Here's an article from my local newspaper on the subject of immigration.  I have heard many stories from clients, potential clients and others.  I don't know what is more heartbreaking.   Being separated from your child or risking being raped by a coyote on your return trip after being deported from the U.S.

There are good people in the United States who are undocumented workers.  They just want the American dream like we all do.  Hopefully immigration reform will give them a chance.

I love this man's story.  Jose Hernandez, born of Mexican immigrant parents, becomes an astronaut after twelve years of applying and years of rejections.  In 2004, he was finally accepted into the space program. 

What is the secret to his success and something we can all take away for our own kids?  A good education and parents who forced him to study, who checked his homework and stayed involved in his schooling.

The moral of the story at the link below - Don't Participate In Marriage Fraud.  Even if the U.S. authorities don't find out, your illegal plans for immigration relief may result in some unintended consequences.  In any case, if immigration authorities ever DO find out you received an immigration benefit based on fraud -- you could have the benefit revoked.   So, if you eventually became a U.S. citizen via green card from a fraudulent marriage to a U.S. citizen, you could lose your citizenship.
