On this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by best-selling author, William Paul Young.  Paul was born a Canadian and raised  among a stone-age tribe by his missionary parents in the highlands of what was once New Guinea.  He suffered great loss as a child and young adult, and now enjoys the "wastefulness of grace" with his family in the Pacific Northwest.  Paul shares his own personal testimony of faith, along with some of the miraculous divine intervention experiences he witnessed that surrounded the creation, publication and distribution of his novel "The Shack," which spent 49 weeks at #1 on the New York Times Best Seller list.

On this episode of Divine Intervention we are joined by miracle plane crash survivor, Mickey Robinson.  As a youth, Mickey Robinson was a hard-driving adrenaline junkie, and became a professional sky-diver.  One fateful day during a routine jump, a horrific plane crash left Mickey severely injured with multiple broken bones, lacerations and third degree burns over 50% of his body.   With doctors giving him little hope of survival, much less recovery, and Mickey hovering between life and death, he had a powerful encounter with God in heaven.  Mickey received a second chance at life and a divine calling, and was sent back into his broken body.  Against all odds, and with a series of miracles including instant healing from paralysis that enabled him to get up out of a wheelchair, to divine visions of Jesus, he made a full recovery from his injuries.  Mickey has since dedicated his life to ministry and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, having traveled the world sharing his testimony and ministering to thousands.

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by Roberts Liardon.

Roberts Liardon, author, public speaker, spiritual leader, church historian and humanitarian was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the first male child born at Oral Roberts University. For this distinction he was named in honour of the University Founder. Thus, from the start of his life Roberts was destined to be one of the most well known Christian Authors and Orators of the 20th century. To date he has sold over 7,000,000 books worldwide which have been translated in more then 50 languages and is known internationally, having ministered in over 112 countries.

An author of 54 books that continue to bless the body of Christ, Roberts continues to have a voice that speaks to this generation of believers and at the same time reaches out to those that are eager to read a relevant message that draws the heart closer to God.

Roberts career in ministry began at a young age, when in 1979, he gave his first Public address at the age of thirteen. Then at seventeen he published his first book, "I Saw Heaven" which catapulted him into the public eye. The book sold over 1.5 million copies and by the following year Roberts had become one of the leading public speakers in the Christian community all over the world.

God inspired Roberts shortly after the publication of "I Saw Heaven" to write and produce a book and video series entitled God's Generals, which chronicled the lives of some of our leading Pentecostal / Charismatic leaders. It was an immediate success and became one of the best selling Christian Video series in history and established Roberts as a leading Protestant church historian, a mantle he still wears to this day.

On this week's episode of Divine Intervention, we are focusing on the music industry, and what God is doing in and through the lives of two supremely gifted musicians, Plumb and Arika Johnson.

                      PLUMB 

Throughout her decade plus career as both a songwriter and artist, Tiffany Arbuckle Lee (a.k.a. PLUMB) has established a highly respected voice in both Christian and mainstream circles.  The breadth of her creative relevance is seen not only in her own music and thought-provoking lyrics, but also in the innumerable other artists who cite her as an influence and her relevance in a number of surprisingly varied genres. 

The 2007 so-called “lullaby album”, Blink has sold nearly 100k albums and boasts over 1 Million singles worldwide, and was followed up with the similarly successful career-spanning hits collection, Beautiful History in 2009. Lee has continued her broad palette of songwriting, both within Nashville’s Christian and Country communities, as well as for rock and pop in Los Angeles (including Dave Hodges, principle writers on  Glee and others).  Lee’s otherworldly voice has proved a perfect fit for numerous film & TV uses (Vampire Diaries, Bruce Almighty, One Tree Hill, among many others).

 Fall 2011 saw the premier of new single Drifting (feat. Dan Haseltine of Jars of Clay), which has enjoyed the strongest start of any PLUMB single to date, premiering with adds at both K-Love and Air1, and quickly becoming the most-added  single in Christian music in September 2011. Now with the final touches going into her sixth studio album Faster Than A Bullet, due early 2012, PLUMB looks to a return to live performance, continued writing, and a healthy balance of a meaningful legacy and burgeoning career.  Plumb joins us on Divine Intervention to share about her faith journey, her music career, and her new single Drifting.

 Arika Johnson is the second of five children in her family. Her parents are both entrepreneurs and have groomed her from a very young age to follow in their footsteps of financial independence and entrepreneurship. Arika self-funded her first EP at the age of 15 and continues to pursue her passion for music, performing live in front of hundreds of people each month across the nation.  In 2008, at the age of 16, Arika suffered a double brain aneurysm that could very well have killed her, if not for God's providence.  Her life is a picture of faith in action and her story is one that has impacted hundreds of thousands around the world.  She joins us on Divine Intervention to share her amazing music (including her new single Another Day) and her testimony of survival, faith and triumph in the face of adversity with God's help.

On this episode of Divine Intervention we are joined by Dr. Tom Renfro.  Tom is a medical doctor (internist) from Norton, VA.  He shares the amazing story how he miraculously recovered from mantle cell lymphoma, a particularly deadly form of cancer.  Doctors gave him little hope and had no ideas as to an effective treatment for him.  With tumors all over his body, and not much time to live, Dr. Tom's story is a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together and prays, and when people believe God's Word.

She is a sought after expert on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and for national radio, television, and print interviews, nationwide.

Star has a BS degree in Marketing and Business from Woodbury University and has received numerous awards and commendations for her work on public policy issues. Kris Miller is an inspirational speaker, an estate planner, and an award-winning songwriter of Country Gospel music.  She comes from a Jewish background, had an encounter with Jesus, and decided to follow Him just like the original disciples.  She left everything behind, traveling the world as an evangelist, living by faith for over 25 years.  Eventually she was called into singing and songwriting, and got into business later in life.  Known as the "Money Maestro," Kris helps people prepare for retirement with her estate planning business.  Throughout her many years walking with Jesus she has had some amazing divine intervention experiences along the way. 

Named gospel soloist of the year 2001 In McDonald’s Gospelfest at the Westbury Music Fair, Arlethia Lindsey has a unique Gospel sound that combines opera and Jazz overtones. She was one of the first Gospel brunch artists at B.B. King’s Blues Club in Times Square and her CD 'God is Good' made the CD of the month in the Love Express Newspaper.  Arlethia has performed with Gospel groups and choirs throughout the United States and Virgin Islands. In addition, she performs as a gospel soloist at churches, nursing homes, prisons and youth rallies. Arlethia has made TV appearances on Channel 11 News, CNN, NBC's Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood and TBN Network’s PTL (Praise the Lord) show.  Her career has brought her to such international venues as Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall, Stamford Performing Arts Center, and both the MGM and Venetian Hotels in Las Vegas.  Despite all of her career success, Arlethia’s passion and true calling is to sing Gospel music and minister to people in the subways of New York City, where she is known as the "Subway Psalmist."

I recently had the honor of being the guest of Jason Dezurik of World View Warriors on his radio show, "Do Not Keep Silent."  This show is a ministry/music show that airs in Ohio and Georgia.  Jason was a wonderful host, and we had a great time talking about Jesus, miracles and Divine Interventions.  I shared my story of being miraculously healed of chronic back pain at a prayer meeting in 2001, then being healed of a massive cancerous tumor  a year later.   We talked about how God used my illness and healings to lead me into creating the Divine Intervention radio show and book series.  I also got to share the miracle testimonies of some of my friends who are featured in my books, like Pastor Charlie Pitts, who survived jumping out of an airplane and his parachutes failing to deploy, and Fred Klemm, who experienced a severe jet ski accident and saw Jesus in a vision while in a coma, and made a miraculous recovery that defied medical odds.  God is good!

Through her heartaches, trials and victories, Tamra speaks about those things she's learned on her journey: effectively dealing with stress and depression, parenting, marriage and family relationships and forgiveness, conflict resolution and anger management. Tamra has survived a horrific plane crash (the worst in 500, according to the FAA), relationship trauma and the loss of a child. I had the honor and pleasure of being the guest of Joyce Riley on her nationally syndicated radio show, "The Power Hour."  On "The Power Hour", Joyce gives her listeners powerful information and truth, generally not covered on mainstream media.  Joyce is an "outside the box" thinker, and in addition to her radio show, she has also produced some hard-hitting and thought-provoking documentary films like "911:  In Plane Site", and "Beyond Treason."  On this episode of her "feel good friday" segment, we had a blast talking about God, Jesus, Miracles and Divine Intervention.  I shared my own story of being miraculously healed of chronic back pain and lymphatic cancer, as well as some of the stories in my Divine Intervention books.  In particular, we talked about my friend Fred Klemm, who had a vision of Christ while in a coma after a severe jet-ski accident, Josh Bender, who was shot between the eyes at point blank range yet made a full recovery, and Grant Stubbs and Owen Wilson, who ran out of fuel while flying a micro-light airplane over very remote, mountainous terrain in New Zealand, and how they miraculously survived through a series of divine interventions.  Joyce also took callers who shared some of their own miracles and divine interventions.   This was a very fun and inspiring show!

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we talk about what God is doing in the prison system.  Our three special guests are Founder of Prison Fellowship and former Presidential Aide to President Nixon, Chuck Colson, current Prison Fellowship CEO Jim Liske, and prison minister Tony Loeffler of Solid Rock Ministries. 

Prison Fellowship Founder Chuck Colson

 More than 35 years ago, Charles W. Colson was not thinking about reaching out to prison inmates or reforming the U.S. penal system.  In fact, this aide to President Richard Nixon was "incapable of humanitarian thought," according to the media of the mid-1970s.  Colson was known as the White House "hatchet man," a man feared by even the most powerful politicos during his four years of service to President Nixon.

When news of Colson's conversion to Christianity leaked to the press in 1973, the Boston Globe reported, "If Mr. Colson can repent of his sins, there just has to be hope for everybody." Colson would agree. He admits he was guilty of political "dirty tricks" and willing to do almost anything for the cause of his president and his party.  In 1974, Colson entered a plea of guilty to Watergate-related charges; although not implicated in the Watergate burglary, he voluntarily pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice in the Daniel Ellsberg case.

He entered Alabama's Maxwell Prison in 1974 as a new Christian and as the first member of the Nixon administration to be incarcerated for Watergate-related charges. He served seven months of a one-to-three year sentence before being released. But Colson never really left prison. Haunted by the desperation and hopelessness he saw behind bars, Colson knew he had to do something to help the men he left behind. In fact, he had a promise to keep.

In 1976, Colson founded Prison Fellowship, which, together with churches of all confessions and denominations, has become the world's largest outreach to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families, with ministry taking place in 113 countries around the globe.

Colson sensed God's calling to comment on the culture through the written and spoken word. He has written more than 30 books, which have collectively sold more than five million copies. His autobiographical book Born Again was one of the nation's best-selling books of all genres in 1976 and was made into a feature-length film.

Colson continues to be a sought after speaker, cultural commentator and one of America's staunchest defenders of Christianity.

Prison Fellowship CEO Jim Liske

Jim Liske joined Prison Fellowship as CEO in July 2011. He comes to PF after serving for nine years as the senior pastor at Ridge Point Community Church in western Michigan.  Under Jim’s leadership, Ridge Point began a para-church organization that helps newly released prisoners deal with addiction recovery challenges, find employment, and transition back into the community.

Jim grew up on a family farm in Michigan, where he gained a strong work ethic and a firm foundation in the Christian faith. He sensed a call to full-time ministry as a young man and in 1986 earned a master’s of divinity from Denver Seminary in Denver, Colo. Since then, he has led churches and organizations in the United States and Canada.  Jim is the husband to his beloved Cathy with whom he is raising two children, Allison and Joshua.

Tony Loeffler is a singer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist. He has released 14 albums on the L&A Records label.

Taking his music message into the prisons for 38 years throughout America, Uganda, Switzerland, Ireland, England, Iceland, France, India, Canada, Iceland, Domincan Republic, Brazil, Trinidad, Bahamas, Tortolla, and Cuba, he has performed for over 900,000 inmates. His life has spanned from a "skid row” bum in Chicago, IL to receiving Presidential recognition for some of his musical works.

Tony is the president of the Solid Rock Evangelistic Association in West Palm Beach, FL, USA. He is well respected and has been interviewed on radio and TV stations throughout the world concerning his extensive work in the prisons and with the poor.

What's it like to be shot 43 times and live to tell about it?  On this episode of Divine Intervention we find out as we are joined by musician Derrick Holmes. 

Derrick has a remarkable and rocky life story that involves drug addiction, homelessness, hitting rock bottom, recovery, and then a devastating, traumatic event that would forever change his life.

In January 1998 Derrick was shot forty-three ( 43 ) times while at a bus stop in Los Angeles. As a result he lost his left leg below the knee and spent one year in the hospital and six months in physical rehab to relearn to walk.

Derrick shares his amazing story of the Lord’s protection and healing, his near complete recovery and how he is able to live a quality life pursuing his love of music while inspiring others.

I had the honor of being the guest of Rick Jordan on his show, "By The Word of Their Testimony."  Rick is an amazing guy who produces many Christian TV shows on Long Island, and he has an awesome testimony, himself, of being an alcoholic and drug addict who was on his way to commit suicide by throwing himself in front of a train when God miraculously intervened and spoke to him.  Rick interviewed me about my testimony of being miraculously healed of chronic back pain and lymphatic cancer.  We also talked about my newest book, Divine Intervention - Amazing True Stories of God's Miracles Today - Volume II, and shared some miracle stories from there and from other people we know.  It was a good time, and Rick was a wonderful host.

Had a very nice interview with Florence Calderone-Blake on her radio show, "The Trick to Getting Published."  Florence is a successful author and writing and publishing teacher.  She interviewed me about Jesus, miracles and Divine Interventions.  Flo was a wonderful host and we had a great time talking.  I got to share my testimony of being healed of chronic back pain and cancer, and how the Divine Intervention book series and radio show came about. I also shared some of my other favorite stories from my Divine Intervention books.  Some of the testimonies we talked about were of people like Josh Bender, who was shot between the eyes and made a full recovery; Kamal Saleem, who was a radical Muslim and PLO terrorist before he had an encounter with the risen Christ that totally changed his life; and Charlie Pitts, who jumped out of an airplane and both his parachutes failed to deploy, yet, miraculously he landed unharmed!

I had the honor and pleasure of being a guest on the Armstrong Williams Show to talk about Jesus, miracles and Divine Intervention!  This is a live call-in show out of Washington D.C.   It was a great time, and Armstrong and his callers asked some good questions and gave encouraging feedback.  I got to share my testimony of being healed of cancer and chronic back pain.  I also got to share the miracle stories of some of my friends, like Kamal Saleem, who was a PLO terrorist who left Islam and Jihad after having an encounter with the risen Christ, and Immaculee Ilibagiza, who miraculously survived the Rwanda genocide in 1994, and through prayer and with help from Jesus was able to forgive the people who murdered her family. On this episode of Divine Intervention we are joined by Matthew and Nancy Botsford.  In 1992, Matthew Botsford and his wife, Nancy were a young, happily married newlywed couple, with their whole lives ahead of them.  Matthew was a salesman with a promising future.  During a seemingly routine business trip to Atlanta, their world was turned upside down when Matthew was a victim of a drive by shooting that left him dead on the sidewalk with a bullet wound to the head.  Matthew’s soul actually went to hell, and he found himself in a cold, dark cell of isolation and suffering. Through a series of Divine Interventions that included a touch from Jesus and a sincere and fervent plea to God from a desperate wife, however, Matthew came back to life, literally plucked out of hell by the hand of God.  For 27 days he hovered between life and death in a coma, doctors unsure if he would ever wake up, and organ donors lining up to harvest his organs.  Miraculously, he eventually did wake up, and went on to recovery. 

In their book, "A Day In Hell: Death to Life to Hope,” the Botsfords describe Matthew’s experience of actually being in Hell, and the long hard road to recovery that followed his reawakening. Nancy and Matthew have since committed their lives to Jesus and formed “Seeds of Love Ministry” in 2004.  The Lord named their ministry “Seeds of Love” for out of their preaching and teaching Truth in a testimonial message comes many seeds of God's love along with His Divine Justice and Judgment. Their book, "A Day in Hell; Death to Life to Hope" is proving to set many free from yokes of bondages, and implant lasting Faith, Hope and Love in their Daddy and Creator God.  The Botsfords have been featured on shows like The 700 Club, The Biography Channel, I Survived, 'Death and Beyond' Series and many more.

Daniel Fazzina on Faithtalk TV 8-11.

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by Bradford John.  Bradford John was born into a seemingly normal home, but behind closed doors, it was extremely psychologically abusive, and often physically abusive as well.  This left scars that paved a road of hurt and hate in his heart.  Brad ran away from home as soon as he was able, preferring life on the streets to his abusive home life.  He got involved in drugs at a very young age, getting high every day just trying to escape the pain of his abuse.  By the age of 15 he had overdosed and tried to kill himself more times than he could remember.  He also was heavily into Witchcraft and the Occult, and his mind became obsessed with violence.  He just wanted to die, and he continually put himself into dangerous situations, and tried killing himself directly. This lifestyle led to him doing several years in prison, which only served to harden his heart even more.  When he was released in his early twenties, he continued with this destructive lifestyle, until he experienced a series of Divine Interventions, and he came to know the Love of Jesus Christ, which totally transformed his life. 

Today, Brad is a new man, and a living example of the Bible's promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 , which states, “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold all things become new.”

Camaryn has also been shaped and chiseled as a young Christian by her experiences on 15 different mission trips throughout her life, including a visit to Haiti shortly after the major earthquake that took place in 2010, where she saw first-hand the impact of music on the lives of these unfortunate orphans of a tragedy they could not understand. “All I wanted was for these kids to know how much God truly loved them,” Camaryn reflects. “I watched as God’s love spoke through the worship music and did something I couldn’t. This was my big ‘ah-ha’ moment. I thought if I, through God’s guidance, can create music that in some way expresses who He is, I can reach people in a way that words and actions on their own can’t.”

Now as a new Belmont University graduate and yearning to make an impact in the field for which she was chosen, Camaryn linked up with multi-platinum songwriter and producer Scotty Davis (“What Faith Can Do” by Kutless, “Undo” by Rush Of Fools “The Noise” by Jessie Daniels) to complete her first radio single “Heir Of A Kingdom” that will be featured on her CD to be released to the Christian Market later this year.

Cheryle Touchton, affectionately known as “The Pocket Full of Quarters Lady,” travels the country as a missionary leading people to Christ and encouraging discouraged Christians. She has no sense of direction so she often doesn’t know where she is but God always knows and leads her to where He wants her to be. She visits malls, parks, national landmarks, rural areas, downtown metropolises, homes, and churches of every Christian denomination, always with the same Good News of Jesus. In 2010, 132 strangers prayed with her to receive Jesus as their Savior. The ministry slogan for 2011 is “Give’em Heaven in 2011” and as of June of 2011, 119 people have said yes to heaven. As she travels, she hands out quarters – which represent the free grace of Christ. Having a “Pocket Full of Quarters” is a metaphor for full spiritual pockets and she shares how to fill those pockets with love. When Cheryle and her dog Belle stop for the night, Cheryle posts their moving and humorous anecdotes and photographs from the day on her web site. which reaches over 20,000 each week. She has published 5 books, The Secret to Everything, Pocket Full of Quarters - 5 Steps to Loving God, Pocket Full of Christmas - Having a Purpose Filled Advent, The Secret to Dealing With Pain and Related Depression, and Girl Gab. She is the winner of the 2006 Best Devotional Writer Award for the Florida Writers Conference. 

Cheryle and her roboticist husband Bob live in State College, Pennsylvania in what Cheryle calls The Ginger Bread House. They also spend a lot of time in Jacksonville, Florida, where their parents, siblings, nephews, children, and grandchildren live. Cheryle and Bob worship together at Calvary Baptist Church in State College and Chets Creek in Jacksonville, Florida.     On this episode of Divine Intervention, we welcome Pastor Jimmy Jack.  Jimmy Jack grew up as the youngest of nine children in a household devastated by drug abuse and violence. The world labeled him as an outcast who would never change, but God had a better plan for his life. After graduating from Brooklyn Teen Challenge in 1985 (a Christ-centered drug and alcohol rehabilitation program), and Central Bible College in 1989, the Lord led Jimmy and his wife Miriam to establish a Teen Challenge coffeehouse outreach (Freedom Outreach) in Long Island to reach others whose lives had been ravaged by drugs and alcohol. This became Long Island Teen Challenge, which now has five residential homes.

    Then in 1992, he pioneered Freedom Chapel, a church birthed out of compassion, to disciple the many hurting young people who had given their lives to the Lord through the residential homes of Long Island Teen Challenge, outreaches, and evangelism crusades. Today, both ministries are thriving under Jimmy’s leadership. More recently, he has founded Teen Challenge centers in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and Albany, New York and is the Director of Brooklyn Teen Challenge along with Don Wilkerson. Jimmy and his wife Miriam have three precious, multi-talented, God-loving children—David, Dionnza, and Dominique.

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by musician, entertainer and author, Harris Haith.   The name Harris “The Total Entertainer” Haith has been heard in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Mr. Haith has been involved in various different entities throughout his illustrious career. Starting out as a song writer, his first song made the Top 40 Billboard Chart. As a recording artist his first solo record, "Show Me the Way," also made the charts. This only served to whet his appetite for the entertainment business. He then progressed into the artist management end of things and even had a stint as a stand-up comedian! Ultimately, writing was in his blood so he refocused on his first love and began to write books, screenplays and scored within the nation's top three percentile on the National Writers Institute exam. His book “Growing Up Laughing”, which gives a detailed account of his childhood growing up with legendary actor/comedian Eddie Murphy, was well received. Being a man of deeply rooted faith, Harris has an international Gospel festival in development entitled “Gospelthon."  Launched in the summer of 2010, this festival unites renowned Gospel musical guests and ministries for one day of free music, holistic care and fun all in the name of Christ for the sake of reaching the unchurched.  Harris Haith joins us on Divine Intervention to share about his life, career, faith, and the miraculous sequence of events through which God saw him through kidney failure.

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by Scott Mason.

Scott Mason was raised in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. On the surface, he had everything going for him: his mom attended a prestigious law school, while his step-father owned a successful electrical company. For family vacations, they traveled to locations such as London, Amsterdam and Denmark. His mom was strict, but fair, and only wanted the best for her son.  After being kicked out of three different high schools over a period of two years, education was not his top priority.

At 19, Scott was introduced to a whole new life, a life that was filled with drugs, alcohol, sex and theft.

Over a 13 year period, Scott became addicted to cocaine, meth, marijuana, alcohol, and thievery. Due to the alcohol and drug use, he decided that his life was out of control and needed to end, and he did try to commit suicide.  He would have succeeded if not for a divine intervention that saved his life. 

Overall, Scott was committed to 2 psychiatric hospitals, arrested over 25 times (2 times by S.W.A.T.) appeared before 15 judges in 12 courts, tried and convicted of 36 felonies, spent 10 years in 16 prisons where he became a ranking gang member for a powerful prison gang. One night while attending an event in a prison chapel Scott's life was forever changed.

In this episode of Divine Intervention, Scott tells of a time where drugs, alcohol, sex, attempted suicide, crime and prison ruled his life, and how two men - one who hung on a cross for him and the other doing life in prison completely changed his life.

Today, Scott Mason travels the country speaking to high schools, universities, churches, prisons and organizations about his life: the effects of drugs, alcohol, sex, peer pressure, crime and suicide. In 2008, Scott began working in Los Angeles, CA, speaking to entertainment industry professionals through Johnson/Edwards Entertainment.     On this episode of Divine Intervention we welcome artist and evangelist Max Greiner. 

    Artist, Max Greiner, Jr. is somewhat a rarity today.  He is a “Renaissance Man” in that he has achieved professional success in a variety of creative disciplines.  Most Artists limit themselves to only one or two areas of concentration during their lifetime.  However, Max’s creative areas have included: drawing, painting, sculpture, product design, graphic design, photography, writing, architecture and landscape architecture.  He has worked in most mediums and styles, including Realism, Impressionism, Expressionism, “Kitsch” Surrealism and Pop Art.  However, the vast majority of his life's work has been Representational.

    Greiner’s art is collected in all 50 states and in over 24 countries.  His work is in the collections of Popes, Presidents, Governors, Captains of business and sports, music and TV stars. Max’s artwork has helped raise millions of dollars for charities, Christian colleges and ministries.

    In the mid eighties, Max and his artwork underwent a dramatic transition as a result of several supernatural encounters with God.  Today, Max’s art is focused on the Creator, not just His creation.  Greiner now uses his God-given gifts, talents and abilities to lift up Jesus Christ before the world.

    I had the honor of being the guest of Dr. Jim Brettell on his talk show, The Dr. Jim show out of Arkansas.  Dr. Jim is an evangelist and theologian who describes himself as, "to the right of Jerry Falwell religiously, and to the right of Rush Limbaugh politically."  With a descrition like that, it should be no surprise that Dr. Jim and I got deep into theology on this episode, as he asked me some of the most in-depth and thought-provoking questions I have gotten yet.  Dr. Jim is a true scholar, gentleman, and follower of Jesus.  I also had a chance to share my own testimony of faith and miraculous healings as well.

    On this episode of Divine Intervention, we welcome missionary to Fortaleza, Brazil, Alex Piagetti.

    This episode will demonstrate how a person can change from having a criminal mind, to having the mind of Christ.  Alex shares his gripping story of going from a crime and drug-filled youth, that involved burglary, robbery, drug trafficking and violence, to ending up in prison in Miami.  It was behind bars that Alex was finally set free when through a series of divine interventions, he met his Lord and Savior Jesus while serving a 15 year sentence for drug trafficking and conspiracy to traffic cocaine. The Holy Spirit started teaching him the Bible, and while attending a Kairos weekend in prison, a couple from Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale stood out to him from among the 50 different churches attending. He saw them as walking Biblical characters.

    Alex and his family have now been attending Calvary Chapel Miami Beach for 10 ½ years, and he has served as an usher and has hosted Bible studies in his home for 7 years. He has been leading missions trip to Brazil for the past 3 ½ years.  Alex is now being ordained as a Calvary Chapel Pastor.  He and his family are moving to Brazil in the summer of 2011 to be a full time missionaries,  working with the children of the slums in the north east region of Brazil. Through his ministry, For the Children, Brazil,  they plan to disciple the children and their parents to a closer walk with Jesus and also to plant churches in those communities.

    Robby saw first hand the good the bad and the ugly of automobile service, parts, sales and finance business, and now The Lord has provided him with a chance to help folks around the world. 

    The Christian Car Guy Radio Show is syndicated nationally on 22 radio stations with live streaming on the internet and podcasting available on ITunes and over 30 other outlets. His 30 second helpful tips feature, Stayin on The Highway is now also syndicated. 

    Robby has also been interviewed for the Christian Car Guy perspective across hundreds of other radio outlets including the Fox Radio Network, Financial Life Line, The G. Gordon Liddy, and Lars Larson radio shows even a National TV appearance on Fox and Friends. 

    Robby has been married 22 years to his wife Tammy and has three Children, Robby III, Tess and Mariah, they are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston Salem

    On this episode of Divine Intervention, Robby shares how, after a visiting pastor prayed for him at his car dealership, he was miraculously healed of a rare form of cancer that left boils and sores all over his body.   There were only three known cases of this disease recorded in the U.S., and the other two patients did not live more than three months.  In Robby's case, the Lord intervened when a man prayed for him.  In addition to this amazing story, Robby also tells of how God restored him after his leg was crushed between two trucks.  Robby also shares some of his top tips on car buying and maintenance, and how people can live as a "Four Stroke Christian."

    I had the honor of being a guest on "In the Arena" on NETNY, New York City's Catholic TV Channel.  I was a panelist along with author and musician Harris Haith.  Harris is Eddie Murphy's cousin, and wrote the book, "Growing Up Laughing with Eddie Murphy."  We both shared our perspectives on miracles and divine interventions with the hosts, Jane Hanson and Msgr.  Harrington.  I shared about my recovery from cancer and about my back being healed at a prayer meeting, and Harris spoke about his battle with kidney failure.  The hosts asked great questions, it was a lively and encouraging show, and I had a blast.

    On this episode of Divine Intervention, we welcome journalist and musician, Lauren Green to the show.

    Lauren Green serves as a religion correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC). Prior to this, Green served as a news anchor for "FOX & Friends," where she provided daily news updates for the irreverent morning program. Prior to joining FNC in 1996, Green served as a weekend news anchor and correspondent at WBBM-TV (CBS) in Chicago. From 1988 to 1993, she was a general assignment reporter at KSTP-TV (ABC) in St. Paul, Minnesota.

    Outside of her career at FNC, Green is well known as a concert pianist with a degree in piano performance from The University of Minnesota. She has interviewed some of the most prominent people in the classical music world including Placido Domingo, Pierre Boulez, Joshua Bell and has covered such events as the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and opening night of The Metropolitan Opera. Green has given several solo recitals and performed in small ensembles. In 2004, she released her debut CD, "Classic Beauty."

    A graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Green was named Miss Minnesota in 1984 and was the third runner-up in the 1985 Miss America contest.

    On this episode of Divine Intervention, we focus on what God is doing in Hollywood and the entertainment industry, as we are joined by two actors, Kevin Sorbo and Jenn Gotzon.

             KEVIN SORBO

    Kevin Sorbo has enjoyed success on television for over 20 consecutive years, a feat rarely accomplished by an actor.

    Sorbo quickly rose to stardom in the title role of the hit series, “Hercules, the Legendary Journeys”. The immense popularity of the 5 initial 2-hour telefilms in 1993 resulted in the launch of a weekly series by 1994. The series not only became a breakout hit by becoming the number one first-run program in syndication, it also passed “Baywatch” as the most watched TV show in the world. The innovative action hour revitalized the entire action/adventure genre on television and fostered two spin-off series, “Xena, Warrior Princess”, and “Young Hercules”. Sorbo also directed two episodes of the show, and co-wrote one installment.

    Following the success of “Hercules”, Sorbo went on to star in the lead role of “Captain Dylan Hunt” in “Gene Roddenberry’s, Andromeda”. The series, based upon writings from the late “Star Trek” creator’s archives, debuted as the number one hour show in first run syndication and held that spot throughout it’s five year run from 2000-2005.

    More recently, Kevin starred in the film, "What If," for which he won the Movieguide Award for "Most Inspirational Performance."

    Kevin Joins us on Divine Intervention to share about his career, his faith, and how the Lord spoke to him and healed him after he suffered a near fatal brain anuerism that doctors said should have killed him or at least ended his acting career.

 

                                JENN GOTZON

    Actress JENN GOTZON is a small-town girl who has big dreams of making a difference in people's lives. Raised in the suburbs of Allentown, PA, GOTZON has persistently pursued her passion for film acting to play complex characters who find hope in the climax of the storyline. She began performing right out of high school, appearing in murder mystery dinner theater, entertaining at Walt Disney World and competing in the Miss America pageant system.

    After studying at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, GOTZON moved to Los Angeles and landed a string of bit parts in big productions like Ang Lee's HULK, Sundance pleaser 500 DAYS OF SUMMER, Sean William Scott starrer ROLE MODELS along with Emmy-winning TV series PUSHING DAISIES and HOUSE. Big parts in smaller productions came her way, too, including 168 Film Festival 2008 best film winner STAINED that earned her the fest's best actress award for her lead role as a political prisoner in a futuristic society. At the 2008 Wildwood By-The-Sea (NJ) Film Festival she was named Rising Star of the year for her leading lady turn in the speed-dating romantic comedy short CHEMISTRY whose fest director Paul Russo described GOTZON as "having the acting depth of Kate Winslet and the charisma of Reese Witherspoon."

    The Pennsylvania native got her big break, ironically, on Pennsylvania Avenue in Ron Howard's 2009 best picture Oscar nominee FROST/NIXON, playing the president's daughter Tricia Nixon. Since then, GOTZON’s dream has started to come true, beginning with her portraying heroine Beatrice alongside Eric Roberts as her love Dante in docudrama DANTE’S INFERNO DOCUMENTED based on the legendary The Divine Comedy. Last year, she starred in five feature films (in chron order): romantic mystery-drama DOONBY opposite "The Dukes of Hazzard" star John Schneider; political-thriller DRAGON DAY about a Chinese cyber-takeover of the U.S.; French and Indian War drama ALONE YET NOT ALONE, in which she plays an historical British captive; faith-based musical SEPTEMBER SKIES; and family-friendly comedic-drama GODS COUNTRY, directed by her husband Chris Armstrong and set to be distributed by Sony.
   

    This March, GOTZON commences principal photography on the spoken word poetry slam drama THE DIARY OF BABINEAUX in Austin, TX. Currently, she and her writer-director-Super-Bowl-commercial-finalist hubby are working on a New Orleans action-thriller about the significance of life produced by their production company Elysian Pictures and Brown Pelican Films. All are socially relevant films that endeavor to make a difference in people's lives.

    GOTZON’s ultimate passion is impacting and inspiring audiences through the message behind the roles she plays. With this goal, she developed a motivational mentor-outreach program, "Inspiring Audiences," through which she speaks to students, screens her movies and shares her testimony on overcoming life’s obstacles with prayer and perseverance in hopes to encourage them to find their passion in life and live their dreams.

    Jenn shares on Divine Intervention her own testimony of faith, how God has moved in her life, and about her role in the upcoming inspirational movie, Doonby with John Schneider.

    I had the honor of being a guest on the "What's in Your Hand?" radio show with host Ricky Young on New York's WHCR 90.3 FM.  This is a success/motivational show where Ricky interviews success authors, entrepreneurs, millionaires and high achievers with the goal of inspiring the audience to use what he calls their "TAGS" (Talents, Abilities, Gifts & Skills.)  We had a great time talking about Divine Interventions, miracles, service to fellow man, and leadership.  Ricky is a fun host who incorporates a lot of Gospel music into his show, and also inspirational quotes and sermons from great preachers like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Adam Clayton Powell.  He also interviewed on this show Brandon Hughes, author of the new book, "The Man Behind the Curtain."
