Hi Stampers!
Oh my gosh - we are coming to the end of our 2020-2021 catalog and I am so sad about some of the stamp sets that are going away. I still have a few that I haven’t even used and I am working hard at giving them all a little love! Tonight I made a card with the Walk in the Woods stamp set. Wow this set is so fun to work with! You truly feel like an artists. The way the stamps are designed, it looks like you just sat down and drew an adorable little picture from your walk in the woods. I stamped this on Watercolor Paper and I used a combination of things to color this - mainly watercolor pencils with a blender pen but I did use the Poppy Parade ink pad for the red. After I colored the mushrooms, I punched out some tiny circles to put on them. I love how they look. For the final touch - you definitely should run your stamped and colored pieces thru the Tasteful Textile embossing folder which will make it look just like an artists canvas!
I hope you love this little critter as much as I do. This set is definitely going on the shelf of things I can’t get rid of yet. I’m in so much trouble!!
Hello Stampers!!
Welcome to the Flower Garden Blog Hop featuring the Control Freaks Stampers! If you arrived here from Melissa’s blog - I hope you enjoyed her flowery creations!
Today I am going to share a card that I designed with a little bit of old and a little bit of new! We are in our final days of the current catalog and there are some things that I am going to really miss. This card features the stunning Black & White 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper - True Love, from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog! I wanted to highlight some of our new 2021-2022 In-Color Cardstock and I felt like a black and white backdrop would be the perfect way to show off the new colors. The new colors shown in this card coordinate so perfectly together! I also want to mention that the new In-Color Jewels are really spectacular. They are even prettier than they appear in the catalog!
I used a new Bundle for this card also - it is the Flowers of Friendship Bundle. What I love about this bundle is that it has a punch for the flowers which makes the stamping a lot of flowers pretty quick and easy business!
This card is a bit of a fun fold and I will show a sample of the cutting and scoring measurements! This is a card that’s definitely calls for the Stampin’Up! Paper Trimmer!

It is time to move on to the next blog and see what Wendy Weixler has growing in her Flower Garden!
Hi Stampers!
Well here we are at Day 30 of the Christmas Card Making Challenge! The theme for today is “All I Want” - and I am supposed to share something I would want to receive for Christmas. I decided to share a little treat I made this year, instead of a card. I wanted to make a little holiday treat for some girlfriends, so I made my favorite little tarts - S’mores and Strawberry! These fit perfectly in our little Bakery Boxes from last years catalog and I decorated them with some of the designs from the Tag Buffet Project Kit! This kit is so versatile! When you look at our different kits in the catalog - remember you can always change things up to make your own projects!

Hi Stampers!
Today I am sharing my card for Day 29 of the card making challenge. The theme was Chalkboard - which I was really excited to do and I love how this card turned out. I used the Wishes and Wonder Bundle from the Holiday Mini Catalog along with some black cardstock and white embossing powder! I think the Chalkboard technique is really stunning!

Hi Stampers!
Here we are at Day 27 of the Christmas Card Making Challenge and I am going to share a joy that reflects “Joy to the World”! I designed this card for class - and I was looking for something that would be pretty quick and easy. If you haven’t gotten the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp set - I highly recommend it! When I look back at the cards I did for the Challenge - I probably used this stamp set more than any! I also used the Ornamental Envelopes Set for the little designs in the corners!

Hi Stampers!
I have come to the realization that I am not going to make anymore Christmas Cards this year, so I am going to miss a couple of days. I have four cards left to share, so there will only be two days that I skipped. Day 24 called for a card that uses Old Olive, Rich Razzelberry and Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, and I have to admit - that just wasn’t working for me, so I am happy to let it go. Day 25 calls for a card that is “All Wrapped Up!”, and that one I have covered! This is actually a card that I designed to be a gift card holder. I love this Holiday Catalog set that features a bunch of bows and a fabulous little punch!

Hi Stampers!
I hope everyone had a Fabulous Christmas! We had some real excitement at our house on Christmas Eve, as my daughter Sarah’s boyfriend proposed to her! She had no idea it was coming so it was a wonderful surprise and we are so happy for Aleks to become an official part of our family! My favorite part of this first picture is how their new puppy Daisy wanted to get in on the action! She is so cute - just look at the way Daisy is looking at her momma!
Okay now onto the card for today! Day 24 calls for a winter card so I am going to share a card I made with a Paper Pumpkin Kit from 2019. I loved this Paper Pumpkin so much I bought some extras last year and turned them into a fabulous card kit that I offered to my customers to make at home this year during Covid.
To make this card I used the parts and pieces from the Winter Gifts November 2019 Paper Pumpkin and I added some Pool Party, Real Red and White Cardstock, Used the new snowflake embossing folder and the greeting is from the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set!
Hi Stampers!
I am here with my card for Day 22! The theme was a Contemporary Christmas Card. I will admit, this is a style of stamping that doesn’t come easy to me but I gave it a shot! I pulled out a retired stamp set - Dashing Deer, which is a favorite. I did a watercolor wash with a little bit of Seaside Spray ink and added some black jewels!

Hi Stampers!
Oh boy, I have been slacking! It is time to get back to stamping and finish up this challenge! Today I share a Classic Christmas Card. This is one of my favorites of the cards I did this year. With the year we have just walked thru I do think “Peace on Earth” is the perfect greeting for our holiday cards.
