I've been battling some kind of dizziness so haven't been feeling up to doing too much. Feel a bit better today so I thought I would post a couple of cards I made. I am starting to think of Christmas as you can tell. It won't be long now.....The cardstock is all Stampin'Up.
Sorry it's been awhile since I blogged anything. I've been in a bit of a funk lately with my card making and am trying to get my mojo back. Hubby and I went to Las Vegas for five days. We met my sister and brother in law there and rented an SUV and cruised around Las Vegas taking in the sights. We are not much for gambling but we wanted to check it out at least once in our lifetime. We drove to the Grand Canyon (absolutely stunning in real life!) and the Hoover Dam (very interesting).. The weather was really hot - up in to 100 deg.F. so we were cooking but not complaining after leaving Vancouver and its cooler than usual summer. Anyway Costco already has some of their Christmas stuff out and there are lots of posters posting Christmas cards so I am trying to get into the mood for Christmas. Here is a card I made...

Beautiful weather today! I just love it. I sure feel sorry for the people in the U.S. who are really suffering with high heat and drought. We complain about the rain here on the West Coast but I think it really makes you apapreciate the nice weather when we get it. Here is a card I made for my Sunday Once a month challenge group. It's been awhile since I've posted. I've been busy relaxing and enjoying my holiday, lots of reading and sleeping lol! Here's a card I made for my grand daughters birthday this coming weekend. We will be going over to Vancouver Island to spend the weekend with her family and then back to work on Monday - ugh! This card is a very close "case" to a card by that I saw on a website "Pretty Impressions". I just slightly changed it.
