Well, while Samuel has been burning the candles at both ends, yours truly took a much needed break. My girlfriend and I headed to Austin to visit with her family and go tubing on the Guadalupe River. We enjoyed many laughs and lots of delectable food. While it was very fun to get away, I have returned refreshed and ready to get back to work! Upon my arrival Sam informed me of several new clients that have taken interest in our work so, suffice to say things are getting very busy and that is a really good thing! On the film front; a lot of progress has been made with Mineola and the North East Texas Film Commission. The 18th of this month we present our idea to the City Council which appears to be only a formality at this point but, all signs are pointing towards Tripwire having a location for a least one, possibly two films and a city that is ready to back us. We will continue to keep you posted, which brings me to the next topic...compositing. I have been working on a few stills from our test shoot that I will be posting very shortly (for real this time). They will give you a greater scope of what it is that we are trying to achieve visually with this film. Yes, things are busy and the company is growing. Keep coming back to Tripwirefilms.com and check out our progress, from commercials to our film projects, things are getting very exciting around here. Thanks for your time, TF fans!

Todd Morgan
Video Production/Graphic Design
Tripwire Films

Lynda Rauscher, David Stevenson, the ATF, David Madsen, the entire volunteer fire department, the police chief, etc... they're all folks willing to help some young filmmakers chase a dream. Thank you.

I believe I left off with the shoot in the pasture. The footage turned out great (bug Todd for clips of the composited muzzle flash), inspiring us to consider creating a combat sequence.

So we plotted out this little moment with a small platoon and a stray bullet. (can't explain too much)

I handed the idea off to John Kelly, he came back with a challenge. At the same time, I met with actor Frederic Doss. He asked me if I had it in me to make a proper action film. We have intentions to start an acting group for my films. More on that later... Fred's been in Transformers and the soon to be released GI Joe. Upon talking to him, the plan really swung into motion.

Neat potential location stills...

Part of Downtown Mineola, Tx

The Old Beckham Hotel - Mineola, Tx

out at the 3000 acre nature preserve outside Mineola

cool, yes?

check back soon for more blogs... and don't forget to read Mr. Todds blogs. The guy will be releasing really neato composite work soon. been quite busy. We
have made a lot of head way with the music videos and our commercials
this past month and it seems a lot of people are taking notice. We have
a lot on the horizon, I'm sure if you've read Sam's blog you are well
aware of are upcoming short film projects. Sam placed a few pics from
the test shoot for one of these films in his last blog but, we should
have a few full composited pics up soon! The shoot for Culinary
Crossroads on Sat. went pretty well and I am hoping to have the
commercial put together in a few days... we have something special in
mind for this one! Well I will stay in touch so, keep reading Tripwire
Fans!

Lindsey Todd Morgan
Video Production/Graphic Design
Tripwire Films
