Two flights later. I just can't sleep.

When i was flying from hong kong to london i met A brave mother was travelling alone with her two kids - one 3 yrs old, the other 7 months. I noticed the way she set up her inflight cot. One of the safety straps was left undone because it retricted the baby's movement, as well as the interaction between her and her child. Needless to say the safety of the baby was comprised but in the eyes of the mother, it was worth it. This is a fine example of a poorly designed piece of furniture. May be the cot and the table should have some kind of interlock, may be the table should fold out as a cot. Whatever the solution is, there is a better way.

I did a presso to a bunch of MBA kids today and they were cool. One bit of my presentation was about the rise of Chinesey products and I promised I'd give them the address to buy stuff. So here it is:
Having had some classroom experience, the one thing that kids crave for more than anything else is attention. Between a piece of toy and you, the kid will choose you every time. Readers of this blog will know that I'm a massive Japanese-phile but this Japanese robot teacher thing is just silly.
