The receptionist called me this morning to say someone dropped something off at the desk for me.

As I sat and ate my chocolate chocolate chip muffin I wondered about my secret admirer: If she’d set foot in a church she’s probably a good, wholesome gal, but a good wholesome gal wouldn’t leave chocolate chocolate chip muffins for breakfast.

So what is the nature of this secret admirer of mine? A delicious conundrum

It’s strange to think that I could be doing something “wrong” my whole life; then learn the right way and never do it wrong again. Stranger to think I can pass on this “correct” way to Elijah and so he’ll never, ever do that something wrong. I guess that’s what parenting is.

I must have walked 24th between my house and Lyndale 10,000 times – probably more. Walking this morning Amanda pointed out this sign and wondered aloud if it’d always been there. I can’t honestly say. How strange is that.

I read that Sarah Palin is advertising more on Google due to the spike in searches about her since her recent whatever-she-calls-it. Personally; I click a SarahPac ad every time I see one. It costs her money and that’s funny to me.

I keep changing themes in lieu of actually writing something

Lately “Absence” and I have been staring at each other across the table. We’re not mad at each other; mostly we’d gotten into a bored rut where we were each doing our own things and only occasionally talking anymore. Recently we’ve been talking a bit more and thinking that maybe we should, you know, consider giving things another shot.

Amanda and I are currently trying to pack and move … all of our blogs.

You see; we've outgrown TypePad (our current host) like an old apartment but the process of moving to a new place is rather painful. It's kinda like moving then having to recreate all your stuff – not from scratch, from rubble.

So it's taking a while.

We've already effectively moved two blogs and had some issues, so if you were ever a subscriber of Amanda's blog – Not Quite Set – or my Moms – BS From The Farm – Please go visit and resubscribe.

I'll keep you posted as we get the new places set up!

Moving

If you read Amanda’s blog or Mom’s blog you know that we’re moving; off of Typepad (where we currently are) to platforms better and more Sherman friendly. This has been a time consuming process, mostly because I don’t have the time.

Things have fallen off the list as a result. Absence is one of them. It’s an unintentional consequence of progress.

Thanks to those of you who check in still and I hope to see you all again. I’ll be back here more now and “here” will be moving soon. As a special treat because you’ve been sp patient I wanted to give you a video
