I checked out my last blog entry which said essentially the same thing, and it was Jan. 2011. That's 17 months ago! Quite a break...

BUT, today is my birthday! And, I'm 45 years old! And, it's Mother's Day! Is it time to start lying about my age yet? Really, I'm 30-15. Get it?

Yesterday we went to Erica's Softball tourney which was up in Greely, CO. About an hour and 20 minutes from here and quite frankly it was a VERY cold day and I DID NOT want to be there. But, in the end I had fun with all our friends and watching some good ball. I love softball and watching my girl play.

I LOVE that. So, while they are up there Devin and I are hanging out at home where it is warm and dry. So far this isn't the most exciting post ever but at least I finally wrote one after a year and a half.

Wow, thanks to everyone who came out. I sold a TON of yarn and I even sold my Lendrum Wheel. Today went WAYYYYY better than I thought it would and I am extremely happy with how everything turned out.

Most of all, thank you to my friend Sylvia and her family. Sylvia brought in a LOT of people that I wouldn't have even been able to reach. Her sweet mama fed me, and her dad lugged bags and boxes for me. She has about 15 cloned sisters, I swear. They are all beautiful, and all of their children are so cute and funny. I felt like I was in their home - and very spoiled! Thank you Sylvia.

We're gonna do it all again the first week of Thanksgiving (due to many requests). I'll have gone through my stash, twice, three times more and there will be more great deals all at 50% off again.

Pretty Awesome day today. I'm so thankful.
<xhtml:img xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/typepad/bfWd/~4/nWhcIQa9PUs" height="1" width="1" />

A Note From Sylvia:

It’s a Sale of fibery goodness & more….

Hey y’all, it’s a blast from the past!
Hope this finds all my fiber friends well and crafting. This past year has brought so many changes to my life, but the welcome change is a little more knitting! Projects have been getting done and others frogged. Stash fondled & organized. Another fun development has been teaching knitting classes at my local branch library. I also love that Stitch Therapy continues to meet once a month. Join our POSH Facebook Group to find out more.

I have finally gotten around to finally start organizing a craft room, and I’m slowly going though the POSH boxes. This is a work in progress, as there is a whole store to sort, but I have found more yummy things to destash. Since I can’t keep it all to myself I decided to share, LOL! So…here it is. The Stash-a-palooza Sale! I’ve invited a couple of friends to join in, so there will be LOTS of stuff, including bags and purses.

See y’all this Saturday!

First on my list is "Family." I'm pretty proud of my family and where we are right now and where we are headed. I also have on there "Friends," "My Artwork," "My Neighborhood" and various other things big and small.

Maybe I'll scan some pages in here to show you....

What are you guys grateful for? Have you done any pages or journaling about this?

Quincy Ready to Go. Funky Photo taken in HDR, processed in Photoshop CS5

**********************************************************************************************

Knitting? It's not happening. It's not diagnosed yet, but my right arm is still just not working right. Probably still has something to do with my neck but who knows. I can get in about 5 minutes, but then I'm done. For the day. With Everything. Typeing on here is not so hot either, I now use a pen tablet, instead of a mouse, and that seems to help. I also type a lot just pecking here and there. And, I've taught myself to do a lot of things left handed on here. It's slow but it works.

I miss my knitting. And, my knitting friends, which sadly seem to have fallen away as well. If it was something I said or did, I'm sorry. We sure did have some fun times! Man, the laughing that went on! Knitting was fun, but it seems to be gone now.... Sad

**********************************************************************************************

Red Rocks Ampitheater is the place to go if you want to walk massive sets of steps and if you want to meet a ton of other dogs. It's also the place to go if you want to see Nine Inch Nails, U2, Neil Diamond, Wynonna Judd, and everyone in between play in concert. During the day- Workout Torture, During the night-Eardrum Torture. Take your pick. Har....

Today marks my first day of "doing the rocks" 9 times in a row. I've never made it this far and I'm pretty proud of myself. Getting off my butt and doing something feels GREAT! We have a system...

1 time up the outside "white" steps (concrete, smooth regular intervals of about 20 steps evenly spaced) then back down

1 time up the "Red" steps, the interier steps on the inside next to the seating (rough red rock steps two at a time with a long stride in between)

1 Time up the middle "seats," see the #'s up there? and see my friend's leg? Those are the seats and they really are about at knee height.

This is a SET. Rinse and Repeat three times and you have "Done the Rocks"

Soon we will add to the set with climbing all the planters and running up the "white" steps. Yes, running. And, we've gotta get all this in before the end of October beginning of November when we get our normal first snow. Gotta do it.... I'm skiing more than 6 times this year. I will.....

My legs work, my feet are in good shape (but you may remember all these steps are how I broke one of them in the first place), I'm pretty healthy, I've got a great family, great husband, great kids, great friends, and a great church. What more can a girl ask for?!!

A dog that likes to do steps too? Check Check!
<xhtml:img xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/typepad/bfWd/~4/J4eV5_llTdM" height="1" width="1" />
