Yarn you totally hate with a passion? I really dont like to use silk noil, but I love to dye it. Also, I really dont like mohair or
anything too "fuzzy"
What's on the needle? Socks for my hubby and a martini dishcloth. On the hooks: purses galore, a starghan, and more

How many tattoos do you have? 4
What are the tattoos? All my tattoos are stars; I like the theme idea. Stars are something that can mean alot of
things: unique, punk, innocent (ha!), and so versatile
Any ink on the drawing board? I want wrist cuffs! They have to be tasteful, cause I need to keep my job! The left
wrist will have my hubbys name written in Arabic (most like Egyptian) on my left wrist and "big
sister" (also, most likely in Egyptian) on the right wrist, both incorporated into the cuffs.
Piercings? 6 in my ears (4 left, 2 right), left nipple (had to take the right one out), tongue, and belly
button. Currently contemplating a "below-the-belt"
Favorite color: Turquouise or anything else BRITE!
What do you like in a piece of boy/girl meat? Ass and Arms! Eyes, sense of humor, adventure, brains

What do you do to pay for your knitting, tattoo, piercing habit? Social work; it doesnt keep me in tattoos, thats for sure! I do bilingual (English/Spanish)
outpatient therapy for a private, non-profit. I treat mental illness, substance use disorders, family stuff,
kids, adults, DV, trauma; pretty much everything! I do love it!
Any Kids/Pets? A five year old "mog" (sorry for the Spaceballs reference!): a man/dog! Hes a dalmation/bull mix
that hubby and I adopted from a long-term, no-kill shelter in 2006.

What do you think of "I might knit but I won't take your sh**" for the new knit girl slogan? If you can think of a better one leave a comment. It will be cool to see what other ones we can come up with!!!

Ok on to the Knit Girl. I have asked one of my kick ass blog reader Moon to be the first Knit Girl. She has already done her part by getting in the submittion and some really nice pictures too.

I think this will help kick start our site to show the world that we knitters do kick ass and we aren't all grannys not saying there is anything wrong with that (lol) but I'm really tired of people be totally shocked to see girl with no grey hair doing something they call "domestic". On thing I have found out in my time being single is that guys really think it is sexy when a girl knits... so why not show there.

Be brave and get your submittions in. Baby doesn't deserve to sit in the corner!!

Joan Jett-Bad Reputation

I've been working hard coming up with great ideas for The Knit Girls. So it should be up and running soon. I got an overwhelming response to my survey for a website that featured Crafty Girls with ink. I think that is a great way to get to know the other freaky girls that are obsessed with needles!
I'm not sure what a cool prize will be for the winners but I think maybe I can get something that will show you are a kick ass knitter but it also can't break the bank since I'm doing this on my own. Any ideas are appreciated!
Even a calender at the end of the year would be fun too!
Am I digging myself into a big hole? Well who knows!
