When I saw the image on this Cuttlebug folder I knew I wanted to make a Christmas card with it.  I just love the whole image and didn't want to put anything on it to detract from it.  I used red stickles for the centers of the pointsettias and then white opal fabric paint on the inside snowflake.  That's it,.  Cardstock is SU Real Red.  What do you think?

Well, it's just about over for another year.  I cannot believe that we did not have one person come to the door!!! As you know we recently moved so we weren't sure what the neighbourhood was going to be like on Hallowe'en.  We have a fairly large Asian community here so I don't know if they celebrate Hallowe'en or if there are not any little kids in the area.  With working all day it's hard to know what goes on around here during the day.  Soooooo,,,,,,I can feel those cute little chocolate bars already attaching themselves to my hips.   LOL! One of our next door neighbours kids (well he is about 18 or 19 yrs old) came over to show us the new little pit bull puppy that they just got.  He is 9 weeks old and sooooo cute!  They named him Hollywood....He wanted some advice on how to start potty training and said that the puppy just rips up the training pads! LOL!  Ohhh I remember those days very well.  Our dogs are already on in years - we have three that are 15, 14 and 10 yrs old....The fellow mentioned that he will be taking him for obedience training.  I sure hope it all works out for them.  The fellow is going to start pre- med classes next year so it will be interesting to see what happens to the dog then.  I can't stand people that are irresponsible about their pets - it is one of my pet peeves.....so I will be the invisible guardian and will be watching....

Time to start breaking out the Christmas cards - Hallowe'en is just around the corner.  Here's a card I made.

Here's a cute little gift box I made for my workshops.  This cute little hot chocolate carrier is actually two of them taped together.  I layered the hot chocolate in a cake piping bag I bought at Michaels and started with mini marshmallow, then powdered hot chocolate, then chopped up some min chocolate bars ( since candy canes aren't available yet) and put some of that on top of the hot chocolate and then topped it up with mini marshmallows.  YUMMY!  I then wrapped some ribbon around the top, tied a bow and then added a little snowman ornament I also found at Michaels.  Here is the link to the original box that inspired me:  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1500621  I also saw one at www.papertreyink and then another one on someones blog so I took a little inspiration from each one - thank you all.

SU Real Red cardstock and SU Old Olive cardstock and I used SU Markers to color in the snowmen.

I just love the colors of fall and made this card to celebrate Thanksgiving and the fall colors.  What do you think.  The background stamp I used are from SU Lovely as a Tree and then I used some various other stamps I picked up from somewhere.

I really should be posting a Thanksgiving card however I just don't have any available so I thought that this one would be a nice one to post.  This is another one from my World Card Making Day stash - I think I will make a Thanksgiving card today and post it later for you.  Here's a card for now...

It's such a gorgeous day here on the Westcoast, I just can't believe that winter is around the corner.  I am totally in awe of the fall colors of the trees.  I see that the stores are already stocking up for Christmas - it's hard to believe its so close when the weather is so beautiful.  We have certainly had a gorgeous summer and fall here in what is commonly know as "rainy" Vancouver.  I swear that Vancouver is the most beautiful city in the world when its sunny (not that I've seen many)...I sure hope some of you will visit this gorgeous city in your lifetime.  Here is a card I made for World Card Making Day.
