This Made Me Cry

When I was 20 or 21 or so, I lived in NYC. I was in film school and spent all my spare time chasing boys and going to shows--not much has changed. Anyway, I found this footage of the Jonathan Fire Eater show, February 28, 1998 at Irving Plaza while updating my iTunes. Turns out, I'm in the audience at this show. I'm front row on the right side of the stage with my friend, Yashicas. I even waited outside afterwards for an hour in 12-degree weather while the band loaded their gear onto the tour bus just to meet them and to get them to sign my ticket stub. Holy crap! I started crying when I saw it. Especially considering it's where I met this fool.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Release Date: Christmas Day, 2008

The only movie worth seeing with your family this Christmas is The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It's funny, sexy, stylish and soooooo sweet. I cried the whole way after after screening it last week. The special effects are good (but need improvement in some areas). However, that's the ONLY criticism I can give it.

And although I got to do the junket for Marley and Me, I'm a little less interested in this movie. Dogs are cute and all, but a whole movie dedicated to one that doesn't rescue people from waterfalls or sniff cancer out of people who live near power plants? Hmm... If you must, M & M is good--you'll like it. But it's not a kid's movie so don't go there unless you wanna hear, "Mommy, what's a miscarriage?"

Sure, there's some other stuff out, but the absolute best movie is Benjamin Button. Also, go see Milk if you haven't caught that one yet. It's really amazing as well.

Someone showed this to me at a party a couple of weeks ago and I LITERALLY wet myself (no joke). Standing on Main St. in Santa Monica, I urinated all over myself. It was stellar. Now before any of you give me shit for making fun of a Korean kid, please note, I was conceived in Korea, so technically, that makes me Asian. Or at the very least, Kornegro. And in the interest of fairness, if there are any Asian folks out there who were conceived in Africa, or...you know, Compton...you have my permission to reciprocate.

OK, so I know the new Bond flick is opening today. And I'm sure you don't need me to tell you to rush out to see it. So I'll save my breath and keystrokes.

What you should do instead is go to Madagascar 2.

I don't have any cool anecdotal information straight from the stars lips on this one. You see, I fucked up and went to the junket on the wrong day and ended up missing the chance to interview Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Ben Stiller and Will-i-Am from the Black Eyed Peas. However, most of those people I've interviewed all ready. But still, it would've been dope to sit down with Rock. I love that guy.

Anyway, here's my "official" review of the film.

The video content on this site is funny and gives plenty of eye candy is your one love in life is pasty jailbait-looking white males.
