sweet zoe is growing and growing!  she came over saturday with her new christmas outfit!! and then she had a little tutu to wear as well!!  she was just yummy and will be the cutest present this christmas! :)

 
 
 
 

we were finally able to have a day that our schedules worked and the weather cooperated! when you have a busy family and working parents, things can get a little crazy. i am so glad we were able to work things out and wait for a beautiful sunny afternoon! you have a beautiful family (not only that but you both are EXCELLENT cooks!!)  congrats on your soon to be - new addition, ann you look beautiful! here is your sneak peak and thanks for waiting patiently!!

 
 
 
 
 
 

 a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e.  these little girls have grown so much since last summer!

i had a blast chasing them around on our sunny fall morning this week.  these girls are sweet and FAST! and they brought their ever so cute parents too! i wonder where olivia gets such sparkly blue eyes????  i always love watching you guys interact. the way you just enjoy being together and having fun. not to mention  the way you 2 can still laugh and kiss, even with the two sweet little girls on your shoulders! you are talented!!

the cook family! i remember the first time i met carmen for coffee, it was friendship from the start. i have the good fortune of living close enough that we even ventured some early morning walks for a while. we have loved getting to know ricky and carmen as a couple and as a family and we count you guys great friends. thanks for hanging out with me and trusting me to get some pictures of your beautiful family!

this is my second time to photograph the nichols family.  i love repeats. :) 

kaylee is my little buddy, her big beautiful eyes and curly hair. she has gotten so tall since last summers photos. last year it was swing sets and her tricycle. this year she was sporting her blue sunglasses just like a very big girl!!  and last year it was just kaylee and her mom and dad. this time we got to include riley. i loved watching those two interact. and riley is walking already? time flies.  i get to hang out with that cutie on sunday mornings in the nursery at church. i always love to see what new outfit she is sporting.  little girls are so fun to dress up!

oh and kaylee and riley brought their ultra sweet and adorable mom and dad with them.  i love watching you guys with each other and your girls. these are the moments to cherish - before the boys are knocking on your door and they still want to hold your hand when they are walking. when they can laugh and run and play and everything can be made ok when they get some m&m's.  oh wait, that still works for me! :)  and kaylee, thanks for sharing your m&m's with miss mandy.

thanks jk and kate for being adventerous and hiking out in the woods with me! your family is beautiful, your girls are yummy and i loved chasing them around. i love the way you guys interact with your girls and each other. i was having flashbacks to alivia and claire at that age and i cant believe how fast time goes by. it is so sweet to watch you guys together and i am happy to say, we did get a few of all of you together!! :)

 
 

i have been looking forward to my session with ian, holly and their boys since august.  we chose to have their session as a start to fall break, thinking gorgeous weather and leaves.......  well- i had a gorgeous family to photograph but....... we did it in the rain!  talk about troopers!!  i am glad we went ahead and went for it, you guys look great and holly- your highlights are rocking!! hope you had a great vacation!! thanks so much for hanging out!!

thank you to the wolfgangs for hanging out on saturday! you guys are beautiful inside and out!!  it started out a chilly morning but the rain held off for us (YEAH) and i had a great time with your sweet family. i loved watching you guys interact with each other and your kiddos, the ducks, the umberellas, the scooter, the silly faces.....the love you have for your family SHOWS!! :)  i hope you enjoyed your ice cream at my favorite place - maggie moos!!
