Window Mobile Phone 7 users will not have the copy and paste function available to them. This will be a major set back for WinMo 7 users and Microsoft as well.

WinMo 7 is going back to the time when Apple iPhone do not have the copy and paste function. This may kill the WinMo 7 devices and lead the rise of Blackberry and iPhone smart phones.

Save the Wedding at Cafe World

The latest mini game for Cafe World is to bake a Wedding cake for a "Friend" in 14 days time where her cake shop cancelled on her wedding cake booking which resulted that she will not have her wedding cake on her wedding.

You will have to ask your Cafe Friends to send u all the ingredients required to bake the cake. It is just like the spice rack, except with 14 days time limitation imposed. You will see a wedding rack inside your cafe world which is a white round table with pink border.

Click on the Wedding Rack and you will see the progress that you have made to Save the Wedding. Click on Ask for help" and send to your Cafe Friends, but if you already sent your gifts out for that day, then you will not be able to ask for help. You need lots of Cafe Friends as they are allowed to sent you one ingredient per day only. You can also buy all the ingredients for 25 Cafe Cash.

Cafe World Buzz Rating

Running a successful Café can be a tough business, and requires a delicate balance between cooking great food, and having great service. Part of the challenge in Café World is finding the right balance to turn your Café into a 5 star establishment. What worked in your Cozy Café may not always work as you expand your operation into a Bountiful Café, and you may need to change your recipe for success!

Some things to keep in mind as you expand your Café are:

Make sure there is a full Pathway from door(s) to *each* chair, and from your Counters to *each* table. Try to leave plenty of space for both Customers and Waiters to move around without having to go around objects in their path.

Nothing should be blocking or too close to the first step of the doorway.

Tables must have an empty spot around one of the 8 sides (4 sides, 4 corners) to be served and a chair facing it.

Serving counters should have an empty spot (facing it) from one of the 4 sides to allow your Waiters to pick up a dish. Avoid putting counters in corners where your Waiters will not be able to pick up a dish.

Try to avoid creating small places between your counters where your waiters can be stuck.

For larger Café’s try placing your Counters in a more central location of your Café so that Waiters will have to travel less distance to reach your Customers.

Don’t expand too fast! If you do not have enough waiters to serve all your customers some may leave unhappy.

If you are low on food, some people choose to drag their door into their inventory to “close” your Café until you have more food.

Your Buzz Rating will not change while you are away from your Café. If your Buzz rating is starting to climb please leave your Café running so your Buzz Rating can reach its full potential. It may several hours for your Buzz to rise to its highest point.

If you find that your Buzz Rating is not as high as it used to be, or that your Customers are not being served fast enough you may want to take a look at some of your neighbors Café’s to see what works for them, and get some ideas for the perfect setup. Experiment with different layouts of your own to find that perfect balance that will have everyone in the neighborhood raving about your Cafe!
I have always achieve a Buzz Rate of 105 for my Cafe World by following the simple rules and you can also do it.

Hard and Soft Reset of Omnia Pro B7610

Soft reset the Samsung Omnia Pro B7610 by opening up the battery cover at the back of the phone.

You will see a small hole above the camera lens and LED Flash light. Use your stylus or a small paper clip to press it once to soft reset your Omnia Pro B7610.

Hard Reset of Omnia Pro B7610

1. Press Lock and W&L Button (do not release)
2. Reset the Device with Stylus
3. At the first Samsung Boot Logo press Call and End Call Buttons for 0.5 sec.
4. The "do you want to format" Question appears immediately

Note: Hard Reset will reset your Omnia to factory default. Please remember to backup your contacts and data.

Install Wii Box Art on USB Loader GX

You need to follow some simple rules in order to get the Box Art to work on the USB Loader GX.

Disc Cover Image
The Wii Disc Cover Image will be place in the SD:/images/ by default and you can change the custom path if you are an advance user. The images must be in PNG format and not any other picture format.
The image size must have a dimension in multiple of 4. I will elaborate further seems this has confuse many Wii users. Lets say the Image size is 160 X 236. This is acceptable as both 160 and 236 divide by 4 will give u a whole number and that means they are a multiple of 4. I hope all of you get what I mean.

DVD Disc Image
The Wii Disc Image need to have a resolution of 160X160 and must be place in SD:/images/disc/ and you can change the custom path if u are a advance user.

USB Loader GX

The USB Loader GX is a powerful Wii Application to play all your Wii Games from your external hard disk. You can now put all your Wii Games on a hard disk and do not need to use the DVD Drive for loading the games from your DVD.

Installing USB Loader GX

Copy the wad files u download to the SD:\wad\
Open the HomeBrew Channel
Run the WAD Manager in HomeBrew
Scroll on the WAD File u want to install and press '+'
Press the Home Button to reset Wii after installation

You need a WBFS Manager to format your hard disk in order to be able to load the Wii Games onto the external hard disk.

Play New Super Mario Bros on Soft Mod Wii

After spending a few days researching on the internet, I have finally found a way to play the New Super Mario Brothers(NSMB) on the Nintendo Wii.

1. You need to have the cIOS Rev 14 in order for the NSMB to work.

2. A USB Loader is needed to get the NSMB to work. This is the only method I found to get the NSMB to work. Alternative you can also patch the NSMB if you want it to work on a DVD but u need to search the internet to found out how.

3. You also need to have a hard disk or thumb drive formatted using the WBFS Manager. This is for installing the Wii Games onto the hard disk or thumb drive.
Download the WBFS Manager>>>

4. Format the thumb drive or hard disk using the WBFS Manager

5. Plug in the thumb drive or hard disk to the Wii USB Port

6. Insert the New Super Mario Brothers DVD

7. Run the USB Loader GX Channel

8. Click on the '+' sign at the left hand corner of the screen to install game to hard disk

9. It will install the game to the hard disk

10. Click on Game -> Settings -> Game load and apply the following settings

Video Mode: Force NTSC
VIDTV Patch: Off
Game Language: Console Default
Ocarina: OFF
IOS: IOS249
Parental Control:0
Error 002 Fix: Yes
Patch Country Settings: OFF
Alternate DOL: Default

Note: You need to have a SD Card inserted as settings are saved to the SD Card.

11. Start the game.

Wii cIOS Rev 14

You need to have the cIOS Rev 14 if you are unable to play the latest Wii Games. Two of the latest game that need to use this cIOS Rev 14 are New Super Mario Bros and Call of Duty:Modern Warfare.

Installation Instructions

Copy the cIOS Rev 14 to SD:/Apps/
Go to the Homebrew Channel
Load the cIOS Rev 14 file
You need to use Network Installation
The installer will download data and complete the installation

Note: If you use wad installation, you need to find the wad file yourself. Pls also ensure that Wii can already connect to the internet so that you can use Network Installation

Lenovo Service Centre Singapore Review #1

My Lenovo IdeaPad U150 was having screen display problems after using less than 24 hours. The screen display colors was distorted and I have to send it to a Lenovo Service Centre. The Lenovo Service Centre is not operated by Lenovo but a third party contractor called Megalink Systems appointed by Lenovo. The Lenovo Service Centre has limited technical staff and that is why repair will take at least 5 working days. Furthermore, the service centre only works Monday to Friday.

My Lenovo IdeaPad U150 took 6 working days to complete the screen distortion repair. I send it in on 11 Dec 2009 and repair was completed on 21 Dec 2009. The reason for the screen distortion was the cable was loose as explained by the staff. But after taking it back home, the screen distortion problem came back after less than 24 hours of using. I will need to visit the service centre for the same problem again next week.

I guess I will have to wait another week before they can resolved my problem as most likely they will not rectify it for me on the same day. This time they must solve it as I do not want to made a third trip for the same problem. It may either means Lenovo IdeaPad Standard is low or the technical staff at the service centre is not well trained for this new line of laptop products.

My rating for the Lenovo Service Centre is 6 out of 10.
