TBS caught me on TV at the end of the Yankees/Orioles after game three of the ALDS howling RAAAAUUULLLL after he (Raul Ibanez) belted a bottom of the ninth home run to tie, then bottom of the 12th home run to win it! Probably the most exciting ending at the stadium I have seen. Walking out the entire crowd chanting RAAAAULLLL with Sinatra's "New York, New York" playing. Only in NYC. All the Yankees piling on Raul Ibanez after he rounded third and threw his helmet way...

Over at Outbrain, we are helping the victims in Japan by driving 1/4 million readers from the outbrain network to pages that inform people how they can help. So we'll be pointing links to non-profits such as Red Cross, Salvation Army, Save The Children and others. You can contribute as well. If you see any web pages that inform folks how they can help, send the links to support@outbrain.com and we'll get them loaded into the system. Links can also point to pages on other sites that list ways folks can help. here's our blog post for more information.

Last night I opened the 2010 Fall striper season at Sandy Hook with an evening surf casting session. I fished under relative darkness just a few days after the full moon.
