Sadness....

Yes, 'tis true. I'm leaving Urbanmoms.ca. But! 'Tis not goodbye really. 'Tis hello from a new place.

I've had a great time here at Urbanmoms.ca! This fab website has been an ever-gracious home to Cheaty for over a year now, and the community has been beyond warm and encouraging -- LOVE! But, little Cheaty has grown up, and it's time to move out of mama's house! (How 'bout all these mixed metaphors -- do you love it??).

So, I will now be hosting the gossip at my own pad: THE CHEATY MONKEY. So, come on over and CHECK IT. Excuse the decor, though, the renovations will take time -- by the New Year, she'll be totally FANCY! In the meantime, thank you to everyone at Urbanmoms.ca for your support and friendship, and for this amazing experience of gossiping with your GORGEOUSES! I hope to see you all at the new digs. If I don't, though, do take care of you, and I will soooooo miss you! MWAH! LOVE!

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT STRIKES BACK WITH BRILLERS REFLECTION

SO, Jennifer Love Hewitt just got engaged?! Did you hear? Probably not. Because all everyone's talking about is the so-called cellulite-laden arse she's sportin' in these recent photos of her and fiance Ross McCall in Hawaii. And, JL's PISSED. Here's what she wrote in her blog:

This is the last time I will address this subject.
I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.
A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful. What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body.
To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini -- put it on and stay strong.

Ummm.... I think I LOVE HER! I think this is a very smart and inspiring post. Makes me even want to wear a bikini (wellllll...). And, so do many other celebs out there. Here's what a few celebs at the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance launch party (this week in NYC) told People Magazine:

• Model Petra Nemcova: "There are different angles that everybody, even if you're in great shape, can look bad in a photograph. And printing these images is definitely influencing people's minds – the stars themselves, but also the people who are reading and looking at the images, the teenagers. It's definitely good that she spoke out."

• Rosario Dawson: "They'll make a whole story about it if someone gains 5 lbs. ... It think there is a huge obsession with size-zero jeans, and it's just really scary. I don't really know where that comes from. We're not really in the Twiggy era anymore. It makes me really nervous, because I don't know how in the world we're supposed to be that thin unless we're totally starving and drugging up."

• Anne Hathaway: "[As an actress], most of the year, your body is your own. But to be ridiculed for it is upsetting. But to also have to defend it or explain it or rejoice in it or put it down, or to be expected to have a public opinion about it ... I don't understand when that happened. I don't think women should only be defined by their bodies and their weight. It's a cycle we've been in for some time, and I don't really like it."

SO, WHO'S LEAVING THE HILLS....??

So, the jury's still out on whether or not Whitney Port is leaving The Hills. But, it turns out the REAL question, is.... Is HEIDI MONTAG leaving The Hills? Lauren has only given us this wee hint on the state of things in Season 4: “I have some friends on [the show], some friends off”(qtd. from In Touch Magazine).

But, it seems the still more pressing question at hand is this...: how ADORABLE are those beach bags (above)? I'll keep you posted at the Cheaty's new digs, fashizzle....

Oh!!! And, how 'bout that "BRITNEY CANADA WHORE"!!!!!! How much did you LOVE that!? GO CANADA! SHOUT-OUT!!!

THE GRAMMYS DON'T CARE THAT AMY WINEHOUSE IS A ROYAL MESS

GASP! And, is that the same bra you wore the other scandalous morning?

Anyway, the Grammys don't seem to care that Amy's disintegrating before our very eyes.... She's been nominated for FOUR of the most prestigious Grammy awards -- second to Kanye West, who's up for a whopping eight (good for him!). That's right, she's been nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year (for song writing), and Best New Artist. With all these nominations, she'll be asked to perform. I'm STILL waiting for Sir Rascal to go to SLEEP. What do you do with a 2-month-old who's not sleeping, not eating and not playing, just fussing...? You sit. And, you rock. And, you rock. And, you gossip when you can. So....

THE HILLS: IS WHITNEY DUNZO?

So, last week, "Hillsfan" requested some deets on Whitney Port's rumoured departure from The Hills. See there's a rumour floating around that she's been fired! And..., that the show's already started filming with her replacement. Apparently, they're firing Whitney because she's too boring, too "vanilla"....

Before I speak to this, I just have to say........SAY IT ISN'T SO! I freaking LOVE Whitney! I, like, look forward to her chats with Lauren -- granted, they're always ridiculously rehearsed, and redundant, but she's cute and quirky and definitely a key ingredient to the show's success, as far as I'm concerned. So, I'm really hoping this rumour isn't true.

But, alas, methinks it IS so. Everyone's talking about it. There's a new season of The Hills in the works. And, Whitney's not a part of it.

Lauren Conrad is looking A-MA-ZING on the cover of January's issue of Shape. In the issue, she talks about how the pressure to be thin in Hollywood drove her to get into some serious shape:

"In Hollywood, there's so much pressure to look good all the time that I started to feel uncomfortable with my body.... It hasn't been easy getting back in shape.... Every morning I wake up and my muscles are sore, but it's worth it."

Ahh, to be 21 again, and look like THAT! To stay in perfect shape, Lauren works out with Jarett Del Bene twice weekly. The workout includes weight training, kickboxing, and running on the treadmill.

LIKE OMIGOSH....

Amy Winehouse.... Looks more like a candidate for Extreme Makeover than a rock star.... She's never looked rougher -- and that's saying a lot....

Anyway.... Here she is walking barefoot, in only a bra and jeans, in freezing cold East London at 5:40am. Apparently, she was also "mumbling" incomprehensibly. While rumour has it she was at a friend's house shortly before the incident, Amy's reps have stated that she "had been asleep and heard a noise.... She went outside to investigate. She didn't realize the time." Suuurrre....

PARIS IS FAT

Ooops. I meant Paris's LIPS are fat. WTF?!?

BRAD PITT...LOVE....

We are LOVING Brad Pitt right now, Gorgeouses! He's contributed $5,000,000 of his own money to his MIR (Make It Right) project -- in which he plans to build 150 new environmentally-friendly homes for the New Orleans people by next summer. LOVE LOVE LOVE! He's not only hott, but HOTT! Of course, this means that the fam will be spending the holidays in New Orleans.... Check Angelina and Maddox at the Hot Pink Party in New Orleans -- where Brad announced his plans for MIR.

PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA

Are you loving it? I can't get enough. It's not as good as the American Project Runway -- c'mon, you don't GET much better than Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn ("make it work!")! But, it's still a hoot. And, the contestants DELIVER when it comes to drama. LOVE! Here are my hopes for the final three:

MG! She makes me want to cut me some short-arse BANGS! Fab designer -- should win it.

HATED him the whole time -- until he strutted down the runway in THIS. Love love LOVE. I still want MG to take it home, though.

This week was HEINOUS for Lucian. That suit! That SUIT! But, no doubt, he's a brillers WOMEN's clothing designer. I still want MG to take it home, though.... What do you think, Gorgeouses? Who's your fave?

MG MG MG MG!! Stephen's great, too, of course (they all are). But, these three are by far the strongest. I CANNOT believe they so stupidly eliminated MG earlier on. THANK UNIVERSE they took her back. She's fascinating. Loves the bangs....

I'd gossip a little more and a little spunkier, but...not only is the baby fussing, but I write this bittersweetly. You'll see why soon enough. LOVE!

I guess this is supposed to be artsy and we're supposed to go "oh, so beautiful! pregnancy is BEAUTIFUL!" But, I'm not really feelin' it. Instead, I'm feeling a little nauseous -- I really never wanted to see Christina's butt, preggers or not. Reminds me a wee bit of her old "Dirty" days. What do you think, Gorgeouses? Is this beautiful? Or, is it a li'bit "dirty"? ...Gotta love the shoes, though!
