As many of you know...I've been in a HUGE process of moving back down to AZ! Bitter sweet times...I LOVE Montana and all of our wonderful friends there...Life long friends that is. But I LOVE my son even more...and I need to be with him and him me. Since his life is in AZ, it was time to come home...so Olivia and I moved back. 

With that said...onto this WONDERFUL fun Blog hop! In the midst of packing and unpacking...I did manage to create a fun layout and challenge for this fun hop!

Journaling says: Olivia puts the sun in sunshine...she's the light in our every day! 

How to: Placement is everything right? What I did with my clusters in the corners of the photograph, is just played around with arranging them. I added a little bit of ric rac to help frame in the whole design for a fun effect.

I love finding fun new creative ways to do title work...so this post is a little snip of how I come up with different ways to do just that...

I couldn't just stop with one layout with the AWESOME new Maggie Holmes line for Crate Paper...I Lahoooooooove it! Look at how beautifully it all works together? All the fun vintage, and hip colors...I can't get enough honestly! My new fav! Also loving these darling flair buttons by Panda Eight Designs! 

Having a great week with my girl...We spent the entire day with her whole class up at Whitefish Mountain Resort cheering on the Special Olymics games. It was so AMAZING! I am so proud of being a part of this class. Mrs Emsley is so wonderful to share her passion and teaching our children the importance of compassion and love for these special people that is so needed...children and adults alike. It was truly AMAZING!

Now for one more little shout out. Like many of us crafters out there, I've been on the hunt for YEARS to find a good trimmer that is cuts accurately! That is easy to use and consistantly good! I finally found it...and I felt the need to share this info with you all too. I'm also super excited to share that I've had 2 clients request hats from me...and I got to use my new little fun tags that my sweet friend Diane Payne sent me for my birthday! (Love them!) The hats that were sold, you can view in the above picture of me and Olivia. I am wearing the hat and have made a duplicate one like mine, and in the process of making a black one now for my other client. :) This makes me happy! This just might turn into something! Kind of excited at the idea...and just going with it. :)

Welcome to the American Crafts Valentine's Day Blog Hop!

Here is the love-themed layout I made using mostly XOXO supplies:

I kept this simple, with very little journaling, and spent more time with designing a fun background to compliment this sweet photograph of my son and daughter. I chose to make this photograph BW since the background is full of wonderful bright colors. I wanted the photograph to pop off the page and not conflict with all the background design.

I created the fun border and hearts using my Silhouette cutting machine, with the patterned papers. 

I too have decided to provide this fun hop with a give away of my own.:)

I'm working on this hat right now...This will be a hat when I'm done. I will say I didn't get very far today with the game...I was too afraid of missing a stitch! LOL

I kind of just love having something to work on while I'm watching football. :) 

Then of course...here are a couple of other fun sneaks of what I've been working on for American Crafts January assignments...I'm loving my new Martha Stewart Circle Edge punch! Super cool! Thank you Stephanie Howell for enabling me to get this! :) Super easy to use too. You can watch a demo here.

Just a quick little post sharing a fun gift card holder idea with you all. 

Super simple...with a little extra love for those plastic gfit cards that are so impersonal.

I don't know about you, but we do a lot of Gift Cards for the Teen Ager's and older kids in our family. This way they can get what they want...and it saves on mailing out bulky presents too. I LOVE giving them...and love to create a special little card to give them with. This year I had a ton of Kringle and Co. (American Crafts) papers left over that I still LOVED and wanted to find use for, so I used several scraps and fun embellishments for these. I LOVE the Stamps in this set too!

For these Card Holders, I cut a piece of paper 4 inches wide by 9 inches long. Then I used my scoring blade and lengthwise scored at 3 1/2 inches and at 7 inches and fold over. If you want to tie it all together with string, or ribbon like I did, you can either cut slices or punch a couple of holes so you can weave the ribbon/string through it. I used some photo corners to hold the cards on the inside, but you can use another piece of scrap paper and create a pocket too. Once you have that part done, you can start decorating with some fun embellishments to give yours just the right finishing touches. Have fun!
