High School Ministry Happenings...

Hey HSM!! We hope and pray that these last few weeks of school go great for you and that you can END WELL what has been a great year.

With that in mind, the student ministires at CPC in on a two week break for both midweek and Sunday programs.

We're looking forward to kicking off the summer as all our grade levels move up on Sunday June 10th.

Until then, Houseboat signups are still going strong. Get your student registered ASAP to reserve a spot for this great summer trip.

It was exciting to be able to honor and celebrate our seniors last Sunday as we prayed for them and sent them off into their next season of life. Here's the montage video.

Houseboat Signups are in full swing!!

Houseboats is our High School Ministry Summer Camp June 24th-27th. It's an exciting trip as we swim, play and spiritually engage eachother on Lake Shasta. Your student is officially registered for the trip when we receive their REGISTRATION FORM & deposit for the trip. Scholarships are available, you can download the scholarship form HERE and turn it in to Scott with your Registration form ASAP. Spots are limited and we anticipate selling out spots quickly.

It's been a great few weeks with LoveWorks a few weeks ago and Easter this past Sunday. Easter officially kicks off the home stretch of High School Ministry before we jump into Summer.

Here are some of the happenings this week and a little in the future..

LifeGroups tonight in homes throughout the Peninsula

We made it!! It's been an amazing 24 hours in the tenderloing caring for the needs of others. We've experienced hunger and we've been the hands and feet of God in caring for the hungry!

God has been so good to us and showed up in great ways. I can't wait for all of you to hear the stories of lives changes!!

Local Missions Update: Day 1

Day one has been amazing!! God is moving as we purposefully fast and help make a dent in world hunger. The challenge from scripture is to "fast like you're not fasting". Fast in a way where it doesn't seem like you are. We feel the strength of the Holy Spirit sustaining us as we experience Hunger together.

We're off to the city in the morning via the BART for another amazing day as we help the hungry after experiencing hunger

God is so good!!

Where, When and What for Love Works!

The High School Ministry does NOT meet this Sunday, March 25 due to "Love Works." We hope you and your family will serve at a project together this weekend! It's not to late to sign up! If you are still looking for a project, the Student Ministries Team is sponsoring the 3rd Street/Levee/Pedway on SATURDAY, March 24 from 8:15-1 pm with a yummy lunch included!! The project will take place between the Windsurfers Parking Lot near Mariners Point Golf Course and the Foster City water tanks located at the corner of E. Third Avenue and Foster City Blvd. All volunteers are asked to park in the parking lot located at 101 Lincoln Centre Drive in Foster City and walk across the street to the Foster City Corporation Yard located at 100 Lincoln Centre Drive. This project is rain or shine! Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty in, INCLUDING your LoveWorks T-Shirt and bring work gloves (and knee pads, if you desire).
