In an exclusive Facebook communication with Derek Broes from Efusjon, Ty Tribble from MLM Blog posed the following questions:

Derek Broes: "I never said I invented Skype. People in MLM create the lies. not me."

Derek Broes: "My company is a development company that writes software and we are a facebook approved developer. We are not partners because we don't need to be. Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO) and I did not meet and discuss efusjon...efusjon is simply using the open platform API's that facebook provides to build applications to launch in facebook."

Commentary: Do a quick search and see how many Efusjon reps are misleading people into thinking that there is some kind of partnership with Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook and Efusjon.

Derek Broes: "No 400 Msft (Microsoft) engineers and NOT 400. We are not building Microsoft windows. Some engineers may have worked at msft but no Msft is not partnered nor did I hire Msft."

Microsoft invest in Facebook because of Efusjon?

Derek Broes: "NO Msft did not invest in facebook because of efusjon."

When questioned about income claims, Mr. Broes wraps up by saying: 

"I cannot disclose specific about earning but I can say there are many people paying bills and yes some are buying homes and cars. Yes I was a partner with skype and helped launch it through a company I ran called Altnet/ Kazaa Yes I was an executive at Microsoft Yes I was SVP at Paramount and NOT VP."

I stumbled upon a network marketing opportunity called Tampogo this morning while trying to get to the bottom of the so-called iJango scam.

 You can check it out at Tampogo.com.

It seems to be identical to iJango and it doesn't cost anything to join. And you don't have to sit through a black & white video of an earnest huckster - Cameron Sharpe - claiming he had the original idea to "network" Google.

Tampogo and iJango are so similar their respective Terms & Conditions are almost identical. They must share the same legal team. They certainly share the same destiny.

Yesterday Ty blogged about the so-called iJango scam and how it was similar to AGLOCO. As a former Director of Sales at one of the top MLM Leads companies in the industry I've spoken to thousands and thousands of Network Marketing and MLM Professionals and I can still remember the hype and lies surrounding AGLOCO. And then the eventual collapse...

I just hope people aren't duped into this latest get-rich-quick-scheme called iJango from Cameron Sharpe and Steve Smith. With the state of the economy these days the $150 it takes to get started could buy a lot of food and essentials.

The iJango scam is a lot like a game of Jenga - it's fun and exciting to begin with but it's not over until the pieces fall down. iJango!

Yahoo Inc. has been sued by Mary Kay Cosmetics over unauthorized links inserted into e-mail messages, according to a report Thursday.

Online Media Daily reported that a lawsuit filed in federal court in Dallas said e-mails advertising Mary Kay products are inserted by users into e-mails from unauthorized re-sellers and other competitors.

If it was a bad idea the first time around, it’s probably a bad idea the second time around too. Mike was harsh on AGLOCO, a variation of the failed AllAdvantage pyramid scheme from a few years ago, when he wrote about their launch. He was right to question the business - they’re closing down. The following email was sent to at least some AGLOCO members:

And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. AGLOCO is the reincarnation of AllAdvantage (complete with some of the same founders), a Web 1.0 company that paid users for viewing advertising through a toolbar. The founders, who blamed the stock crash in 2000 for the AllAdvantage faiure, claimed they’d get it right this time around. In particular, the ability to highly target advertising would allow them to generate enough revenue for a sustainable business.

Apparently they were wrong. AGLOCO joins the TechCrunch Deadpool.

Meet a Farsley woman who has been Avon calling for almost half a century. When Mollie Bradley sold her first Avon lipsticks she was a mum with a young son trying to earn a bit of extra cash – and the Beatles were beginning to take the world by storm.

Today she is 79 years old, her son Paul is aged 50 and the Beatles have long become history – but Mollie is still selling Avon cosmetics. Mollie has been Avon calling for forty five years and is one of the company's longest-serving representatives.

Herbalife receives approval for additional direct-selling licenses in China Co announces that China's Ministry of Commerce has granted five additional licenses for the company to conduct direct-selling business in the provinces of Fujian, Shan'Xi, Sichuan, Hubei, and Shanghai.

All licenses are effective immediately, except Shanghai, which will be activated after the company opens its service outlets. Additionally, the company's license for Beijing, which was granted in July 2008 with the same exception as noted above for Shanghai, is now active.
