[field title=”Proposal Story”]The proposal was in his favorite city, NYC, at a French restaurant in January. It was very low key but also very unexpected and I almost ruined it (I was hangry after waiting a while to be seated and eat). After we were seated, I vented to him about my afternoon. Just when I thought he was going to continue the conversation, he smiled, pulled out a box, and asked me to marry him. I thought he was joking until he opened the box and I saw the most beautiful ring. At that instant, I was no longer hungry![/field]

The strong lines the clean fabric was the statement, that didnt need anything extra. A statement that Rebecca said she felt the minute she put it on. “When I tried on the ceremony dress for the first time, it truly was “the” moment! I felt so beautiful and bridal even though it was not what I had initially envisioned myself wearing.” This made way for finding something more flashy for the reception, her slim floor length gown really brought the vibe to the party.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The dinner menu was elegant and approachable with a coastal flare. Starting with Maryland style crab cakes for appetizers. Followed by a choice of braise short ribs over mashed potatoes or a striped bass with Ratatouille & Roasted potatoes, the menu also offer a vegetarian risotto. This dinner felt classic and familiar but honest to the venue. [/field]

As beautiful as the day itself was. The showstopper of the day was the florals. Rebecca was intentional about having our decor and flowers leaned more towards green foliage than pretty flowers. Petal Productions really put on a show. The foliage against the intercostal backdrop was definitively Miami. It set the scene for a ceremony that felt big while having an intimate guest count.
