Congratulations Mustache Farmers!!

Through their hard work and ability to fend off weeks of harassment, mustache growers were able to raise $7706.69 to benefit the American Cancer Society! With Foundation matching for all employee donors, the American Cancer Society will receive over $12,000 from R&D – way to go, guys!

It's time to pilfer your laundry for those crumpled up ones and fives - the winner of our very own "Countdown to 148" Mustache-a-Thon will be the mustache farmer who raises the most money for our charity of choice, the American Cancer Society!

Click the Donate Now! link on the mustache-a-thon blog and donate money to your favorite 'staches. Every dollar you donate counts as a vote for your favorite mustache farmer, PLUS it will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, by the Salesforce Foundation (if you're an SFDC employee)!

The winner will be announced on Friday, July 20^th at the Mustache-a-Thon Grand Finale.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I donate $20 on behalf of a mustache farmer, does that equal 1 vote or 20?
A mustache farmer gets 1 vote for every $1 donated in his (or her) name. Therefore a $20 donation equals 20 votes!

Isn't that undemocratic? What happened to one person, one vote?
A Mustache-a-Thon isn't a democracy, it's a meritocracy. Like American Idol, you can vote as many times as you want, for as many mustache farmers as you like. In fact, we strongly encourage you to donate money on behalf of any mustache that's made you smile over the past 6 weeks - remember, it's all for a good cause!

Last week I thought Mike Polcari had the best mustache, but this week it's definitely Simon Fell's - can I change the mustache farmer associated with a vote I already submitted?
Once you donate money on behalf of a mustache farmer, you can't change your vote. However, you can cancel out your first vote by donating the same amount of money (or more) on behalf of another mustache farmer.

Will the mustache farmer know that I voted for him/her?
Absolutely! As part of the PayPal process, we'll collect your name and email address with your payment. This will help us get the matching funds from the Foundation. If you want to leave a special message for your mustache farmer, click the "Add special instructions for the Merchant" link in PayPal when you submit your payment.

Why does Michelle Jowitt's name and email address show up in the Pay Pal processing? Is she going to steal my money in some sort of corporate fraud attempt?
Michelle has been kind enough to lend us a corner of her typepad account, so that's why her name shows up in PayPal. The actual account that you're funding is managed by the Salesforce Foundation. Really. :)

Welcome to Week 2! Those 'staches are really coming into their own this week. In order to celebrate, we're going to have a little "Guess the 'Stache Farmer" contest before posting the real photos of each farmer's progress.

Here's how it works. Below, you see a list of fabulous nubile 'staches.
