Dear Dvoraks,

Last month while I was in Colorado I took a half day trip on the Arkansas River, which was a high point of my visit to the state. The directions you e-mailed were precise, making the destination easy to find from Denver. A pristine river, majestic rock formations, abundant plant life, and a variety of bird species; all are fond memories I now have of the rafting journey.

Additionally, I wanted to recognize the expertise of the guide - Liam who was both personable and knowledgeable making the trip notable. He was quite informative on a variety of subjects including the speed of the river, the habitat, history and geology of the area. He really was delightful, intelligent, and negotiated the river with expertise.

Thank you for providing a nicely organized trip, and a fabulous guide!

Regards, Suzy Duncan

Kevin, Ben, Lizzie, Amy, Justin, Russ and Dave were so much fun, and they worked so well with all the kids. They worked so perfectly as a team and were true professionals. Being on the river with Jeff and Marlayna and their whole family was also a lot of fun. The meals were excellent and we have told all our friends about our adventures. Except for the constant remarks from Ellen (the complainer) we had a great time and enjoyed everyone's company. Ben went out of his way to try and make her happy, but she was just one of those type's to complain about everything.

We hope as our kids get older, that we get to go on other rafting trips with ya'll.
We actually went home missing everyone. Please let all the guides know how much we enjoyed them.

Thanks for a perfect week.

Even better, if you could paste it on one of the more ripped guides bodies in a boat full of female rafters that would be appreciated. It would be a way cooler story to tell/show my friends that I was guiding a raft full of hardcore chix through the numbers rather than hanging with a bunch of dudes in wetsuits.

Ok just kidding. We had a great time running the river with you guys. I really enjoy the fact that we had no one else with us and we were able to run the river without a whole mass of boats. I have run most of the rivers in Colorado several times and since I do not have enough time to spend on the river learning to run my own boat I must use river companies such as yours. I have run other rivers with many other companies including Dvorak’s before, and can honestly say that you guys have the best operation. I have some very close friends who are in turn very close with the owners and would have probably give me a load of sh%t if they actually saw pictures of me looking like a gaper/tourist with all the gear on, especially since I have been on the river quite a few times.

Also, even though Mat is a paddle Nazi I think I learned more tips from him on paddling than anyone else yet. He was cool to boat with and the other guys were great too. I will look forward to doing Gore Canyon with Mat later this summer when it is running.

Thanks again,

Eric Galvan
Arkansas River on the Numbers @ cut off level “BIG WATER”
