    <content type="html">This article describes a good way to recover from an inadvertent deletion of a contact record without calling in the IT troops to restore from a backup. This method takes advantage of GoldMine's sophisticated synchronization capability. It is not fool proof by any means, but it may save you some additional hassles inherent in restoring from a backup. First, it is easy to delete contact records in GoldMine, so don't feel too bad if you somehow manage to do that. On the contact record you will see a red 'X' up near the top of the record-- this should be...&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

    <content type="html">SQL Queries in GoldMine offer a useful way of locating contacts with criteria that fall outside of the usual "contact field, operator, value" method used by GoldMine's filters. SQL Queries are much more powerful than filters, since users can query GoldMine's database for scheduled items, history, contsupp (that is, e-mail addresses, linked documents, referrals, organizational or relationship charts, additional contacts, profile or detail records, etc.). Plus, SQL queries can search for combinations of these items. Visit the GoldMine community forums for more examples of SQL Queries in GoldMine.
