The eight candidates for city council spoke and responded to questions at a public forum on April 20.  We invite you to listen to any of the candidates' remarks at that forum on YouTube.  The candidates' remarks have been edited into video clips of one to two minutes in length.  Four city council seats will be decided in the city's election next Tuesday May 4.

There are sixty-four clips in all, divided equally among the eight candidates.  To choose what to watch, you have two options.

Each candidate gave opening and closing statements, and each was asked to recount what they were hearing back from voters as they campaigned.  In addition they answered forty questions drawn randomly from a hat.  Thirty-two of those random questions came from the audience, and eight were among those posed by the forum's organizers, the League of Women Voters of Falls Church and the Village Preservation Improvement Society.
