Good Morning!

Today's C4C challenge is to make a gift card holder.  I went a step further and made a gift to go along with my gift card holder.  

The six pack holder is by Art Blanche and can be found HERE!  The pretty pink paper is some I picked up at my LSS and is by Melissa Frances.  I punched the top and bottom using my MS scallop doily punch.  The bottles used to hold Prima flowers and now they hold bath bubbles, bath crystals, body wash, white chocolate mint candy and chocolate covered peanuts.  I will give you a closer look at the jars in a minute!  The image is from The Greeting Farm and is called Me Time Anya.  Rachel is currently out but I am sure she is reordering so if you are interested in this set, just contact her HERE!

I made the little window using Whisper White CS and adding THIS DP in the background.  The candles are included in the set and I made the shelf from dark brown Bazzill CS.  The "rug" is a large oval punched from Whisper White CS and then I added snow white Flower Soft.  Anya's "towel" was paper pieced using the same pink DP but I added white flock to make it look fluffy.  I also added white flock to her robe.

I made the box from a template I made using one I bought at target for $.99.   I will try to figure out how to upload it and pass it on if anyone is interested.  I embossed the bottom of the box, before I taped it together, using my Victoria embossing folder.  The ribbon is from May Arts, rhinestones are from Zva and the darling pin is from Making Memories.  The little flower is from some old trim I had laying around.

Some quick details I added on this are white flock on the slippers to make them fuzzy, Stardust Stickles on the bubble and I paper pieced her little headband with the same DP.

I printed the ingredients on the same DP and then punched them all out using my SU! large oval punch and then matted using a white scalloped oval that I cut using my Nesties.  I tied these on using black and white May Arts ribbon. 

Sorry this is such a quick post and definitely lacking in details but I still have so much to do to get ready to go to The Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg.  Joey's entire football team and their families are going so it will DEFINITELY be a great time!

I have a couple of cards to share with you tonight!  My first card is using the NEW Thankful Accents set as well as Holly Jolly ~

I don't know about you but I get so wrapped up in making Christmas cards that I forget that AFTER Christmas, thank you notes need to be sent so here is my FIRST thank you note!!!  The base of this card is Bordering Blue with a mat of Vintage Cream.  The decorative paper on the left is some old paper I have had from Melissa Frances and the strip down the side, which was cut using THIS Pierceabilities die, is from MME Merry Days of Christmas.  The crocheted flower is one that Lindsey used to have in her store.  I added a PTI white button and tied a bow using linen thread.  The sentiment was stamped on Vintage Cream CS that I cut using my Lots of Tags Sizzlet dies using Bordering Blue ink.  I lightly sponged the edges of the tag using Bordering Blue ink.  I then added THESE Zva rhinestones.  BTW, don't forget that Lindsey has 25% off her entire store right now until the 30th!  The rhinestone flourish is also from Zva and can be found HERE.  I stamped the ornaments from Holly Jolly using my Versamark on the MME DP and then heat embossed using Vanilla EP.  I added a top loop to the ornament using linen thread and then tied the ornaments on using linen thread again.

On the inside I stamped ~ You're too kind from the NEW Thankful Hearts set, using Bordering Blue ink.

Here is a super simple card I made using 1 Corinthians 15:57, which is a Plain Jane stamp ~ 

The base of this card is Chocolate Chip.  The off white paper is actually the back of the decorative blue strip on the side and is by My Minds Eye, their Bella Bella Collection.  I embossed one side of the off white paper using my Victoria embossing folder from Provo Craft.  The strip down the side was punched using one of my Martha border punch/embosser.  I then added vanilla Taffeta and off white wide organdy ribbon.  The branches were punched from Artichoke CS using my MS punch.  The flowers are from Verve's Grateful Elegance set and were stamped on the DP using Chocolate Chip ink.  I then cut them out, added the tiny Memory Box pearls and adhered them on the sentiment piece which was stamped using Chocolate Chip ink and cut out using my oval Nesties.  The final step was to add the tiny MS butterflies.

Now it's time for mine and Michelle's challenge!!!  Our challenge is called embellish with V-E-R-V-E!! Basically, all you have to do is make a card or project using at least one embellishment that starts with the letters in VERVE.  We will consider you cheating if you use VERY pretty brads but if you used VELVET brads, you will not be cheating!!! LOLOLOL!!!  For my card I used RIBBON and EMBOSSING ~

The base of this card is Vintage Cream CS from PTI and then a mat of Basic Black and then the K&Co. Black & Ivory DP.  The circle in the center is actually a window.  I stamped the swirled circle image from Verve's brand new set called Thankful Accents, using my Versamark and then heat embossing using black embossing powder.  I added small pearls to accent the embossed image as well as the bottom of the card where I used THIS Pierceabilities die to cut it.  The beautiful silk ribbon is from May Arts and can be found HERE.  I then cut the window using my circle Nesties.  Here is  closer look at window ~

The sentiment and little flourish are also included in the Thankful Accents set and were stamped using Black Momento ink.  Here is a look at the inside ~

Sorry about the crummy pictures but when these were taken, we were on our 3rd day of rain and drizzle here in Virginia!  Looks like we are FINALLY going to have a nice day today!
