...has it been this long since I last posted? It is good to be back! I have successfully completed another class. Christmas was busy, but not with Christmas stuff. My DD stayed at a friend's house & ended up with head lice. Our break was consumed with getting rid of the little beasts. Ugh. I am glad to report that they are gone & hopefully they will not show their ugly little selves again in our household. My poor DD had to put up with treatments, combing & her mom's shaky nerves.

On to crafty things...I have a cute recipe book to show using the Bakery stamp by Stephanie Ackerman for Purple Onion Designs.

I have MISSED YOU ALL! I am taking a little break from classes right now, so hopefully will be around here more often for the next couple months.

...classes, that is.  I completed my first class (I'm assuming I passed but haven't had an official grade posted yet...but I'm not too worried).  I have already had a couple days of my new class, Typography, and am already sucked in.  On Friday the instructor showed us a video about Helvetica and I couldn't get enough of it.  It showed us type on signs, restaurants, shops, everywhere.  I found myself thinking back to my childhood & of my interest in reading signs & looking for text/information on road trips.  I still do this today.  I think that I'm truly coming home to what I have loved for so long...words.  :)

Well, we are not having muffins today.  However, we are going to have a decorated muffin tin.  I have used Tombow's adhesive in in this project too.  I used the liquid glue to help adhere the clear acetate pieces to cardstock (such as the spider web piece behind the letter B)...this liquid glue dries clear which works perfect for acetate.

I created the witch by coloring the stamp with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens & then spritzing with water prior to stamping.  I really love how distressed my witch came out.
