As I head into the heart of the wedding season, I'm just a few weeks away from the launch of my new website and new blog. A huge thanks to infinet design's Brock and Dave, for their insight, creativity, and amazing service behind their product. I'll launch the site and blog asap!

I just returned from Photoshopworld, where I was honored to teach with the likes of Jay Maisel, Joe McNally, Dave Black, and a slew of other world class talent. Honestly, just being in the same room as these icons is incredibly humbling. A huge thank you to Scott Kelby for allowing me to be a part of Photoshopworld, and Kelby Media.

I also wanted to thank Rob Galbraith for the feature on me this past week. Here's a link to the story. I think it's a pretty good read thanks to Eamon Hickey, who wrote the article. Thanks so much, guys! I still haven't done a recap of WPPI, where I took 2 second place awards in the Print comp. However, in the words of Ricky Bobby in "Talladega Nights"- "if you aint first, you're last!

Normally, I just blog the facts. The whos, whats, wheres.. etc. This destination was just sensational. The beauty of the people, the country, and the city inspired me. A request for help for our friends down under- Brisbane Flood Victims need our help

When I first heard about the floods in Brisbane, Australia, my thoughts and concern immediately went toward my dear friend Marcus Bell. Marcus is one of the worlds best photographers, and while his home and studio were spared, many of his friends and family have been devastated by the recent flooding- many lost everything they own-Read below to find out how we can help. Incidentally, I use some of Marcus's workflow solutions in my studio. His products are fantastic, and money will go to a great cause.

You may have seen the news footage of the significant flooding that occurred throughout Queensland Australia during late December 2010 and January 2011. Many lost their lives, many more lost their homes. Three quarters of the state was declared a disaster zone. This is an area roughly the size of Texas.
A resident of Brisbane Queensland, award-winning photographer Marcus Bell is raising money to help flood victims, by placing ten of his own classic images up for sale. All proceeds from each sale will be going to the Queensland Governments Flood disaster relief fund. Each signed “Artist Proof” print is an original award winning photographic work. Each unframed 24 inch print for sale for $950 (plus postage) and is printed to the highest quality 300GSM Archival cotton paper. Many of these prints represents a saving of between 50 to 75% off the normal edition print price.

In addition 20% of ALL of Marcus Bell Photographer Resources Products sold during January and February will also be donated to the fund. This also includes the 5 new Instant Effect Presets products recently released after a year in development.

Gabrielle and Michael- Princeton NJ/ South Gate Manor- Freehold NJ

Gabrielle and Michael began their day at the Peacock Inn in Princeton NJ. Claudia Seylor, as always, did a great job with Gabby's make up, and Beautiful Blooms took care of all of the florals and decor. They were married in Princeton at St. Paul's Catholic Church, and their reception was at the South Gate Manor in Freehold NJ. Been a while since I've blogged. Sorry to anyone following my blog. It's been a busy season. 8 weddings in October, taught a bootcamp here in the studio, spoke at Photoplus, had another bootcamp here, and then spent a week in Hong Kong for a wedding. My new site and blog should be up and running by the end of the year. It's being designed by the amazing Brock and Dave at Infinet Design, and I hope the back end of that new blog will allow me to blog much more often.

Gina and Pierce were married at Old St. Joes, and held the reception at The Hyatt at the Bellevue- always one of my favorite venues. Great people, great day. Here's a few.
