Happy Friday and what better way to ring in a short week then with some more CHANEL. Let’s look at the lippies in the Summer 2012 Collection.
Here is the Rouge Coco Shine ($32) in En Vogue (bright coral) and Empreinte (soft beige). Have you tried these yet? I’m on the fence with the formula. I really like the En Vogue color but it just doesn’t stay on my lips long enough. And each just left a slight hint of color, but I guess this is what these are about. Personally, I need more color in my life on my lips.
I also tried out the Glossimers in the collection - Sirocco (beige) and Calypso (coral) $28.50. Like with the Rouge Coco Shine in Empreinte, the Sirocco just disappeared on me but eh Calypso, hot damn, we have a winner! And it’s totally on trend this season with how hot orange and coral are.
Out of all of these, this Calypso gets my full thumbs up.

This summer, CHANEL Nail Colour says bright and vibrant but also naturally glowing with metallics of bronze and gold. And when it comes to nails? It all flies!

I ran into an old co-worker over the weekend and she asked me what couple of fragrances I could recommend to help her get her spring on. And these next two were at the tip of my tongue.
CALLIO Fragrance in Kiele – the line was launched in the fall of 2011 and is made up of 6 signature scents, soaps, and body lotions. I have not been able to get enough of this Kiele since the first whiff. It’s made up of island flowers: gardenia, jasmine and tuberose. $20/1oz @ calliofragrance.com.
ILLUMINUM White Gardenia Petals EDP – did you ever wonder what scent the Dutchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, wore on her wedding day? Well this is it!
