Still gonna kick Zuckerberg’s skinny nerd a$$

Most Active Rain members are familiar with creating community pages on FaceBook.

Are you aware that there are also AUTO-GENERATED community pages?   You cannot post content to auto generated community pages.  In theory, auto-generated pages pull their content from everyone’s FaceBook postings that contain the revelant community words.

Well, I don’t think its working so good.

Anyone here ever had any experience with claiming and taking possession of an auto-generated community page??

Ima gonna try and report back…….

Opening Night Reception:  Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 7-10 pm

Opening at The Avenue 50 Studio is proud:  Democracy and Art, a visual conversation of the role of art in a democracy.  Thirty works were selected by curator, activist and art historian Carol A. Wells, who also serves as the founder and executive director of the Center for Study of Political Graphics.  Chosen artists address the shifting meanings of freedom and equality, censorship and civil liberties.  Using art as a vehicle for the discussion of political issues has a rich history, at times shrouded in censorship.  Please join us as 23 artists converse on questions of democracy.

2011 Commencement Address

by Cheryl Johnson, Bob Taylor Properties, Inc., Los Angeles, CA on June 8, 2011

While it is highly unlikely that I will be invited to give a commencement address at any institiution of higher learning, I figured it would be a good idea to draft out an address, just on the off-hand chance that I am asked to stand in for Mrs. Obama somewhere.

My Address to the Graduating Class of 2011:

Choose a simple life. Travel light. Just say NO to baggage.

Complexity is insidious. It creeps up on you slowly, gradually over many years. And at some point you look back and say “How the hell did life become so FREAKING complicated?”

This earthly existence is beautiful, mysterious, immense, joyful and glorious. Be very slow to place your faith in anyone who would have you believe otherwise.

Peace and love. ☮
