There are many ways to skin a cat, and the State of Kansas is showing that it will not be pushed around by the Obama Administration and the Federal Government in the fight over health care reform. Kansas Senator Mary Pilcher-Cook of Shawnee along with other collegues in the Kansas House and Senate are moving legislation to amend the Kansas Constitution that would allow the State to Opt-out of the federal mandate of requiring health insurance. This is the 10th Amendment in action, power reserved to the States and the people. This is what federalism is all about!! For amendment to occur 2/3 of the House and 2/3 of the Senate must approve the amendment and then the amendment must be put to the voters requiring a majority to become part of the Kansas Constitution.
This is why I love Kansas, remember there is no place like home.

OBAMA WINS NOBEL PEACE PRIZE . . . What a JOKE

Form over SUBSTANCE this is the creed in America and the world in our culture today. If you look good and you are well liked? so goes the spoils. Barack Hussein Obama has done NOTHING to win this honor, in fact, it would be better fitting to give this honor to his Teleprompter TOTUS.
At least Jimmy Carter brokered a peace agreement with Egypt and Israel. I guess this is the state of winning such honor these days, it is just a popularity poll. Barack Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize is the biggest joke of 2009. It makes these type of honors a laughing stock, however, it is not very funny, but shows that these institutions are politically motivated and do not represent true substance.

So Obama enjoy your honor, but America is scratching its head and laughing at you.

More and more Americans are seeing the error of their vote in November 2008, the polls speak to this error loud and clear, the massive protests at Town Hall meetings scream louder, and the outpouring of public support for Tea Parties and Conservative Candidates speak volumes. It seems America is being torn apart by the Obama Administration and the liberal congress and it makes any sensible American to beg the question, "how did Barack Hussein Obama attain the Office of the United States Presidency?"

What's done is done is the response of spectators into the political battlefield that boils around the Obama Administration. But Americans are growing wiser every minute of every day as they see this country being trampled over by a President who holds nothing sacred, who in fact by his actions and words despises this great land. What's done can be undone, yes we can, in the words of the great fictional character "Bob the Builder" would say, "YES WE CAN" undo the error of 2008.

The first step is to fight by letting your voices be heard. Second, throw out all liberal democrats who are running for re-election in the midterm elections in both houses. Third, throw-out the ERROR in the 2012 Presidential Election. "YES WE CAN."

In year one, is Obama already headed for lame-duck status?

Here is a post by Max Eternity, espousing the idea that OBAMA is already a lame-duck, by the way where is Obama, he has been pretty quiet as his poll numbers are spiraling downward.

They site a number or reasons, the least of which includes the handling of the financial crisis, government secrecy, domestic spying and gay rights legislation. But most of all, the issue that seems to be striking at the heart of the mounting discontent is President Obama's failure to stand firm on his commitment to providing medicare-styled healthcare for all.

On the way to the White House, Barack Obama won the hearts and minds of liberals and conservatives alike. Still the engine at the core of the Obama election machine was unmistakably driven by the progressives who rallied behind his call for "change." Now in what many say is a rapid slide to the right, embracing many of Bush's failed policies, more than a few loyal supporters now find themselves grumbling in discontent.

Yesterday John Zogby, the noted pollster, published a poll that indicated Obama's waning support amongst Democrats. And today, both the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Progressive Caucus, wrote in separate letters addressed to the President, indicating that without a robust public option to be included in healthcare reform, their support would be withdrawn.

For President Obama, it's a day of reckoning on Capitol Hill, and this is to say nothing of the rift that's building over his escalation of war in Afghanistan; an occupying war which Chris Hedges recently dubbed "Obama's Forever War".

In many respects, of his own doing, President Obama now faces a compendium of enormous challenges, any of which that might sink him just the same.

OBAMA INTRODUCES NEW PHRASE to ENGLISH LANGUAGE "ALL WEE WEED UP"

"ALL WEE WEED UP"

WHERE IS TOTUS? Obama went off TOTUS and this is what he said, "THERE IS SOMETHING about AUGUST GOING INTO SEPTEMBER WHERE EVERYBODY IN WASHINGTON GETS ALL WEE WEED UP." I do not know about you, but I have never heard that phrase before, maybe it is a phrase that comes from the makers of Roundup, you know, the weed killers, or maybe and probably more likely Obama's college picture of him smoking what appears to be a reefer is what is meant by "all wee weed up."

Whatever it means, I just want to thank President Barack Hussein Obama for expanding the English language, I now have a phrase I can use in court, "You see judge my client got all wee weed up and that is why he drove drunk." I can't wait to use the all wee weed up defense, hey it might just let my client go free.

If Obama thinks UPS & FEDEX are doing Fine, Where is the argument for government run Anything?

Obama today put a big endorsement on private run entities. Obama talking about the US Postal System stated the government run enterprise is ALWAYS in trouble, but the capitalistic private owned enterprises of UPS & FEDEX are always doing fine. Hmmm, hmmm, what is Obama saying? I guess he is arguing for private ownership and privately runned business, because the government has no cost incentive and eventually ends down the path of insolvency. Now transfer this argument to Health Care, picture a government controlled Health Care System, (with No Lines, just like Disneyland) I see a system like the postal service: Insolvency. Guess who bears the burden of Insolvency, the taxpayer. Even by Obama's own words private enterprise is far better than government controlled companies, just ask Russia.

I just received the news the Hollywood Producer, Writer, & Director John Hughes passed away today in Manhattan, New York. John Hughes brought me much happiness and joy even though I never personally met the guy, but his movies touched all of our lives, in fact, I have been compared to Clark Griswold by many people, as I have the same appetite for seeing as much as I can on Vacations. But one of the greatest scenes in all movie-dom is in the 1985 John Hughes cult classic "Weird Science" is when Garry (Anthony Michael Hall) and Wyatt (Iian Mitchell-Smith) put a bra on their heads, here is the exchange:

Wyatt: Gary?... By the way, why are we wearing bras on our heads?
Garry: [hesitates] Ceremonial.

It was a faux-ritual in creating the perfect experiment, this reminds me of President Barack Obama. Just like Garry & Wyatt, Obama loves to put a bra on his head, I do not mean literally but figuratively. Obama actions are all CEREMONIAL, there is no true substance to his philosophy or agenda, he is always performing. In honor of John Hughes, rent Weird Science and when Wyatt and Garry put Bras on their heads, think of Obama and how all of his actions in his first 200 days have been CEREMONIAL.

Thank you, John Hughes for bringing laughter to the big screen and memorable moments to the 80's & 90's culture.

ANGER IS NOT ASTRO TURF OBAMA, IT IS THE REAL DEAL

"GRASS ROOTS ANGER IS REAL A MIXTURE OF BLUE GRASS & RYE"

For a minute I thought manufacturing in the USA was up . . . Obama had worked his magic by dropping bags of stimulus into American Manufacturing and it worked when the White House talked about the "grass roots" anger seen across the country at Town Hall meetings is manufactured. Well, you have to give Obama credit, he has stimulated something in the USA, it is not the economy, but it is good old fashioned American Anger. I am sorry to say Mr. Gibbs, the anger is not ASTRO TURF, but is a mixture of bluegrass and rye and by Obama's poll numbers, I would bet the farm that it is real and becoming a problem for the Obama administration. Here, is the play by play that leads-up to the arrogant liar, liar, Gibbs response:

GIBBS: NO, I get asked every day about the myriad of things that could be derailing our message.
I would point out that I don't know what all those guys were doing, what were they called,
the brooks brothers brigade in florida in 2000, appear to have rented a similar bus and are
appearing together at town hall meetings throughout the country

Q: They seem to be pretty widespread.

GIBBS: I seem to see some commonality in who pops up in some of these things.

Q: Like individuals?

GIBBS: Yeah.

Q: Really?

GIBBS: Yeah.

Q: Can you discuss names or ….

GIBBS: I don't have names but I think you can see quite a bit of similarity between who
shows up where.

Q: What was the thinking behind responding to the Drudge Report?

GIBBS: Well, as we've discussed in the briefing room, there's a tremendous amount of
misinformation floating around on health care. We thought it was important to make sure that
we answered the misinformation. I think one of the things that we learned, certainly on the
campaign was, that in the absence of other information, you don't want people to believe what
is knowingly untrue. So we're trying to change that.

Q: Robert, if these town halls are even being influenced by, whatever, a cabal or individuals,
how problematic is that for you guys to try to your message out? Even if the premise that it is
unfair is correct, it's still going to shape the way these town halls are viewed throughout the
country.

GIBBS: Well, you know, look, I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly
the Astro Turf nature of so-called grassroots lobbying--

Q: The grassroots what?

GIBBS: The Astro Turf nature of grassroots lobbying, which is largely the term for, you know,
this is manufactured anger.
