Officials at the Davey O’Brien Foundation have selected five finalists for the 2011 Davey O’Brien High School Scholarship Award, with the winner to be announced Jan. 17.

The scholarship is presented annually to an exceptional senior student-athlete from the North Texas area. The winner will receive a $20,000 grant and will be formally recognized at the Davey O’Brien Awards Dinner, Feb. 20 at the Fort Worth Club.

The list of finalists, announced today, includes Haley Beck, Coppell; William Jameson, Duncanville; Lee Lueder, Lake Highlands; Kim Reimold, Episcopal School of Dallas and Will Squiers, Cistercian Preparatory School.
