I'm at VodaWorld in Johannesburg for some meetings.  The sheer size and energy of VodaWorld is impressive - I'm reminded of the Epcot Centre in Orlando!

I had my brothers and sister (the triplets) from Canada and my stepbrother from Cape Town here for the weekend.

We went to swim at The Heads, which is where we all lived when they were growing up here, and in the evening Natalie cooked us a great dinner.  On Sunday after church we all went up to spend some time with the kids at Dorothy Broster.  It was wonderful to have my family back here!

I've just had coffee at Ile de Pain with Shane Kidwell, the headmaster of Oakhill School.

I was excited to hear his vision for making the school more inclusive and part of the greater community, and to discuss how this could dovetail with the work of Child Welfare and others in Knysna, such as the Mission School we have just established in our church.

I'm in Johannesburg working  on Base of the Pyramid strategies with a consulting client.

World Cup 2010 fever is everywhere in the form of footballs, like this one outside FNB's offices near the coffee shop where I'm working.

Kudos to Katie (Father Xmas) and her friend Monique who brought wonderful presents for all the children.

I've just run my first Parenting Teens workshop, drawing from my experience of twelve years of working with teens and their families. Many thanks to my first attendees for their great feedback!

I've been spending a few days at The Field, a Christian commune near Soweto, as the guest of Alexander Venter.

Tonight I had the privilege of sharing with all the members of the community after the weekly supper together.  I spoke about the Third View and how healthy relationships are the foundation of a healthy world, which was followed by a very lively discussion!
