We will then collect trash for 45 minutes or an hour and meet up again around 10:00 for coffee and refreshments. We hope to see you there.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

As exciting as this new freedom may be for a teen, studies have shown that the first six months after obtaining a license is the most dangerous period of time for any driver. <p><font size="3">According to the Arizona Affiliate of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, kids are more likely to experiment with drugs due to boredom, spending time with friends who use drugs or too much unsupervised time throughout the summer months. In June and July alone, there was a startling 40 percent increase nationally in the number of youth who tried marijuana for the first time compared to the rest of the year. Even though we are through the summer months, we still need to be diligent about the dangers affecting our kids....... </font></p>

&lt;li class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-FAMILY: &amp;#39;Arial&amp;#39;,&amp;#39;sans-serif&amp;#39;"&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;Maintenance of the South side of Hualapai is the responsibility of Iron Wood HOA (the property owner).&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160; &lt;/span&gt;There are two exceptions on the south side of Hualapai, the first is Lot #125 which is City owned and maintained, the second is the far east end of Hualapai which is owned and maintained by the Toscana HOA.&lt;strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-FAMILY: &amp;#39;Arial&amp;#39;,&amp;#39;sans-serif&amp;#39;"&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;As noted in paragraph 2 above, individual property owners are responsible for maintenance up to the curb.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&amp;#0160; &lt;/span&gt;This includes clearing street corners so drivers can clearly see cross traffic at intersections.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160; &lt;/span&gt;A number of intersections have trees and other growth blocking view of cross street traffic.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160; &lt;/span&gt;Just two examples are 90&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; Street and Havasupai as well as 92&lt;sup&gt;nd&lt;/sup&gt; Street and Sierra Pinta.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160; &lt;/span&gt;There may be a liability issue for property owners that fail to maintain reasonable visibility at intersections.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&amp;#0160; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

He was also asked for verification that Newpath will comply with the 16’8” height.</font></p>

&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%"&gt;&lt;font face="Calibri"&gt;Your Board of Directors 2009 regular meetings are scheduled for May 28, September 24, and the annual meeting in October on a date not yet set. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;Regular board meetings are held at one of the director’s home. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;Locations will be posted on the Pima Acres web site &lt;span style="TEXT-DECORATION: underline"&gt;pimaacres.org&lt;/span&gt; Property owners are always welcome to the board meetings. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;However, you don’t have to wait until a regular board meeting to contact any board member about an issue or question. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&amp;#0160;&amp;#0160;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;Board members and contact information are listed below.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"&gt;&lt;strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="TEXT-DECORATION: underline"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%"&gt;&lt;font face="Calibri"&gt;LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPING AT THE ENTERANCES ON HUALAPAI AND SIERRA PINTA&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%"&gt;&lt;font face="Calibri"&gt;The board has been in contact with the City of Scottsdale about cleaning and maintaining the city owned lot at the corner of Hualapai and Pima Road. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;The area of concern is the east side of the two monuments. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;Due to current budget problems, the city cannot do a major clean up and replace dead trees until this fall. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;Once the city has completed the work on this lot, the board will negotiate a contract with the city to maintain only the area east of the monuments. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;This will greatly improve the esthetics of the area. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;The city will continue the responsibility for the monuments at Hualapai Road and Sierra Pinta Road.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160; &lt;/span&gt;This will include lighting and the entire Pima Road fence, landscaping, and all water and power for the area.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"&gt;&lt;strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="TEXT-DECORATION: underline"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%"&gt;&lt;font face="Calibri"&gt;FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%"&gt;&lt;font face="Calibri"&gt;The city is continuing work on the flood control project for Pima Acres. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;The city is fully committed (including the City Manager and at least one Council member) to complete the project. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;Grayhawk Home Owners Association has objected to the design of the proposed water diversion channel, which will be along the west side of Pima Road. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;&amp;#0160;&lt;/span&gt;As of March 5, the channel is being redesigned to deal with Grayhawk’s issues. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%"&gt;&lt;font face="Calibri"&gt;D C Ranch has completed engineering and design work for the north side of Sierra Pinta Road, and will begin construction once the city has completed their diversion channel.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

The board has expressed our concerns to both The City of Scottsdale and Newpath Networks, Inc. and will continue to monitor any proposed site.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
