MyShowroom.TV Studio version 1 launched!

Yeah, in the post months we've worked on many areas of the service and since we've added in a tons of new functions, fine tuned the service based on the users feedback for months, we've released version 1.

What is included here? We will write about the detailed instructions in the following days, but a summarised list of the updated parts are here:

MSN is added to the account types list
Remote Broadcast Function
Station Management (up to 5 different stations) in remote mode
Auto-Broadcast based on a pre-scheduled time
Access Code feature helps you to protect your shows from the World

German version launched!

A few months passed and we've not posted anything on the blog. In this time frame we've developed many things for MyShowroom.TV, which we will share in the following days.

In the meantime, did you know that MyShowroom.TV has a German version too? We've added this new local version a little earlier but some of you may not noticed that. Well we love people in Germany and hope the new local version will makes them happy ;)

With this addition we cover the large part of Western Europe.

If you have any questions regarding the localisation please do not hesitate to share it with us.

Embed player function updated to support chat

We had embed functionality before both for live and recorded shows. But we did not had an embed function where you could embed your channel with a chat and your recorded shows.

We've updated MyShowroom.TV embed function. Now you can embed the standalone live player to your site or embed a player which plays your live shows, has a chat functionality and able to playback pre-recorded shows. We've tweaked on it a little. As you can see on the screenshot below you have many color schemes to use now. So if your page is clean white or darker or just colorful you can pick a color scheme which fits the best and the embed player will appear in that color.

Once you picked a color scheme click on the "preview" link to see how your embed player will look like. And as before when you're ok with it, just copy the code and add it to your page. From that time the player with all the great function will work. If you record a show that will appear on the recorded shows tab in the embed player.

Also the embed player now uses multi-languages!

Broadcast Quality

In many cases the default broadcast quality could be too much for your bandwidth. For example if you're on the road with a mobile Internet where the signal strength is not the best you will run out of it and the broadcast will stop. There's an opposite side when you're on a cable and you have more bandwidth you could do a higher quality stream too.

MyShowroom.TV launched a new function where you can change the quality of your broadcast anytime. To do this just go to your profile settings page on the website. There's the Broadcast Quality menu where you can change these settings. Make sure you restart MyShowroom.TV Studio after the change as the tool need to sync up again with the server.

For those who need only a tool to broadcast their desktop (presentation) in a better quality we have an option now. This quality setting works only with the desktop broadcast, but there provide much better quality for readability.

Statistics, statistics...

A few weeks ago we've updated the statistical functions on MyShowroom.TV. Since we've had many request from our broadcasters to show more data on usage and viewer numbers. We've heard that and the statistical functions are there now for everyone. Where you find them?

If you go to the profile settings page there's a statistics menu on the right hand side. On this page you will find a historical overview on your past activity. You can sort them by date of course. You will get a great overview how much live and recorded views you had on every shows.

There's a detailed view on each shows. If you click on the "statistics" link next to any of your shows name you will get a popup (see below). The popup will gives you a detailed statistical overview on a specific show.

We hope you will like this new statistical function and will help you to make more exciting programs in the future based on the feedback of your viewers.

MyShowroom.TV Italian version launched

Not so long ago we've announced the Spanish version of MyShowroom.TV website. A month after the Spanish localised site and after a few weeks of testing we've launched MyShowroom.TV Italian version.

We're so excited about a new language version. So from now, if you're coming from Italy, you will get automatically the Italian language site.

We hope you will enjoy it and please do not hesitate to send us any feedback if you have.
