I am sorry for the lack of posts.... I have a great studio and lots of fun products to play with yet I cannot bring myself to craft anything! I have no idea what my problem is but hopefully my mojo will return soon. Does that happen to you or is it just me?

When I saw these Taylored Expressions stamps and dies I just had to have them. I have seen window dies but you had to figure out what scene to create on your own looking out the window. With this? You just choose one!
Of course I thought the scene needed a kitty in it! So here is my card, colored with Copics.
OK, I have a thing for creating balloons and covering them with Glossy Accents! I think this is the third card I've done that way. I just love the look of shiny things I think! :-) This uses a set that is one of my new favorites: Simon Says Stamps' Circle of Friends stamp set
I stamped the bees on white cardstock - six times. I die cut the circles around one of them and colored the body of the other ones with Copics. I cut out the body and adhered them to the stamped image. Then covered the whole thing with Glossy Accents! Easy! The background was created by repeatedly stamping the circle beehive pattern using Hero Arts Butter Bar ink on Hero Arts layering paper. I love the tone on tone look
I made and sent this card to my friend Kim C to wish her a speedy recovery from surgery. Sadly, the post office box ate it or something because it never arrived. :-( So, the next best thing has to be to send it to Kim this way.
Have you noticed that I don't use washi tape very often? I don't have anything against it, just not my thing. I think this is the second card I used it on. The dot background is row after row of the fun Doodlebug Ditto Dots washi tape. I couldn't resist the happiness of this tape. The flower uses the PaperTrey Ink Beautiful Blooms II Die set.
Anyone else love Paper Smooches like I do? This is one of my favorite sets... the Nine Lives stamp set.
I colored the kitty with Copics and Kelly Booth made the ball of yarn. I was lucky to be crafting with her and she suggested stamping the ball of yarn on the stamp set and wrapping the yarn around it. She even did it for me! (my big clunky fingers would have struggled with that task) Cute huh? I attached it with Glossy Accents.
Sorry I forgot to write down the patterned paper I used and I can't figure out what pad it came from for the life of me! :-(

I colored Simon with Copics and the umbrella, boots and his eyes are covered in Glossy Accents.
I love this stamp set designed exclusively for Simon Says Stamp by Kristina Werner.
I was excited to make something with the bee so why not multiple bees! :-) I stamped the bee on the circles and then stamped them again on white and colored them with Copics. I cut out the bee body and adhered it to the stamped image.
I have been gone for a few a days for a crafty retreat and my heart is full. Girlfriend weekends are simply good for the soul. And I am so grateful to have had one. And amazingly enough, amidst the socializing I got a few cards made! :-)
