I love to try new things. However, I am a creature of habit so even when I try new things, it isn't far outside of the norm for me. I recently had a friend ask me what is the difference between regular yogurt and Greek yogurt. I quickly responded that it was probably some marketing ploy for us to spend more on yogurt. But I really didn't know. So I bought some....and I'll never go back to regular yogurt again.
Turns out Greek yogurt is made with either sheep or goat's milk. It is also strained more than our typical yogurt - which removes more of the water. It results in a much denser, creamier yogurt - with an amazing flavor. Of course I buy plain, add a packet of low cal sweetener and then toss in some granola (this week I am addicted to Nature's Path Organic Pumpkin Flax Plus Granola!) What a treat! So, new things can be very exciting!
