        <title>Chris Hughes, from Facebook to Obama (or the difference between USA and Italy)</title>

        <summary>I' ve just read this article by Brian Stelter on the New York Times about Chris Hughes, a guy who after co-founding Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg, left the job to develop Barack Obama's Web presence. It's not jsut interesting the story itself, it also offers some incredible differences between USA and Italy. In his early twenties Hughes 1) co-founded what's now a multi-billion company, 2) he truly believes in a politician and 3) he developed Obama's Web presence in such a way that it' s been critical to the candidate's success so far. It's sad to realize once more that none of this three elements can be even remotly achieved here in Italy. p.s. I would like to end this post in a different way, but this is the only one that comes to my mind</summary>

        <summary>Crowdosourcing started to appear on newspaper and massively adopted by almost every technology journalist after Jeff Howe's article "The rise of crowdsourcing" appeared on Wired in 2006. Reading the article now, a couple of things got my attention. First, I heard about InnoCentive, one of the companies described by Howe, in 2003 (I still have my class notes from that Innovation Management lesson...) but at the time my professor use to call it "Innomediator" . Second, it' s strange how sometimes visions of the future seems to completly forget about the past. The article tells us about Michael Hirschorn, executive vice president of original programming and production at VH1, and it goes: &gt; Now that sounds cool: TV2.0, user-generated component...Well, maybe the buzzword hit just on 2006 but in 1990 we were already seeing the future!!!</summary>

        <summary>Ho appena iniziato a leggere "The Best of Technology Writing 2007" curato da Steven Levy. Come dice il titolo stesso è una raccolta dei migliori articoli di tecnologia apparsi nel 2006. Nell' epoca del giornalismo dal basso, dei blogger che arrivano sulle notizie prima dei media tradizionali, Levy fin dall' introduzione ci tiene a precisare che nonostante alcuni degli articoli selezionati siano in effetti apparsi su webzine sconosciute, i migliori lavori rimangono quelli scritti per i grandi nomi (v. Wired, Salon, NYTimes, New Yorker, ecc.). In effetti, pur essendo io stesso un vorace divoratore di informazione assorbita quotidianamente dal web, devo dire che è bello ogni tanto poter leggere articoli come questi. Per altro il supporto cartaceo rende possibile la funzione "sottolinea". Nei prossimi post quindi, segnalo il link ai vari articoli che leggerò. Lo so niente supporto cartaceo ma almeno è garantita la qualità del contenuto.
