Here's another 30 minutes of fun on the beach with a very special family. You see, their eldest son proposed to my eldest daughter last year. It's true 8 year old love!

Yes, it's been a while. I'm still in shock that it really July and my kiddos start school in 17 days! Melissa Jensen Photography has been busy moving and I am happy to announce that we now have a home in Chandler, AZ. I will continue providing on location sessions around the valley.

As promised, a sneak peek for mom! I met this family at their home in Scottsdale for a few updated headshots of mom and family portraits that were long overdue.
Most of my work documents the milestones of childhood....a newborn baby baby, an exploring toddler, those big toothless smiles. While I was browsing this gallery, I realized what an important milestone this is for Thomas. He's entering high school next year and leaving childhood behind. Thanks for playing along Thomas! It's been a while....but I'm back!
Last week I met up with Hayley in Scottsdale. She is a senior at Thunderbird High School. She is stunning! High School Seniors are not my usual subjects to photograph, but I absolutely loved it! Meet baby Findley at only 5 days old. I loved everything about this session. It was hard to believe mom and dad were doing this for the first time. They were comfortable and confident, naturals. It's not normal for first time parents to catch poop, but dad wasn't afraid! Thanks for saving my camera, sorry about the computer :) Congratulations and thank you for having me capture this time for you.
