Gotta love a good piggyback ride.

I bet you are wondering what this has to do with marketing your business and making money online…

There is a strategy I teach that was worked extremely well for me over the years…I call it piggybacking. But we are not giving each other piggyback rides (fun as that sounds) I am talking about piggybacking off of successful product and system launches.

Think back to Jonathan Budd’s last product launch called “Futuristic Marketing”. I believe I was 9th or 10th place in the affiliate contest (of a product that did nearly $2 million).

That itself is pretty cool.

I made a nice check and got to speak on stage on Jonathan’s Unstoppable event in San Diego. But the biggest reward that I got for promoting Futuristic Marketing was the list that I built by piggybacking on Jonathan’s launch.

It’s simple really…

Basically you create content and/or advertising centered around the product launch and then you capture the leads in your own squeeze page before sending them on to the affiliate links for the product.

It works extremely well when you hit a hot product launch (more on that tomorrow).

It seems in life we have 4 big ambitions…

I believe that if you are building a ship to sail the seas, you surely need a plan.

(Like I give my students who are looking to develop a successful business using the Internet.)

In addition to the plan, we need motivation.

People aren’t motivated to build a ship because of “the plans”.

We are motivated by the thought of what it will be like to sail on the open seas….with the warm breeze in our face, the dolphins following along and jumping just off the bow of the boat as it moves through the crystal blue ocean.

We are motivated by what can be, not by how it gets done.

So here is a great exercise that you can do to get you in the right frame frame of mind and focus on your business…it’s something I am stating to do with my coaching students.

As your business grows, what will you do in each of the 4 life ambition areas?

How will you begin to fulfill your life’s ambitions?

Write it down.

Author: ‘Double Your Income with Network Marketing’

This could be an ugly legal precedent for those who chose to get involved with suspect companies posing as legitimate Network Marketing  businesses.

If you make money, be prepared to give it back or face court action.

According to a letter sent to net-winners, “the time for court action is drawing near”.

The letter from the court appointed receiver, Kenneth D Bell goes on to say:

“To allow a reasonable time for all those who would like to pursue a settlement to do so, I am going to continue to make my team available to negotiate settlements for at least 60 more days.  Therefore, if net winners want to pursue a settlement they should contact us by no later than May 31, 2013. After that date, I will assume that all net-winners that want to avoid the legal process by discussing settlement have done so, and I will move forward with court action, likely in June 2013, against net-winners.”

In the complaint filed by Zapala S.A., a Panamanian corporation registered in the Public Registry of Panama, represented by Ivan Flores Fernando Zuñiga, against LEOW SUN SENG and other responsible parties, for the alleged commission of crime against company assets: 1) Fraudulent misappropriation of equity in the administration of a legal entity; and 2) Criminal conspiracy committed against the Public Good.

FINDINGS:

Defendant LEOW SUN SENG, Malaysian citizen with passport Number A24778610, residing in: No 3, Susuran Shabab Shabab Perdana, Lebuhraya Sultanah Baniyah, 05150 Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia, and with registered address in Panama being Calle Aquilino de Ia Guardia No. 8, IGRA Building, PO Box 0823-02435, Panama, Panama, is the agent of record for GANO EXCEL SAC a Peruvian business entity founded in 2006 and dedicated to the importation, distribution, wholesaling and retailing of coffee combined with “ganoderma lucidum”, natural or synthetic, through multilevel marketing, Unilaterally, without authorization and / or power of attorney, LEOW SUN SENG transferred, on November 14 th of 2010, 432 of the 437 shares issued to Peruvian entity GANO EXCEL SAC by sister company GANO EXCEL SA (a Colombian business entity) to GANO RISING CORP (a Panamanian business entity), owned by LEOW SUN SENG.

Doing so without proper notice or the necessary authority to take such action constitutes an act of conspiracy against the greater good of Peruvian entity GANO EXCEL SAC shareholders, in that to date LEOW SUN SENG has failed to reinstate the shares illicitly misappropriated and transferred to GANO RISING CORP. As a result of LEOW SUN SENG’s actions, the Peruvian entity GANO EXCEL SAC went from holding 88% of the shares issued by Colombian entity GANO EXCEL SA, to holding 1% of the shares. LEOW SUN SENG’s unauthorized transfer was further done without remuneration to shareholders at market value, so shares were transferred well below face value.

Once the shares in Colombian entity GANO EXCEL SA were transferred to GANO RISING CORP, LEOW SUN SENG began to hire Malaysian staff in the Colombian entity in order to strategically place them in key positions where they were provided with a number of questionable benefits used to justify the withdrawal of cash from the company. Also the defendant LEOW SUN SENG had Colombian entity GANO EXCEL SA sign a false trademark license agreement with yet another company belonging to the accused LEOW SUN SENG identified as GANO EXCEL INDUSTRIAS OF BRUNEI, by which the Brunei entity licensed the trademarked GANO EXCEL brand to the Colombian entity so they
could claim the right to market the GANO EXCEL branded products in Colombia without proper approval of the Peruvian entity GANO EXCEL SAC which holds title to those rights.

The Peruvian entity GANO EXCEL SAC was deceived by LEOW SUN SENG who committed fraud by never informing the shareholders of the Peruvian entity of his actions and abused his authority as its legal agent by failing to act in the best interests of the Colombian entity GANO EXCEL SA. As for the crime of fraud and misappropriation of equity in the administration of a legal entity, LEOW SUN SENG abused his status as legal agent with the sole intent of harming
the aggrieved Colombian entity by obtaining cash benefits surreptitiously. Finally, regarding criminal conspiracy, it is evident that to commit these criminal acts, the accused acted in collusion with third parties. His actions were organized and structured to achieve his purpose, which was none other than to transfer assets from the aggrieved Peruvian entity into the Colombian entity where he simultaneously assumed control while acting as agent.

LEXINGTON (AP) — A court-ordered report shows the top two executives of a Lexington company accused of running a pyramid scheme made almost $40 million in the last few years.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports the document also shows almost all independent representatives for Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing made less than $1,000 per year in commissions.Federal authorities shut down the company’s operations in January, alleging it was an illegal pyramid scheme because it rewarded representatives more for recruiting than for selling products.Attorney Stephen Amato, who represents the company, denied that it was running a pyramid scheme. Amato said Fortune Hi-Tech was a legitimate business.

“Fortune was not operating as a pyramid scheme and in our opinion, Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing was operating a safe and legal business in the marketplace,” he said.

The report says founder Paul Orberson received $21.2 million in salary and dividends since 2007 and CEO Thomas Mills made $18.1 million in the same time frame.“Other shareholders, many of whom appear to be family members of either Mr. Orberson or Mr. Mills, received approximately $9.5 million in dividends and salary,” the report states.Meanwhile, the report said 98 percent of representatives got less than $1,000 a year and 74 percent received less than $10 annually. -

For people who have been around a while doing any internet marketing understands this secret. This is the ONE thing that every marketer needs to be doing if they want to truly succeed in their business. What is it? What is this super not-so-secret secret?

List-building.

Getting people to give you their email information so you can add them to your newsletter is one of the most crucial steps in converting traffic into actual money in your pocket. Having a list gives you the ability to literally pull traffic to any site you want at the push of the button.

So how do you start building a list?

As many of you know, I promote blogging as a core strategy for building your mlm business. Content marketing is hailed as the main strategy corporations are using to reach their target audience in 2013 and on. Content has always been king, it is just getting recognized more.

Knowing this, all you need to do is make sure you have plenty of options for your readers to subscribe to your newsletter. If your content is good, people will want to subscribe to learn more. Your job is making it as easy as possible for your reader to subscribe.

I personally recommend using pop-ups, in content opt-ins and the traditional opt-ins. The best service I have found for growing my list using this  method is Hybrid Connect which you can check out here.
