        <title>Resistance Movement</title>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>I'm trying really hard to resist.....I'm resisting sweets, I'm resisting white bread.  And now that I'm actually finishing some projects I'm really working hard at resisting the temptation to start a new project.  I'm still focusing on the UFO's and those poor orphan blocks that are just waiting to be a UFO.</p><p>Ok, what I really want to start on is this....</p><p><a href="http://willworkforfabric.typepad.com/.a/6a00df35226bbe88340120a6868b74970b-pi" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Americanasampler" border="0" class="asset asset-image at-xid-6a00df35226bbe88340120a6868b74970b " src="http://willworkforfabric.typepad.com/.a/6a00df35226bbe88340120a6868b74970b-800wi" style="width: 401px; height: 515px;" title="Americanasampler" /></a> </p><p>I picked this pattern up on a recent shopping trip with the Sisters.  One of them MADE me buy all the background fabric, so I'm really ready to go on this......but resist I must.</p><p>Instead, I took 4 lonely basket blocks and they are now going to be a pillow.</p><p><a href="http://willworkforfabric.typepad.com/.a/6a00df35226bbe883401287588462f970c-pi" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Basket pillow" border="0" class="asset asset-image at-xid-6a00df35226bbe883401287588462f970c " src="http://willworkforfabric.typepad.com/.a/6a00df35226bbe883401287588462f970c-800wi" title="Basket pillow" /></a> <br /> I'm quilting it with pearl cotton with big stitches, so this will be done in a flash.</p><p>Gotta get more of these UFO's done so I can start a new project....all this resisting is killing me!!!  Maybe I'll go eat some white bread.</p><p>Hugs and Stitches!</p><p>Megan</p><p /></div>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>There's plenty of blue in my Twin #1 quilt....I think I'm done with blue for a while.</p><p><a href="http://willworkforfabric.typepad.com/.a/6a00df35226bbe88340120a65d7475970b-pi" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Blueheaventop" border="0" class="asset asset-image at-xid-6a00df35226bbe88340120a65d7475970b " src="http://willworkforfabric.typepad.com/.a/6a00df35226bbe88340120a65d7475970b-800wi" title="Blueheaventop" /></a> <br /> but  wowee kazowee, didn't it come out nice?  It so big it would not fit on my design wall, so there was definitely an element of winging it when it came to putting the whole thing together.  But in the end, if two of the same fabric are side by side, who cares!</p><p>And now from the "Stop me before I say something stupid" department:</p><p>My car guys were discussing parts the other nite at the dinner table.  I try to be interested, really I do.....</p><p>So they are talking about Braille batteries for the car.  Braille this braille that.  So finally I join in....</p><p>"is it really safe for blind people to be working on a battery, couldn't they get burned by the acid or something?"</p><p>silence</p><p>laughter</p><p>at my expense</p><p>"Mom, Braille is the brand name"</p><p>oknevermind.</p><p>Somebody please stop me....</p><p>Hugs and Stitches!</p><p>Megan</p></div>
