Have I mentioned lately how much I love Stampin' Up!

I absolutely love the fact that I can do what I want, when I want. Since things have not exactly gone the way I thought they were going to go since I've moved to PA, I have basically had to take this year "off" as a demonstrator, but yet, that is the beauty of being a demonstrator. When things finally get settled into a better routine and I can start holding classes, workshops, clubs, etc. again, then you will probably get sick of seeing me on here. But the beauty of a home-based business is that you can fit it into any schedule. If I can fit it into working two jobs totalling on average of 60 - 62 hours a week, then anyone can do this - whether you work outside the home or are a Domestic Engineer (stay at home wife/mom).

Even though I've taken this year "off," I am still up on the latest and greatest Stampin' Up! has to offer. I've seen the brand spanking new 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog and can't wait to get my hands on my copy. BUT, I already have my hands on the brand new "celebrando creatividad" 2009-2010 Catalog and the brand new "definitely decorative" Fall-Winter 2009 Catalog. All I can say is WOW!!! I want it all. If you are interested in receivng any of these new catalogs when they are available in July, please send me an email letting me know and I'll be in touch with you regarding your request.

The countdown is on ........

It seems like the best of plans don't always turn out the way we want them to. So, in going with that theme, I have delcared that this time that I am going through is a time of rest (yet, not rest - see below). I have a lot of great plans for the things that I want to do, but apparently they will have to wait. Sometimes waiting is a good thing. I truly believe that the Lord has been and continues to teach me patience through all of this. But I'm ready for it to be over now - LOL!!!

I have been working two jobs these days: a switchboard operator and a cashier at Walmart. I am enjoying both jobs, but as you can well imagine, I am exhausted. I know this won't be forever and for that, I am extremely grateful and excited. I am also extremely thankful and grateful that the Lord has blessed me with two jobs.

I have recently gone through a situation that, of course, I can look back on now (only a few short weeks later) and see how the Lord had my back and not only that, there was that "still small voice" that I apparently chose to ignore. It's amazing how even when we choose to ignore what we know is right, God is always right there with us, protecting us and holding our hands. Grant it, we don't see it that way at the time, but it's so true. I know that through this ordeal, I have come out the other side stronger and much closer to the Lord than before. I can guarantee that I won't be making that mistake again. I know that that is kind of vague, but it's not the details that are relavent here, it's the outcome.

On that note, I am going to leave you with a really cute card by Beth Suhr, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. The stamp set she used is Just Buzzin' By. Ta ta for now...
