The way David Lynch directs films is unmistakable. Whether it was his Sci-fi hit Dune or the thriller Blue Velvet, Lynch has used surreal images and particular music in all his films to create unique movies that cult followers have dubbed the "Lynchian" style of film making. Just a quick search on YouTube gives you countless of cuts of films done with that approach. And the latest - and by far the best - we could find was this re-cut trailer for the romantic film Dirty Dancing. The use of Lynch’s patented slow-mo and fast paced cuts of the movie, intertwined with the trance-like music makes us wish he was the original director.

In the comments field below let us know if you have a favorite "Lynchian" modified clip from YouTube or if there's a film you would like to see done with that approach.

Pixar’s UP predictably grabbed the No. 1 spot this weekend, pulling in $68.2 million, Night at the Museum 2 came in at the No. 2 spot with $25.5 million and the first horror flick of the summer, Drag Me To Hell, rounded out the top 3 with $16.6 million. Do adults go to the movies anymore?

One of the big problems with the first Transformers movie, was that the action was so choppy and fast-paced it was tough to tell what was going on. The new trailer for Revenge of the Fallen suggests we can expect more of the same.

If you had any interest at all in MTV’s Movie Awards last night, you’ll probably scream with excitement while watching the first trailer for Twilight: New Moon.

After you get past the boring intro from Daniel Radcliffe (aka Harry Potter) you can check out this exclusive clip from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Man Vs.Wild took a pretty severe hit to its credibility when some papers found out Bear was getting help when he was on his adventures. That storm has passed, but adding comedian, Will Ferrell to the show’s mix seems like a step in the wrong direction. But the show needs ratings and Will Ferrell’s upcoming movie, Land of the Lost needs to make money, so we end up with a mash-up like this one. Next time they should try an action hero like Bruce Willis. Now that we would watch. Check out the preview video and decide for yourself.
