Day 13 / In Your Bag
I have very little in this smaller Brighton purse as my large Brighton was stolen out of my car right before Christmas ... what a pain in the a** that is!!!! Thank god my wallet and cell phone were NOT in it at the time! However, my brand new Sony Cyber Shot digital camera was along with my brand new prescription eye glasses.....
Just returned from our fabulous 5 day cruise to Belize & Cozumel so I will now get caught up on my "Photo A Day Challenge" / Day's 9 through 12
Day 9 / Daily Routine
Morning routine consists of 2 large cups of coffee, my laptop to catch up on Facebook, Pinterest & surf the net and my iPad to play SIMS on ; }
Day 10 / Childhood
My mother made this ceramic Santa pitcher and 6 mugs when I was a little girl. Never liked them much, hung onto them because I didn't have the heart to discard them. Funny how time has a way bringing forth a change of heart.....

Taking this picture brought a beautiful awareness to me. Something so beautiful & yet so simple.....so taken for granted!!!
Day 7 / Favourite
One of my favorite things is my antiques! The older something is the better in my book. Never have been able to put my finger on why I am so darn attracted to old things but I like to say....they just have good ole' bones!!!
So, today I picked one of my favorites....in my bathroom I have two very old wooden medicine cabinets which both hold all my essential oils. My ex husband used to call them my witches oils....lol
hmmmmm......can you smell them??? Lovely, just lovely ♥
Day 6 / Makes You Smile
I am *very* blessed with many things that make me smile. I also am a firm believer that NO ONE can possible be as crazy about their pets as I am, so as I pondered today what my choice would be for a photo of something that makes me smile, I knew instantly that I wanted to use this picture of my little Jack Russell Terrier "Sassy Girl"
Every time I look at this picture I feel like my heart is going to explode as this little dog has brought me nothing but pure joy since the day I watched her come out of her mamma's womb.....
She is 15 and acts like she is going on 3. Just a bundle of energy I'll tell ya!
Interesting thing happened today shortly after I made the choice to use this picture. I heard from one a lady that had one of "Sassy's" sisters (there were 4 female pups in the litter) sadly she had to put her sweet baby to sleep this morning : {
As usual, the Universe spoke to me when I didn't even know it....telling me to use this picture of "Sassy Girl" in honor of her sister ......
Day 5 / Something you wore
Being the temps here in South Florida were in the *very* low 30's last night and the fact that I was packing up my thrift store today to donate everything to an animal rescue thrift store down the street. What better opportunity to wear my comfy sweat pants and a long sleeve t-shirt!!!
I'm following several ladies on Instagram that are participating in this challenge along with Sarah from A Beach Cottage. There were some beautiful variations of mailboxes. I never knew that mailboxes were also called letterboxes until yesterday......learn something new everyday ; }

Geesh there are so many things, how on earth do I chose just one? Since this decsion was so difficult I decided to go with my most current admiration which is Pinterest!!!

Day 2
Today was take a picture of breakfast. Unfortunately we eat out all meals just about *every* day and today was no exception to the rule....the only difference is that I don't usually eat this much for breakfast.

Part 1} For several years now I have chosen to participate in the OLW challenge that lasts all year long. I give it my best shot to reflect on my word often and to celebrate it's meaning!!! In 2011 my OLW was "Simplify" ... I not only came to be madly in love with this word but truly have been able to not only transform my thinking but also my lifestyle to a much simplier way of living!
My OLW for 2012 shall be ... "Balance"
I am searching for balance in my life. I find that I am always striving for it but sometimes coming up well, uneven. Well mostly always really. I juggle many different roles in my life and I am sure you can relate. Once I selected my word, it kept making an appearance over & over again, reinforcing it was a good choice.
Part 2} I *love* challenges, just love them!!! So when I saw this particular challenge on Sarah's blog called A Beach Cottage, I knew instantly that I wanted to participate.
