When I started blogging my reading really did suffer, there was just too many blogs to read and comment on but now I seem to have a better balance to allow me to read much more. I loved reading Stieg Larson's Millenium Trilogy last year and was introduced to a few new aussie authors as well. But buying books is expensive and I tend to pass them on once I have read them. </p>
<p style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">So for some time I had been thinking about e-readers. I chose the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/">Amazon</a> <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Wireless-Reading-Display-Generation/dp/B0015T963C/ref=amb_link_86425591_2/181-9558169-8960617?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=1RB1ZZEW1NBXB83XEBQ7&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=506632571&pf_rd_i=507846">Kindle</a> e-reader with the 6" screen and it's wireless and I love it. It's about the size of a paperback and its like reading a normal book because its like reading inkjet on paper with no backlighting...so easy on the eyes. But even better because it's wireless it downloads books within 60 seconds of purchase. Its so simple to purchase a book either directly on Amazon or through the Kindle shop on the e-reader. The books are about US$11 each, a huge saving. It has lots of added advantages like an inbuilt dictionary, the ability to highlight or keep clippings of text. You can also subscribe to magazines and newspapers.</p>

<p style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Having transitioned from Singapore last year to be living full time in Melbourne has been great. But still more moves are in sight this year with us having to move houses. But what fun. On the checklist is a dedicated studio/sewing room for me. I cant wait.</p>
