Enjoyed Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows on Saturday evening, but didn't like having to sit in the front row. Yes, I squealed each time Gladstone was on the big screen. He could be a boyfriend for The Furry B.
Made French onion soup for the first time and it was quite yummy.
Rescued a duck who was hit by a car (we presumed) and had a broken leg. Felt much better when the Wildlife Rescue guy came to pick her up and he told us he thought they could get her better.
Back to making new postcards. This time I decided to go with a little bigger size so I could incorporate a bit more stamping. Stamps are the new Beekeeper's Tea line from Character Constructions. I've been using Inkssentials Surfaces Manila Cardstock for making all my postcards. Love the weight and how the colors blend so nicely on the surface.
Looking forward to watching Glee and New Girl this evening.
Excited that the Orchid blooms are starting to open. I've got 3 different plants with blooms. YAY!

was created for a very special girl. This was our first birthday apart (sniff sniff), but we pulled through and had a nice chat. Glad she had some friends visiting for the weekend.
We were busy putting away the remaining holiday decorations. I'm glad to have the tree out of the living room and lights off the outside of the house. Had to make a trip to the dreaded Home Depot to pick up flood lights for the outside and some sprinkler part. Trying to find what I need there is always a challenge. Also managed to find a little creative time, and will be sharing a few more things soon.
Got a chance to watch the film The Green Lantern. I was bored after the first 5 minutes, so needless to say, I give it a thumbs down, even though it has the adorable Ryan Reynolds in it. Was home on Thursday and Friday due to some "medical maintenance" and got started watching Downton Abbey. Oh Wow, it is GREAT, and the clothing worn by the women is gorgeous! Watched the whole first season streaming Netflix, and then was able to catch the first 2 episodes of season 2 last evening on PBS. Very much like Upstairs, Downstairs that I remember from ages ago. Big thumbs up to this series.

Miss B is back in school, starting her first day of Spring semester classes today, so thought I'd start back on the postcard project by sending her a new one with an inspirational message and a wish for good luck.

Also used some new mushroom clips that I purchased in January when a local gift shop closed.
These are just Instagram photos. I actually dragged out the SLR and tripod and took some using my 85mm lens and got some pretty bokeh. Just need to find the time to load onto the pc.
Was also happy to score a special online puchase today to make a certain man happy (I hope). Can't wait to see his face! It is gonna be great!
Baby girl is taking her last exam and will be heading out today. Looking forward to picking her up (at her roommates house) on Sunday. It's gonna be great to have her home for 3 weeks with no school commitments. YAY!
Today is my last day at work, so I am excited about having 2 weeks off.

getting my new calendar for next year. I love this style and have used it since the first year they came out. I was seriously bummed when they did not make one last year. I looked and looked for an alternative and found nothing I liked. I ended up using a 2008 version that I had purchased to alter, but just changed the days to make it work for 2011. Having a new one for this year is just the best!
