Tyrone: Hi everyone, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. Today I’ve got a special guest here on the call with me. You’ve probably already seen previously I’ve interviewed Chris Ducker before and I just wanted to get Chris on the line today because I want to share with you something really, really exciting and something that I’ve used as a service as well, too. So, I probably should introduce Chris first. How are you going Chris?

Chris: Very, very good. How about yourself?

Tyrone: Good, good buddy. Well the reason why I got Chris on the call today was I’ve been talking to Chris quite a bit and just from personal experience, I believe that Chris has one of the best places to find people to outsource virtual assistants and anything that you need in terms in the Philippines because being over in the Philippines where Chris is right now, is a huge, huge opportunity for him to be able to find good, quality stuff for you. So I thought okay, Chris’s got a new service that’s come out called Virtual Staff Finder and I thought why not get Chris on the line to share a little bit more information about this service. A service that I’ve used already and I found exceptional and something that I can highly, highly recommend. So Chris, maybe just share with us why you started this service and also little bit more about how it works?

Chris: Okay, well ahh…the reason why I set this thing up more than anything else, had to think of that for a minute…

Tyrone: I think I realized that.

Chris: The reason why I set it up more than anything else is because as my own outsourcing company Live2Sell Group has grown over the 5 years being in the business, our own sort of business strategies have changed a little bit. We no longer work with very small companies or entrepreneurs. We tend to sort of focus on partnering up with medium to large sized companies nowadays. And that’s just…you know, that’s just a strategy thing. It’s not because we don’t like the little businesseses, or you know the moutain top places or things like that. Fact to the matter is that you know, for every company as it grows, things change, strategies change. We would know different. And, I mean as an entrepreneur myself, I really…did miss. I’m talking about really for the last year or so. We haven’t worked with any sort of entrepreneurs or small companies. I’ve really been missing those one on one collaborations and those conversations, you know brainstorming and mind mapping sessions and things like that. And, it just became very, very evident to me from talking to people like yourself who are obviously involved with the outsourcing industry online and also with the clients coming through to…to our website, the Live2Sell website that there’s a massive, massive gap in the market for people who wanted to work with homebased virtual assistants but perhaps maybe didn’t want to spend the time and the effort, and the certain amount of money to go through all the process of trying to find somebody. And then, have possibly the risk in wasting a lot of time and money by choosing the wrong people. And, I think there’s a lot of horror stories online by using all these job websites which I’m not going to mention because I only get in trouble with them. But, the fact to the matter is that there’s a lot of horror stories where you pay people and they disappear on you, all those sorts of stuff. For me that’s…it’s just not fair for the entrepreneur. So, we set it up to bridge that gap fundamentally, that’s the tagline of the services: to bridge the outsourcing gap between working with a homebased virtual assistant and having the backbone and the infrastructure in terms of the interviewing, and background checking, and betting and testing that we have with Live2Sell Group that we use ourselves internally when we’re hiring people for our company. We have over 220 people working for us now so it’s tried and tested, it really does work.

Tyrone: Awesome. Well, the thing is probably just to mention as well, I’ve worked with quite a lot of students and members within Mass Outsource and also I still get a lot of people inquiring through my blog as well and through the MassOutsource.com, “Tyrone, I can’t find anyone who’s suitable. I’ve been through the job websites that you’ve recommended…” and I’m not saying that those job websites are probably going to be the best or not any good or anything like that but it’s a struggle because sometimes, to deal with them to find the right quality people does take time. So what Chris is able to do with this service and the reason why I find some awesome service and it worked really, really well is that it saves you time. It saves you huge amount of time having to go out there and find it yourself, do the interview process, back and forth testing and so forth. What Chris can do for you is really streamline that time and interview them for you, make sure the processes are all correct in place and basically hand you through that silver platter. And, you get basically the right candidate and saves you so much time having to spend looking for them. And, I’ll give you an example because I have used his service already. He was actually able to…I actually contacted Chris and I said, “Look Chris, I’m struggling to find a good, quality programmer out there specifically for PHP. And, because of that I just said look, I’ve been looking through so many different qualifications try out this website, try that website and just couldn’t find the right one. I said Chris can you see for me, since you’re in the Philippines, anyone that’s local around your area to be able to come and get interviewed and potentially be a candidate for my company.” So he went out there within probably a couple of days, came back with an awesome response and since then, I hired him. He’s been on my team for…I don’t know how long now but he’s just been an awesome, awesome programmer. So thank you, thank you to Chris that if I didn’t actually ask him, I wouldn’t have him on board. So I can tell you, just from personal experience, the service that Chris provides is just tremendous value because the kind of things that he can do for you not only can he find good candidates but he’ll also give you that personalized service to find out exactly what you want and this is just a testimonial for Chris’s service called the Virtual Staff Finder which I think in my opinion is probably one of the best resources to help find virtual assistants and virtual staff all across from the Philippines. Chris: I think it’s…I’d like to just add one thing as well. I think this will put a lot in people’s mind that these are as well, I actually now put together a team. When we were working with you actually, it’s just myself and my assistant that’s just working with people locally to find, I believe it was Joseph right? That’s the name of the programmer we’ve found you. And he actually is based here in Cebu and he came into the office, I’ve met him very briefly and he chatted with a couple of staff and everything but obviously not all the virtual assistants that we help entrepreneurs find and start to work with are based here in Cebu. You know, a lot of them are in Manila and that’s hours and airplane away. So what I’ve eventually done, I’ve set up a team three girls now, that consistently work not only with the clients, the entrepreneurs hiring for the service but also for the virtual assistants as well. And this is the very important part, we pre-programm their mindset on the types of things like when they should get paid, how they should get paid, how much they should get paid, the type of work that they’ll be doing for their virtual bosses, how to work with their virtual bosses and things like that. Not only as…I don’t actually do that myself. I have Filipinos in their local time, in their local dialect when there’s no…you know there’s absolutely no barriers, you know what they’re saying is getting across to them perfectly, there’s no communication barriers or problems in any way whatsoever. And so far, we’ve placed about in work. We launched the service a week ago and last week we’ve had close to 20 people signed up for it and I think we’ve already placed about 7 or 8 virtual assistants and so far the response have just been phenomenal. People were just like “Wow, they really know what they’ll be doing for me.” And that is you know, of the back as well as number one, finding somebody then number two, finding someone that’s actually going to know what you want me to do for you on a day to day basis. And, part of the process for the entrepreneur or the virtual boss to actually put together a very good quality job description as well so we can find the right candidate in that place as well. It’s not just about pretty good job ad on a website, we want to know exactly what your virtual staff member is going to be doing on a day to day basis so that we can find absolute best candidate for that as well.

Tyrone: Absolutely and that’s the reason why I say it to a lot of people and I always refer a lot of people back to you Chris because the fact is a lot of them just come back to me and say…and say to me…

It’s probably better to have somebody who’s physically there and has a team back and behind you to actually go through that process which in the end if you spend a whole week trying to find somebody and Chris does it in a couple of hours for you, you can imagine the cost saving you can gain back from that. Hi, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. Today I want to share with you a specific tutorial on how to be able to create those little small picture inside those screenshots that I do, all those screen captures that I do.

I have to tell you, there have been so many people asking me and you maybe one of them that have asked me. I said look, I’ll create a tutorial on how to do that. I’ll be honest with you, it’s so, so easy to do it’s not funny so I thought all right, to clear it up to help you really, really understand how to do it, all you really need is two things. I thought I have to share it with you right now.

First thing is you need a computer, and second thing you need a software, piece of software depending on what type of computer you have. But I can only tell you how to do it in Mac because that’s what I use. I’ve tried it in Camtasia but it doesn’t seem to work on PC very well which is a version of PC. So today’s tutorial is only, only going to be specifically how to create a picture in those screen capture videos that I do with my face at the bottom of it for Mac users and a particular software called Screenflow. So those are the things you need, you need a Mac computer and you need a software called Screenflow and that’s all you need to do to be able to record.

And, obviously to record sound and video, you need a video camera which is built-in and also your microphone which is also built-in as well, simple as that. So let me hop over onto my computer right now and I’ll show you exactly step by step how to do it. Okay, it’ll only take a few minutes, I’ll see you soon.

All right, I’m inside my computer right now. The thing that you need is the software called Screenflow which is right here. And, all you have to do is simply click on File, click on New Recording and what will happen is that it’ll bring up basically this little screen right here. And, you can see my little video and also the recording that’s going on which is happening right now. Once you’ve got that working, then you’ll just have to press the Record button and it’ll start to capture what we’re doing right now. And, what I find is that it’ll give you probably 3 seconds and the camera will load up and also will start to record in Screenflow.

So right now I’m facing the camera and talking directly to the camera and I’m talking as I only talk to the webcam and I’m recording my face while I could be doing a screenshot showing you how to do this, how to do that, how to do that. It’s that easy. And then once you finish all that, all you have to do is simply click two keys, three keys I should say it’s Option key Shift key and 2. And…let’s have a look. Wolah, there you go.

So as you can see I’ve got my little thing that’s been recorded there and I can move this anywhere I want — I can shrink it, I can enlarge it, I can do whatever I want to do. That’s how easy it is to record it, I can even make it in full screen if I wanted to. So depending on what the effect you want to achieve, and what you want to do, that’s all you have to do. And, that’s how easy it is to use in Screenflow. So I hope that’s really helped you there. I’m going to switch back over to the Screenflow software right now and we’ll finish off.

And, you can use this software to do any screen capture, you can do any facial capture that you want to do just how I’ve been doing. This is what we call the Picture-In screen capture and that way I can really convey what I’m doing, talking to people and still being on the screen as well.

Hi everyone, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you the next step which will probably be setting up the website and getting the articles onto it so that you can start getting traffic to the website because there’s no point obviously having a…a searched data and you completed all your research and not having a site because this is where we’re going to start making the money. All right, so I’m going to go through a step by step process where I’m going to show you exactly how my virtual staff go about setting up the website and then posting articles onto the blog.

Now, the posting of articles in the blog will be probably into another video for the next time because in this video, it’s quite in depth of what we need to do for setting up the website. So, I’m going to split it up into separate post so that way you can see exactly what needs to be done for posting articles. As this is all outsourced, it’s all done simultaneously but if you’re looking to do it yourself, then obviously you’ll need to spend a bit of time setting up the website then the articles after that. All right, so let’s just jump into it. I’m going to show you right now a checklist I’ve got in front of me. This is the checklist that I just give straight to my virtual assistant and also my programmer and all they do is just follow these step by step instructions. And, I’ll make sure I put a copy of it down here so that you can download in a Word document or PDF format and just copy it and use it. You know I got no problems with you just using it because that’s how I’ve used it to set it up with all my teams. All right, as you can see right here, here’s a simple checklist and steps setting up a WordPress site. This is the first thing that we need to do. It’s before you do set it up, you need to obviously get your domain name, and we’ve talked about that as well previously because after you’ve done your research, you’re going to purchase your domain name. Then after that, get some web space, hosting and it’s very, very cheap to host to your website on those shared service and then get straight into setting up the WordPress.

So the first thing as I’ve mentioned here to tell them to do is purchase domain name and also from Namecheap and then setup the domain on hosting on number 2. Okay so those are the two important things. Let me just minimize this and I’ll jump over to my screen, my web browser.

All right, this is Namecheap.com, an excellent place to get domains quite cheaply, that’s the reason why it’s called Namecheap. I’ve been using this to host all my domains that I have and I think from memory, every domain cost me about around about $10.15, $10.16 US per domain so if you are looking to purchase domain cheaply, this goes for the whole year. And, if you’re doing what Pat’s done, you can actually purchase through Bluehost and get one domain for free. That’s only if you don’t have hosting with Bluehost already. Because I’ve already got a hosting with Hostmonster which is also a subsidiary of Bluehost, I can’t keep in free domain names obviously. So what I’ve done is I keep buying domain names through Namecheap.com, and through Namecheap, I just link them straight over to Hostmonster. So check it out, it’s an excellent domain name place for that. There are few other around but this is the one I prefer to use.

Setting up hosting is quite simple as well. Once you’ve got domain name, you get to set up the hosting to host all your files in your server and I recommend using Hostmonster. Hostmonster is only $5.95 per month and they’ve always got special promos. You can sometimes get it down to probably as low as $4.95 per month but you know, $6 per month is absolutely nothing. If you can’t afford to that, then obviously there’s something that you’ll need to consider because it’s only going to be less than 100bucks a year to be able to host your website and also have a domain name which your website should be earning more than that. It should cover the cost. All right, I won’t go into too much detail about how to set that all up, it’s pretty simple. Just follow the step by step instructions provided by these hosting companies and you’ll be up and running. All right, let’s jump over now to have a look at the next step.

All right, the next step is to install WordPress, downloaded from WordPress.org and also install then upload Robots.txt file. All right so let’s just jump straight in. Once you’ve setup the account with Hostmonster, just simply get a FTP server program which I use which is called Filezilla and also all my staff uses as well. That’s for Mac and I know that it’s also available for PC as well. Once you’ve got that setup, then what you want to do is to upload your files into obviously your server. And, I’ve already setup…or they’ve got that setup for me already, and you can see right now this is just a WordPress site that we’ve already got up and running which you can see that it’s got everything already loaded in there. But if you’re to have a plain, basic website it’s just widened say WordPress at the top. Now this is just the plugin that you see here. You’ll see he’s loaded up a plugin called PopupDomination and it’s an excellent plugin that I’ve been using. It does cost some money to get but once you’ve got it, it’s really, really powerful because it pops up in front of people with different types of styles and gets them to opt-in. And the goal for my website that I want to setup here is to be able to get as many people opt-in to the database so I can build relationship with them and then potentially down the track, start selling things to them as well. All right, I’ll close this up.

Now, this is just a customized theme from Woothemes that I’ve been using. Now you can purchase that as well from Woothemes and it’s a very, very lovely theme. What we’ve just done is just taken everything out such as the headers and stuff and then replaced it with the correct headers to match our 3daydetox niche market. And, you can just see here how simple it is. There’s nothing more than just a few articles I’ve already posted on the left here and then the 3daydetox plan subscribe. What I’ve been trying to do is just encourage people to subscribe to the newsletter or to subscribe to download something just as a gift. That way, I can get them onto the database. That’s really what my goal is, it’s not to start selling anything on this website right now. All I want to do is get them to hop onto database and build relationship with them and that’s just a strategic way to go about it because I want these customers for long term and I’m not looking to make quick selling right now.

Now you might be wondering, “Why are you putting advertising here on the right?” Well, just in case people don’t want to subscribe, they might also click on these and just go to affiliate links here if they want to do that. And it’s just quite common to post advertisements on the right hand side. Most people usually see it and might click on it and you might get a very, very small percentage but it’s just better to have it there. Over here, it’s just simply the articles that we’ve been writing and we put together. A lot of these articles that you see here are all specifically targeted towards the 3 day detox and my virtual assistant has been working quite hard putting these together and we’ve got probably about 15 articles already scheduled ready to go out but we’ve only posted a few so that we can get this blog showing with some articles. So once you set that all up, it’s as simple as putting articles in there and if you just scroll right down here, it’s pretty simple. There’s not much more to it.

I’ve kept it as simplistic as possible. The reason behind that is that you don’t want to distract your reader’s attention or your potential client from seeing what’s there. I’m just going to pop into the backend and also open up my task list right now for you. And, basically this section here…I’m just going to skip this is something that you can copy and paste which is uploaded robots.txt file and I’ve got that all attached as well down below. You just simply upload that and it allows any Google search engines to crawl your website. But the next thing is just important which is completing the WordPress site.

There’s a few main things that they need to do or you need to do to be able to have your website up and running for WordPress. Now these are just these extra plugins that I have. You don’t have to use all of them, you can choose or pick which ones you think are suitable and I’ve obviously listed the ones that I think are most important. And, as I said not all of these are important so these are all the things that I installed and I setup as well. I want to jump back to WordPress right now.

All right so these are the plugins right here. And, I’ve just got a few plugins actually, don’t have too many. I think the most important ones in my opinion are probably the Google Analytics to be able to track what’s going on and how much traffic getting through and Google XML sitemaps which basically is just submission to Google and you want to have that installed. Those are probably one of the most important plugins I think for the website. If you don’t have any of the plugins installed, these are probably the only ones I recommend, highly, highly recommend.

All right, that’s pretty much it. I think that’s…that’s something that you need to probably just spend a bit of time. But once you’ve done that, what I’ve got done is I’ve had just 7 posts currently, all put inside and we’ve scheduled it to actually have it posted out one a day just temporarily just to get these posts into the blog that way we get some comments then. The reason why we’ve done that is because it’s not very wise to actually have maybe one or two posts because say you’re getting traffic to the website, people want to start reading articles. So at least a minimum of seven articles on your website spread over each day not one day and you post seven articles but one a day. That way, you can just get some content out there and furthermore, Google sees that and will probably index that as well.

And, what we’ve done very successfully is that there’s an article that we have written up about 1500 words and we split it up into three parts because it’s actually quite long. That way, you’ve got a three part series already there and you’ve already got three articles written. So just consider something like that. And, it’s just important to basically lay it out nicely as well.

I think that’s what’s important right now. The next step I’ll probably be showing you in the next video is to probably how to setup the articles and get them written and then also start marketing out there onto the Internet. But the most important thing here is just to show you exactly how I’ve gone about setting up the WordPress site at 3daydetoxhq.com and as I’ve said it’s just a simple to-do list which anyone can just follow and implement. It doesn’t take very long, it just takes a bit of time to get it setup and once you’ve set it up, then the next process is really just to automate your article submissions and also set that up.

Hi it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. Firstly, I want to say big thank you for everybody who’s left a comment and also participated in this as well and for the people who also gave me some really positive and also critical feedback, constructive criticism there I really appreciate that because I’m learning as much as I can in this challenge and so as Pat as well. So I want to let you know I’m not an expert in any of these. If you ask me anything about outsourcing, I’ll be able to tell you all about it and automation but when it comes down to setting up niche websites, and building them and getting them to do the market research and so forth I’m not the best at it. That’s why I’m doing this challenge because I want to learn and also be able to share this with you, my ups and downs.

So what I want to share with you today is to give you an overview of where I’m at, at the moment and also to inform you that I have had to change my niche because the niche that I’ve chosen isn’t viable and I want to also tell you why it’s not viable as well then go through the steps. After that, I’ll show you how I came about the next niche as well. So let’s just jump straight into my Google search engine window on my Internet Explorer first and I want to show you what happened here.

Firstly, I chose baby predictions based on the top 10 results that I was provided for my virtual assistant and after reviewing it and doing a little bit more keyword research into it, I realized that firstly, there’s too much competition and secondly, I based my predictions or all my search on exact keyword terms and I’ll give you an example what I mean by that. Currently I’ve typed in Baby Predictions here and what you’ll see here it’ll return about 1.79 million results which is a lot of results. But this is what we’ve called a broad term search here and that means that anything that has baby predictions inside its website or so forth, it’ll come up. But what I did was I tried to narrow it down, and I’ve put in quotation marks around it and I clicked search there and that came up with 11,100 results which was good in many ways because it was less than the criteria I was looking at which was under 30,000 competing websites but the problem was that not many people type in quotation marks baby predictions. That was the mistake I made there.

Second thing as well I want to share with you the competition as I said. So let me just take my Market Samurai screen for you and I’ll show you right here, we’ve plugged in straight into Market Samurai and it showed me exactly where the competition lies. And, originally when I did a search based just on baby predictions as the keyword term and have it in quotation marks, it basically brought a PR between 0 to about 2 so it’s an average of 0.7 something which was not accurate because not many people search on that term. Now when I did it on a broad search, it brought back these results which was quite competitive — like 4, 3, 4, 4, 4, 3…and once you get above those, it becomes extremely, extremely high. And, I wish I had actually run these figures through earlier just to make sure but this is why I’m learning and also realizing that this was a big mistake. For the big takeaway lesson on this is to make sure that you are doing a research based on the broad match term or broad keyword and also to make sure that when you check the competition, there is not too much competition there. So that’s a big mistake I think a lot of people make when they’re going to starting a niche market and obviously I’ve shown you what I’ve done wrong as well. So hopefully you can see not to go down that path.

All right so what I want to jump into now is before I go into, if you don’t have Market Samurai, I highly, highly recommend getting a copy of it because it will speed up your time to do the researches that I’ve been able to do and I’ll show you right now. So what I’m going to do right now is I’m going to show you exactly how I came about to find my next niche market which will show you exactly what happened. All right, so rather than just saying look you know, I don’t want to go to that market anymore, I just thought I’ll jump back into the 10 hot market researches that we’ve previously done and my virtual assistant came out with all these niches that we’ve potentially gone into based on Clickbank results. And, the first one I just went okay, I’ll just take raw food detox and raw food detox was something that I’ve just punched straight into Market Samurai. So let’s take this and I’ll show you exactly what I did in Market Samurai and I’ll show you how I came about this final result which I’ll let you take judgment whether or not this is a good market to jump into.

All right, I’ve jumped into Market Samurai and I punched in the keyword term niche that I want to look into called raw food detox and after doing a simple generic keyword term search just to see what other key terms or keywords can come up, it brought up with all these results down below. All right, now I’ve got a certain specific criteria here and I followed the things that The Challenge which is held by Ed Dale and his team that’s held every year, I’ve just taken his criteria and plugged them straight into here. And, the first thing I wanted to just mention is the SEO Traffic. They said that you have to have a minimum or should have a minimum of 80 searches per day, so I’ll punch that in and then Phrase-to-Broad match ratio, they said at least a minimum of 15%. That basically means that whatever key terms are to find inside say for example searches, if you have a long term keyword if say raw food detox is located in raw food detox headquarters or shop or whatever, it will make sure that it’s got no more than 15% match. All right so I’ve punched that in and I’ll click Refresh Filters. And what happened is that there’s all these results that’s just been filtered and showing right here. And once I’ve done that, I’ll usually just sort it by searches over here and you’ll see that obviously there’s a lot of big searches but what’s most important is to eliminate the competition. So I’ve done the Analyze Keywords and checked out to find out whether or not these keywords have all these competition. Now, what I’ll do is also too you need to look at having a maximum of 30,000 competing websites and that’s the criteria that I just went by on The Challenge and it is very, very powerful to actually mind that down and I’ve showed you previously my mistake on what I didn’t look out for. So I’ll click Refresh Filters here. And, you’ll see right here SEOC which anything below 30,000 has popped up and obviously you can see the results were dramatically reduced. Now, what I did was when I went through this, I basically just opened up each and everyone of these just went through step by step systematically just to check what kind of competition there was. And, interestingly enough, I came across 3 Day Detox diet or 3 Day Detox keywords and I basically just run a SEO Competition on this and guess what, PR came out to be quite nice. It was actually all lower than the two’s and the three’s. I’ll switch a few of things off just so that it doesn’t confuse you. Let me just close this…okay, it’s a lot easier to see. In this matrix here, you can see a lot of green which means the greens are actually a very, very good thing means there’s not much competition in certain areas.

And the most important thing is for me when I look at this is PR whether or not there’s any competing websites with any PR above 4 say 3 or 4. Once you get 3 or 4, it’s very difficult to compete. But as you can see in the 3 day detox keywords, you got 1, 1, 2, 2…etc and as you can see these words here, or these PR websites are not very, very highly ranked which means this is a good niche to jump into and there’s a high potential for me to get my website ranked up high. Furthermore, not many have very high backlinks as you can see here, probably 178 which one little article blitz I could probably blit it more than that in a few goes. Furthermore, a lot of them don’t have any targeted URL and Description header of all these in it. So as you can see, it makes it all easy in here.

Now in The Challenge when I was just reviewing, they just said you should have at least a minimum of two green lines completely across. If you’ve got two green lines, it means it’s going to be a market that’s viable and it’s a market that you’re going to be able to hopefully are competing. So basically I’ve decided 3 Day Detox has enough search, has enough or not much competition and also seems to be quite a market that is going to be people are buying particular products in. The other way for me to know is obviously when I offer those products to see if they convert.

So that’s basically what I’ve decided it’s I’ve decided to be doing a bit more research. I changed the market, the niche into 3 Day Detox and I’ve purchased the domain. Now we’re getting the articles written up and then soon we’re going to have market onto the Internet so that we can get into Google and start ranking as well.

So stay tuned for the next video which I’ll be showing exactly what the site looks like and what I’m doing as well. This is just to clarify with you, showing you and seeing…of sharing with you exactly what’s happened and how I’ve gone about to find another market that’s a lot more viable for our challenge.

Hi it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. Today, I want to share with you what I did over the weekend. Over the weekend, I attended a little seminar held by Dale Beaumont called Profile Profits and Dale Baeumont is a very, very successful…he’s one of the best-selling authors all across Australia within the business category section for his Secrets Exposed series. And his Secrets Exposed series have just traveled across the world particularly in Australia where he’s interviewed numerous successful experts from property, all the way to male entrepreneurs, to female entrepreneurs, anything that you can think of.

And, from those books a lot of people have been inspired to take their own journey to be successful in whatever they do. So what I wanted to learn from Dale, the reason why I attended this event on the weekend was to learn how he was able to market his books and to be able to get his profile up there very, very quickly. If you don’t know Dale, you don’t know his little story, you should probably hop onto his site at DaleBeaumont.com.au and he will share with you everything inside there. But, just a very short story is that Dale used a lot of public…or press releases and also publicity to be able to get a lot of free marketing you can per se to get his book out in the market and also generate a lot of sales.

So in the whole seminar that day, he shared with us how he did that and also how he created a best-selling book as well. So in today’s video, I want to share with you the three top things that I learnt just from going to the seminar and what things I’m going to take away as well and implement into my business. Potentially if you’re looking to do a best-selling book, you can do this as well. Okay so the three top things that I learnt from the seminar was, the first thing was to actually to think about what type of market you’re going to be targeting in and you want to write a book that’s going to be targeting to a particular market.

I see a lot of people just go in there and potentially write a book to be able to get a profile and become an author but they don’t realize what kind of market they’re targeting at and Dale went quite a lot in detail about how to go about researching and looking online. And, a lot of people nowadays don’t realize the power of using just simple Google to be able to generate some results and get a survey done. What Dale talked about was to get a ad say through Google Adwords. Get people click on that ad and jump over to a survey landing page and through that survey landing page, ask them exactly what they want, what they want to learn about. And that’s how he was able to generate a lot of results basically from the market finding out what the market wanted and put this other book together. So that’s something that I learnt really, really it’s important to survey your market.

And I know I’ve done that for my program, for MassOutsource.com and successfully been able to coach and train the students because my students want to learn those things. So I basically gave them all the information, I have my brain and just tapped it inside the Mass Outsource Mastermind course, so that’s the first point I learnt from that.

The second point is if you want to be a best-selling author, you don’t want to just release one book, we’re talking about releasing series of books and the most important thing about releasing series of books is that people, once they read your first book, maybe interested in buying another book, but it’s not about that but it’s about continuity of actually the books. That’s the stumbling block for me so I’m not perfect. So he talked about dumping down on piece of paper say five different books that you’re going to create. Potentially 5 books to start off with because you’re going to think about writing a series of books. And the importance to doing that is not many people are able to think about writing 300-400 page book in one time and you don’t want to overwhelm the person reading the book. Apparently, the most successful ones, the most successful books were really, really short ones they go for about 40 to 60 pages. If you’ve heard of The 1-Minute Manager, Who Moved My Cheese?, all written by Spencer Johnson they’re very, very successful books as they’re very short but there are also a series of books as well. So I thought series of books and Dale’s written 15 of these so you can obviously see why he’s successful.

Then the last and final point that I learnt in my…from my whole time being there was to look at the printing process or the publishing process. He’s talked about publishing it yourself instead of getting a…book company to be able to publish it for you. And, it’s not just because of the cost wise but also too you have a lot more control and also you can obviously get a lot more profit margin. Say for example instead of receiving say 90% of the profits when you publish the book yourself, you may only receive about 10-30% of the profits and it’s a substantial margin when you’re looking at turning over quite a number of books.

Dale has successfully sold over 200,000 of his books across the market. So you can imagine if you had sold 200,000 of these books to about $30 each, you can imagine what the profit margin would be compared to say doing and getting someone else to print the books for you.

So I think those are the three things that I learned over a whole day and I really, really had a great time with Dale. I went up and have a chat with him as well, and shook his hand and also just introduced myself. And, Dale if you’re watching you’re watching this as well, I hope that we can catch up as well for another video and do something else together too.

It was really good and I hope that you’ve taken some points away. If you want to be a best-selling author, it’s very, very important to follow some of the steps that Dale has. Potentially down the track, I’m looking to do something like that just to increase my profile and to also get exposure because by having a book out there, it can also be a lead generator for your backend stuff which will talk about a lot on this side as well.

Firstly, a big big thank you for coming onto the site and also participating in the challenge and also leaving your feedback and showing the support both Pat and I have been extremely, extremely overwhelmed for this and was so, so happy for you to be there to be there watching us and learning from us as well. So, hopefully what we do will provide you some really, really good value on everything that we do.

All right, so as I said I’ve brought probably what I wanted to share with you today exactly how I go about searching for a niche market and also what market I’ve chosen as well so that way you can see what’s going on. I did have a little bit of a headstart in front of Pat on Monday. Pat was telling me he hadn’t started until probably Tuesday or Wednesday to choose his market where I already had chosen that, or actually my team had chosen that for me and done the research already on Monday so I was up and ready to go. At the moment, I’m currently getting the articles currently produced and we’re getting the website completed. It’s almost finished in its development stage but I’ll show you that in another tutorial.

What I want to share with you today is exactly how I went about or how we went about looking for market in the niche topic that we’ve chosen. So let’s start first. The first thing we’ve done is…we’ll go through and actually look at how we go about it. First thing is we go through and go to Clickbank to find a particular product and that particular product will help us determine whether or not we can go into that market. I know that there’s usually different ways to go about searching your niche market. You can choose it based on your passions, you can choose it based on what things you don’t like, something similar to what Pat’s done. What we’ve done is we’ve just gone directly on Clickbank and just looked at different topics that are available there and decided based on those topics which ones we’re interested in going to and we’ll jump into those.

I can also share with you as well, we based our strategy a little bit very similar to Adam Short’s Niche Profit Classroom so as it’s very simple and his strategy’s quite simple as well, so we’ve just taken that on board and start to implement it as well. All right so the first thing is go to Clickbank and simply click on Marketplace over here. What I usually do is once we’ve gone in the Marketplace, I’ll click on the Advanced Search here too. Once I’ve clicked into Advanced Search, what you’ll find is there’s going to be a lot more categories and also a lot more detail fields you can fill in. The reason why I don’t just jump straight into the Marketplace to find a product straightaway is because I want to filter it straightaway so I don’t have to go through all those products because there are thousands and millions of products inside Clickbank.

I don’t usually type in the keyword, not that I need to but the most important thing is to determine the Category that I want to go into and there are few categories here which makes it very easy. The category that we chose and jumped into was Parenting and Families because the virtual assistants, my virtual assistants are actually very interested in that topic so I said just choose the topic that you’re interested in and basically go from there. So we’ve chosen Parenting and Families and then make sure we also choose a Gravity. We chose a gravity that was greater than 7. The reason why we’ve chosen gravity greater than 7 is because it goes to show that our product is actually selling and affiliates are selling products. Anything above 7 means that the product is going to sell and you don’t want to go for anything less than 7. Zero basically means that the product doesn’t sell and just sits there and no one else is promoting it so anything above 7 is great.

So we’ll click Search and then from here onwards, you’ll be populated with few products that are available in Clickbank and showing right here now there are 13 products in the Parenting that have gravity greater than 7. So I’ll just scroll down…okay we didn’t choose this first product because we were not interested in talking about pregnancy but what we did choose was “Plan your baby boy or girl” which had a gravity greater than 7 which is around 31.32. From there, what we did was we took the keywords that we saw in the description and what it could be targeting and it seems like the keywords here were “baby gender planning”. All right so now that we’ve chosen the product that we want to sale which provides quite a high sale, it says here the highest payout commission here of $47/sale in $17 one-time offer which means that it’s showing it’s selling for about $30. I didn’t really say look choose the one that was highest paying but basically we chose something that was reasonable and something with a reasonable high payout is good as well and that’s how we go about choosing a product, okay. And also, choose a product that you’re interested in as well that potentially may have a market. So once we’ve chosen that, we’ll just highlight “baby gender planning” and what we do next is to jump into Google Adwords tool and you can find the Google Adwords tool directly through Google search and once you’ve gone there, you’ll be taken straight to this page. I’m still using the old Google Keyword Tool right in front of me. There is an option to use the new one but the old one I think works better and provide you the results a lot faster and quicker too. So what we’ll do is we’ll go right here, enter one keyword and phrase per line and I’ll put in baby gender planning. So I’ll click there and it’ll pop up with the list of results down below.

What we want to find is anything with Global Monthly Search Volume of 100,000 above which would be basically the terms which we’re going to be choosing from. Anything below, you don’t get very much traffic from that way, anything above 100,000 there’s potentially traffic from people searching for it. So that’s the first thing we get to do, it’s to determine which keyword that we want to optimize for and use for our domain name and also what we want to write our site will be all about. And what we found is there are “gender predictor”, “gender prediction”…one thing I just want to mention is don’t choose anything that has “free” or like a calculator or anything of that because people usually just want those things for free. Ultimately, what we want to look for are…keywords that are going to be money-making keywords and this is what I’ll talk about in short moment as well and how we chose this. So “gender prediction” is something that’s above a 100,000 and we ended up coming on this or using this particular word was because “gender prediction” had a broad keyword search of 135,000 and we’re going to be targeting at “baby predictions”. So I’ll go here and I’ll type in gender predictions. Okay so we chose baby gender predictions, so gender predictions and when we did a little bit of research with gender predictions in Google, so I’ll just copy this and jump into Google, this is the part where you’ll be finding out about a competition to see what’s going to be or how many websites are competing for this keyword term. So I’ll put this in quotations basically to see how many people searching this. So as you can see the gender predictions, it shows that there are actually 7,190 results and what I also see as well is based on these results search, I’ll go through and have a look at each individual website. And one thing I just want to mention as well is to install a plugin called SEOQuake. This plugin here allows you to determine straightaway just at a glance what the PR of each site is.

Now I understand that Pat has Market Samurai which I also do have as well. I don’t…I haven’t used Market Samurai in this instance because I wanted to actually show you the free method of how to do it without having to purchase Market Samurai. So basically what we’ve done is that we’ve done gender predictions and displayed 7,190 results. If you’ve got SEOQuake installed which is over down here, you’ll that it’s active which should bring up these little things that says here PR4, PR4, PR3, PR3, PR3, etc. Now, what I’d do is I’ll add up all these ones…okay 2, 3, 4, 3, etc and just basically add those all together and that should give you an average and that average number you go to divide it by ten or how many lists you got in there. What I found was when I added all these up, it gave a number over 3 which meant if it’s got a PR3 and above, it’s quite hard to actually to optimize for and get yourself ranked on search engine so therefore this particular term “gender predictions” is already in itself quite competitive and that’s kind of market you want to try to avoid. You want to try and find websites that have 0, 1, 2 at most and when you add them up, it should be between a figure of 0 to about 2 to 2.5 PR. Anything more than that, you’ll probably just want to keep away from. Okay, so that’s basically how we did that.

Now after testing a few more keywords which I won’t go through in this step and process exactly how we did that in detail but I’ve gone through which ones and we actually came across “baby predictions” and what you’ll see here, it came up with 2, 3, 3, 2, 0, 0, 0, n/a, n/a, 0 so it was looking good. And I’ll show you exactly what happened, this is the thing when I got my virtual assistants to do research on the markets, I asked them to come up with top 10 markets that have those results.

All right so in front of me, the one that we chose based on all these different markets that we did research on was “baby predictions” and after adding all those numbers up, it actually came up to 0.7 which was a very, very good number for the average PRs that we totaled up together. And also these were the other markets that we did research on as well — Health and Fitness, Home and Garden, etc. and out of most of them just had a good result. The reason why is because it said good here and also excellent. But basically those two markets that we could have jumped into, one was Celiac Recipes which is on Cooking, Food, Wine and Special Diet or Parenting and Families which was baby predictions and that’s how we came about searching all that and putting all that together. All right so the next thing that I want to show you right now is how we found whether or not the market is good. So I’ll jump over right now.

There’s this thing called the MoneyWord Matrix. And what it is, is all you have to do is simply just run the searches which is basically what I’ve shown you and plug in those numbers. Once you plug in those numbers, you’ll see whether or not it’s a good keyword, or excellent keyword, or fair or poor keyword. Based on the results that we’ve found, I want to show you right now. Let’s say for example “baby predictions”, it had 11,100 results and we’ll jump back to and run the keyword results, it was between 10,000-20,000 so therefore it’s in the column right there now. Then the next thing is to look at the monthly volume searches. Based on the global monthly volume searches, we got 40,500 to display so if you look at that, it’s basically the monthly volume searches was more than a thousand which is a good thing and therefore that word, or that keyword is actually good. So that’s what you want to be able to find. If you can find that kind of keyword or that kind of market, then you already got yourself a good start and that’s how we determined this here to be good. All right so what happened was we did some research and babypredictions as a domain name is not available, but we are able to get mybabypredictions.com which is available. So that’s what we’ve done it’s that we’ve chosen this one, the website’s being setup in WordPress and the next steps is to basically fill this with content and start our search engine optimization process.

All right, I hope that goes through and explains to you how I went through that process and how we determined all of the markets that who are going to get into and finally came to this one market. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. I hope now that you can see how Pat’s strategy and my strategy is going to be…you know, quite competitive and also challenging. I’m quite excited to share this all with you because we’re going to see some really good results very soon. I should also mention too it’s that everything that has been done so far has been outsourced to my virtual assistants and my team of yeah, programmers as well so they’ve been doing this as well for me. All I’ve been doing is just making sure and overlooking whole process.

Hi, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. In today’s video tutorial, I’m going to be answering a question from one of my subscribers and they ask me what is the best teleconferencing service or webinar service that I use.

Now, there are two of them that I recommend to use. The first one that I recommend is Calliflower and the second one is GoToWebinar. I’ll show you in this video inside exactly the two differences or the main differences between both of them.

So let’s firstly jump over to Calliflower right here. You’ll see Calliflower, it’s quite easy to spell. It’s Calliflower.com. Calliflower, I specifically use it just for teleconferencing services. It’s like as though I have a hall meeting room or lecture room where I can just hear the audio and I can hear people raise their hand and also speak to me in the teleconferencing service. I use this specifically for all the members inside my mastermind group so if I have say 50 people who are interested in attending the call and have questions to ask me, they are able to log in to the service for free using Skype and basically be able to raise their hand and ask me any question they want or be able to convert with me in a conversation.

Now, this does cost a little bit of money per month. It’s about $50 per month to be able to use this software or this tool online but it is well, well worth it because you can host up to I think 200 people inside teleconference all at one time. The beauty about this is that you can manage everyone all inside the control panel. So let me just log in just to show you what it looks like in the sample of how my solution works.

All right so if you have a look inside Calliflower, what you’ll find is that this is my Call Dashboard and whenever a meeting starts, there’s a scheduled meeting with the scheduled time. When you scroll down to the bottom here, what you’ll see is there are confirmed participants and if you come down to here where it says “Participants on the call”, when we’re on the live call, I’ll be able to see participants participating in the call. Usually, at the top of each participant’s name, it has the call button and also raise hand button. If the person has raised a hand, I’ll usually mute their line and they’ll be able to speak to me.

This is how a teleconferencing service works within my teleconferencing area and this is really powerful when you’re holding a teleconference between multiple people because people are going to be able to listen to you ]at the same time and communicate with you while you’re talking to and answering questions to your students. So that’s the software and the tool that I use to do and hold my teleconferencing services which is Calliflower.

The next one that I want to show you is GoToWebinar. GoToWebinar is slightly different to a teleconferencing service. The powerful thing about this particular tool is that it allows you to have same again, hundreds of people to be able to log in at the same time. But instead of just being in audio, you’ll actually see a visual presentation. What you could do is to be able to capture what you’re currently doing in a presentation way and be able to broadcast it out to numerous people who are on the webinar and be able to see what’s going on.

Just imagine or picture yourself in a lecture hall within a University kind of setting and you’ve got a one board or one slideshow presentation at the beginning and you’ve got someone running through that presentation and you’ll hear them talk about through their notes and presenting as well. GoToWebinar is all like that and it’s just all online. Same thing again, it doesn’t cost a little bit money to buy this but once you have this setup, this GoToWebinar is very, very powerful and it allows you to record everything that you do. Furthermore, if you’re like me as online Internet marketer, once you recorded these, you can put these webinars into product which you can sell later on down the track.

Sometimes you can sell these products anywhere between $97 up to $200, $300 per product as long as you have the right material and it’s got the right wordings.

So this is the next software that I use and it’s very, very powerful. Once again, it’s something that would be able to create and generate nice presentations for you online inside the Internet web-based setting.

All right, those are the two pieces of software that I recommend to use and this is in answer to a question from one of my subscribers and I hope that it helped you to give you a clear idea of how to go about holding teleconferences or webinars online. In my opinion, these are one of the cheapest or the most affordable solutions online for teleconferences. Hi it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. I wanted to share with you something that’s really exciting and I’m really, really pleased to be doing. Pat Flynn from Smart Passive Income and I are going to be doing a little friendly little challenge where we’re going to be putting together some niche websites and we’re going to be posting all about our little journey about creating these little niche websites. Basically, this little challenge that we’re going to be doing is we’re going to be starting from scratch, so absolutely zero, nothing. And, what we’re going to try to do is we’re going to specifically find some niche areas or niche markets and create these websites to be able to generate and monetize and make income from them, passive income that we’re talking about.

And, both Pat and I have had a little discussion behind the scene, just a chat to find out exactly what kind of guidelines and strategies we’re going to implement as well. So, what I’m going to show you right now is firstly, how are we going to implement this, what we’re going to provide for you so that you’ll see behind the scenes kind of things, and then lastly, what are the results that’s going to be as well. So the first thing is the guidelines. There’s pretty much no colons in place to be honest, there’s only one thing that we’re going to test it by — it’s that we’re not going to use advertising, paid advertising to generate traffic, anything else we’re just going to implement our strategies that we know of, on how to implement niche websites or create niche websites and profit from them. So it could be anything from starting on generating traffic from Google search engines, we could use it from generating traffic from posting ads at the University, things like that. We’re going to be as creative as possible. So basically that’s what our strategy and technical guidelines are. As long as we just put things up that are not going to require us to spend any money on paid advertising, and we’re going to generate organically and traffic free from the search engines. That’s what we’re going to be doing. So that’s the first thing.

The second thing is the strategy: how are we going to do this? And, what we’re going to do? Well, both Pat and I have slightly different strategy which if you hop onto his blog, Pat’s going to explain to you his strategy so I’ll save that for him and to find out more about it, just simply go to SmartPassiveIncome.com and you’ll see right on his blog exactly how he’s going to implement it. Whereas, I’m going to share with you my strategy right now which is the exciting part because it’s slightly different to Pat, but essentially we’re going to try to achieve the same goal which is to achieve passive income from niche marketing website. All right so, first things first. What I planned to do is that I’m going to be doing some niche research and certain markets and then from there, I’m going to be selecting some affiliate products to promote. So that’s the first aspect.

The second aspect is I’m going to go ahead and build a WordPress website and from that WordPress website, I’m going to drive plenty of traffic in that particular niche to the website. And, I’m going to build a database from this so I’m going to get them to opt-in and once they’ve opt-in, they have to go through our follow-up process where over four to five emails or so, I’ll be giving them plenty information about that particular niche. From there onwards, I’m going to promote to them the affiliate products that I’ve selected and chosen. And then hopefully by then I’ve built up relationship with them, they’ll be interested in buying.

That’s basically the whole concept and strategy behind it. How I’m going to promote and get traffic through there is something that I’m going to be testing and playing around with and I’ll share with you intermediate results and also what I’m planning to do over the next few weeks. This is going to probably happen over a period 6 to 12 months that we’re going to be doing this little challenge over and every month we’re going to provide you an update of what our results are, how much we’re earning, what kind of traffic we’re getting, our strategies, what’s working, what’s not working, etc. So that’s basically how we’re going to go and play around with this challenge.

And, at the end of this challenge which we have yet to decide what the price is, we’re going to probably also want to encourage you to follow us and keep us accountable. That’s really the reason why we want to do this little challenge is to share with you exactly what we’re doing, how we’re doing and be as transparent as possible. And, we’re going to even tell you the niche that we’re going to get into. So, this I hope would be able to benefit for you and also at the same time, we’ll make some money along the side as well so it’s a bit of fun.

All right so that’s basically what I wanted to share with you today. I’m really excited as you can probably see, and I’m going to get started very soon. One other thing that’s going to make…or biggest difference between Pat and myself is that I’m going to be using or staff to be able to implement these niche sites. So, from the start of creating a WordPress blog, to writing articles and those kind of things whereas Pat has informed me that he’s just going to do it himself. I think we’re going to see some interesting results from that and we’ll really see what happens. But I just want to give audiences like yourself, you particularly the viewer to be able to see what kind of results we can achieve with different things. You can even put that on us, it’s open for us for you to do.

West: Okay folks, welcome to the call today and I’ve got Tyrone Shum on the call which I’m really excited about. Welcome Tyrone!

Tyrone: Thanks West, thanks for having me on the call today.

West: Now, the reason why I got Tyrone on the call today is because one, he’s making some serious lifts and downs in the outsourcing arena and that’s actually in the area where I’ve talked to people in the past how to find people online and have people work for them. Having discovered Tyrone’s work, I’ve actually learned a hell of a lot in Tyrone as well and I think what he has to offer has kind of enhanced what the old literature on outsourcing and automation has been all about. Today we wanted to talk about creating a lifestyle business rather than just an Internet business and maybe focus on some of the things that you can automate. This call will be ended to people who are looking to get into it but also it will add some value to people who already currently are doing it and looking at streamlining their processes. So Tyrone just give us a really quick piece for people who have known or heard of you before, a really quick rundown on your story and how you come to be where you are.

Tyrone: Cool. All right well, quick story was I’m from Sydney Australia. I started back in 2005 with my own first Internet-based business in Dragonboating. It’s just an E-commerce-based store and we had exclusive distribution of Dragonboat products all across Australia. For people who don’t know what a Dragonboat is, it’s where 20 people sits inside boat with paddles and just paddle down and race against each other. It happens pretty much every Chinese New Year and monthly all across Australia and these events are very big with a very, very tight niche there so if you haven’t done it before, hop in and test it out. I’m pretty sure it’s one of local talent here in Australia otherwise, it’s pretty sure it’s also big over in the U.S. and Europe as well. That was my business which I’ve sold and I started Internet marketing or Internet-based businesses after doing that as well just for my experience but prior to that time before I jump into starting my own blog and membership site and got into lot more details about teaching outsourcing people, I was struggling inside the Dragonboat business. As it was successfully making a six-figure income, I was working 60+ hours a week and because of that, I had to try and find a way to get out of it. I knew it because the Dragonboat business was a system and it was just something that I could easily outsource and find people to run it. When I did discover Tim Ferriss’ 4-Hour Work Week, that led me to look at strategizing my business and turn it into automated business so that I could outsource work as little as I can. It broke that business down from about 60 hours a week when I was working it down to about 10 hours a week. What I had done was outsource a lot of customer support which is taking a majority of my time, handling and dealing with all the sales inquiries and also packing and dispatching all the paddles across.

West: So the foundations were already there Tyrone and you were pretty good at this.

Tyrone: I was recently good at this. I was making a decent figure from my business and also having everything running but I was the one working, doing all the work but when I start to automate it and get it outsourced, I realized wow, how much of the time saving and leverage I could do for myself. That’s where I decided okay, people are asking me how do I do it and how do I set it up so I decided to teach people. I sold the Dragonboat business and started teaching people about outsourcing this as where I’ve really focused on where my passion in.

West: Wow, I guess that’s one of the first lessons already on the call. It’s basically you’ve listened to what people want and decided that it was a need and you catered to that need. You did create something in and tried to flag it to whoever. It’s definitely a demand there so tell us about the transition Tyrone from your Dragonboat business to applying outsourcing to your online businesses. So now you run a blog as well and you’ve got some other online ventures as the Dragonboat at the time.

Tyrone: Yup, well what I did was as I have little bit more time on my hands, I am working only 10 hours a week, I wanted to fill it up with something more interesting and more exciting as much as I design my lifestyle around that and have lot more freetime. I thought it’ll be fun to actually teach people as well and get into blogging because I wanted to share with people what I do as well. Interestingly enough, when I started sharing about these things, that’s when I started getting people subscribing to my blog and also checking it out, reading and following what I was doing. Then that’s where I created and got the demand for people for me to create the course Mass Outsource Mastermind which is teaching people to outsource their business and automate it and live the 4-Hour Work Week if you choose to decide that you want it. That’s where I really started it off from and then from there, I’ve grown my subscribers and readership between to about anywhere around 5,000+ subscribers at the moment and what I’ve noticed as well is I decided to implement few different systems like affiliate marketing and doing a lot of stuffs like that and been getting a lot of huge success with that as well. There are a lot of things that I’ve done but a lot of them are automated and all my virtual team basically once I’ve done a content production, it goes straight through to them and they post it for me, and have all these systems automated and distribute it for me and so forth and manage my blog.

West: Great, fantastic. Let’s sort of start from the beginning Tyrone, if someone’s looking at making the transition to outsourcing or maybe they sort of started or dabbled into it, what’s the first kind of strategic thing should I be doing or what kind of things should I be doing in order to look at a foundation for their new reenergized business that works hopefully without them?

Tyrone: Yeah, well first thing I learned just from experience. I’m going to talk about from my experience for this was that I wish I outsourced from the beginning before I even started the business. I realized at the beginning yes, some people may be starting out and they go, “Okay, I don’t have much cash and bit strapped to invest money into hiring people…” but it’s actually more work investment because what happens is it speeds up the process and it can grow your business much faster.

West: It’s a huge mistake isn’t it? Look, I’m going to admit that I’m guilty of that as well.

Tyrone: Don’t worry…

West: And, a lot of the people that I talk to now come to me and they say, “West, I’d like to start right now but I’ve been going for so long. I don’t know what to outsource and I don’t know where to start.” They just keep spending their time on small things…

Tyrone: And doing it all themselves.

West: Yeah, just trying to save a couple of hundred bucks and it’s cost them thousands.

Tyrone: Exactly, I’ll give you an example. When I first started the Dragonboat business, I thought I’ll just spend my time to creating the website and I actually dealt in program to PHP and even my background I used in Computer Science, I graduated Computer Science degree in UNSW. I did have the technical knowledge but the thing was it’s never ending. When I started creating the Dragonboat website, upload it and set it all up and things like that, I end up spending all my time doing all the technical side of things and I didn’t focus much on generating income from the business so that helped me back for good 3 to 4 months or so because all I was doing is developing the website, getting it out there and just trying to make it work. Whereas when I decide to hire someone who’s a programmer full-time, you can imagine that it only took him about a week to do the whole thing that I could do. I’m not an expert at PHP programming or computer, website building, WordPress and all that, I have the knowledge but I’m not an expert. Obviously, it took me about 3 to 4 months to learn and also to do it, whereas this programmer I hired, it took him a week. So imagine the time that I could have saved over those 3 months where those 3 months, I could have been spending the time and generating additional income, sales and so forth and outsource it. It cost me currently still $500 a month full-time for a programmer and I could have made easily $10-20,000 within a month just from selling products and so forth.

West: Exactly.

Tyrone: That was the biggest, biggest mistake I learned was to do it all myself and the first thing I usually topped with “outsource first” is if you’re running an online business, do all the technical stuff and get that all outsourced. If you decide to create a website or blog, just get it outsourced first, find someone to work for you even part-time just to setup your blog, setup your website. Even if you look at my blog right now, the Tyroneshum.com, I didn’t do any of that. I got someone to design the graphics, build it and put it all together. I did some and taught changes that I like but I didn’t physically go in there and program them myself. That was all completed within about 2 weeks so it’s pretty quick.

West: Well, I have to say pretty similar story with me Tyrone is that if you look at the history of my blog, it actually stood very static and very simple for about 3 or 4 years.

Tyrone: I think I noticed that.

West: Yeah, until I decided to get a full-time guy and just within 2 weeks, it was transformed and it looks fantastic that is something I couldn’t have done. The other point that I wanted to ask you is that people have said you know, “If I hire someone full-time, I don’t have enough work for them. That’s a big problem to me because I don’t want to always be feeling like I always have to be on someone’s back.” I don’t know about you but in my experience, when someone comes on board, there’s always stuff to do. Isn’t it?

Tyrone: Definitely, you may think that there’s not enough stuff to do. Well what I usually do is I firstly start off maybe if you feel that there’s not enough stuff to do, get the things that you think that you’re currently doing is non-productive. As I said at the beginning, website development, programming, handling customer support, those were the things that I outsource first to my full-time programmers and also my virtual assistants. Even just by doing that, you’ll realize that it does take a lot of time even though you may think that it only take me 2 hours a day to do all that, but when you get it outsourced, it does free up that time. Then, once they’ve learned those systems you’ve got them in place, and you feel that they’re completing it say, instead of 40 hours a week or they’re probably doing it 10 hours a week then those 30 hours a week, you could give them a full training course as a turn-key solution. I’ve given one of mine to do turn-key solution to do affiliate marketing for me. From there, she’ll go out and do the research, compile the content and send it over to my programmer who’ll compile the website for her, and then once it’s done she’ll setup all the rest of the systems to be able to promote and market other people’s products. I’ve made commissions through that, and I didn’t have to do any of the work to implement it and she did all the work as well.

West: So at the very basic, they can just pay their own wage from doing what you tell them to do.

Tyrone: That’s right, exactly. And, that in itself is already enough to cover for themselves. If you can imagine just hiring them for say, $300, $400 a month, then they’re making that minimum $400 a month plus doing the work you’re giving them on top of that, you’re actually on the surface. It’s uncommon for people not to be able to make money just from having someone doing the work because instead of you doing it, you’re getting someone else to do it, so that’s the power of outsourcing.

West: One other thing is you can leverage them. I mean if these people are paying themselves off, you can grow and you can grow quickly it’s not going to be a big drain on your cashflow.

Tyrone: Exactly, so that’s the biggest thing I recommend. Start finding someone at the beginning even though if you feel that you can’t do it, just borrow some money at the beginning just to start even. I’m pretty sure you’ve got at least 3-400 bucks just to put aside for hiring someone for the first month or two anyway. That’s how I found where I would probably recommend doing in starting at first anyway.

West: Absolutely. The other point I wanted to ask you Tyrone is you mentioned the word “turn-key” solution before and that concept that I think is pretty awesome because it basically doesn’t involve you and you can do whatever you want but intentionally when we explore this part, this is where you sat down, looked at the concept that makes money, put together a strategy, put together the tasks that they have to do, so you do the conceptual work and the brain, mastermind behind it. Then, you just basically give it to them on a platter and they just do their thing. Is that it?

Tyrone: Exactly. Well, it counts back down to 80/20 principle which is the Prieto’s Law where you should be spending at most 20% of your time to be able to think and create those concepts and strategies and once they put it together, let them do the 80% of the work which is where the Prieto’s Law comes in. Which allows us to be able to go okay, we’re just here as being the knowledge thinkers and the people who create these ideas and then all they’re doing is doing the action or taking action on completing the work for the things we’ve done.

West: That’s pretty cool coming from a tech guy! This is a revelation to me from someone who studied Computer Science.

Tyrone: Well, I’ll be honest with you. When I was in UNSW, I didn’t pay too much attention in the Computer Science classes. All my lectures that I did or I went, I did one in Physical Education which I love about health and sport, and the rest of them are Management subjects that I did. I did Business Management as one of my lectures and also one in franchising, and also I did another one in Human Resources Management as well. So those are the subjects that I’ve topped and got lots of distinctions in taking those. Whereas in my Computer Science subjects and computer programming, probably I got passes and stuff like that. You can imagine where my passions were and where I think I had something enough from.

West: Absolutely. So when are we going to see some bodybuilding pics of you on your blog Tyrone?

Tyrone: I don’t know about that one. I was even thinking about it actually, I was thinking, “Showtime: Bodybuilding with Tyrone Shum”

West: Wow, you can tell of anything with anything about these days aren’t you?

Tyrone: I don’t know, it’s been too revealing by request.

West: Fair enough, fair enough. I completely understand. So moving back to the automation and creating a lifestyle business. I wanted to talk now about some tools that you use because you’ve just made a post I’ve noticed on your blog and for people who haven’t seen it yet, go and check out the videos. Also, you’ve sent a broadcast email that has pretty much the links to all the tools that you use, but in this call if people haven’t read the blog or the email yet, let’s chat some of your private tools that you use in your business, for your staff, and things that really work that really completely free up your time and possible a worthy investment in taking on. I’ll share some of mine later if there’s time.

Tyrone: The first tool that I use pretty much on a daily basis just to check out and also to manage the team and making sure that things are running is the project management system. The project management system is key to any business and the system that I use is called ActiveCollab. You can buy that once-off or you can pay a monthly fee. It’s $400-$500…

West: 400 something. Yeah.

Tyrone: Yeah, $400 something for one-off license. You can install it on your server and maintain and keep it all for you so all your content are protected and so forth. But the key behind that system is that it allows not just one but multiple people to be able to login to the system and check out the projects that you have there. You can upload all like hundreds of hundreds of projects in there if you have that many running at the same time, and you have multiple staff managing, running and completing tasks. What I like about the project management system is that they’ve got Milestones in there, you can setup Tickets, you can also setup Discussion in there, you can also setup checklists so they can follow step by step on what needs to be done. As I said at the beginning, we’re really the thinkers and knowledge-processing people behind all this. So if you’ve setup your projects step by step and have them correctly trained in there with all the systems in place and the videos inside it, they can easily just hop in there, follow the systems and just do their work and complete the tasks.

West: Yeah, absolutely because I was actually watching some of the videos in Tyrone’s course which is fantastic course in the zone right? If you get a chance, definitely you check it out. One area, you put the passwords in and the logins so they don’t have to ask you for that and you put in all your training videos which you can use Jing Project to shoot free style or Camtasia if you want to do it more elaborated or in Mac you use Screenflow. Once you’ve done the work once, you know whoever you hire can just come in, log in, watch and off you go.

Tyrone: Absolutely. That’s what I found as being the most key and the crucial component of running an automated business. Without that, I can’t imagine myself being able to email them and having to communicate with a system like Google Docs or something like that. It just centralizes everything. I’ve had numerous members ask me “How did you manage to let them and feel free to access all your logins and so forth?” I think the thing is you just got to put trust into these people at the beginning. You get to also see where you’re going to hire. The people I hire is mostly directly from the Philippines, and they’re very loyal, very honest type of people and very, very hardworking type of people. So far in my experience, I’ve been very lucky and fortunate that they haven’t done anything that has been dishonest or wrong to my business that’s why I trust them 100% or 200% in my business. That’s why all my login information, private data, everything is all inside the system so that they don’t have to come back to me and ask me “Tyrone, can I get access to this, can I get access to that?” Otherwise, don’t want to just bug you down and delay a lot of your projects and moving forward to growing your business. Just want to add as well, one really good tool that I’ve been using a lot and also my virtual staff have been using is called LastPass. If you don’t want to store your information inside your project management system, you can use a software called LastPass which gives you access and also your staff access to the passwords on a secure server. If that’s something that you care for, you check that one out. It’s on LastPass.com

West: Awesome. I was going to say the same thing and haven’t had any problems with it. I think you’ve got to be smart with your hiring process. You’ve got to get them to jump through some hoops and you’ve got to test them.

Tyrone: Yep.

West: The people who come through for you, you’ve done the best that you can. If you blindly hire, then you know you’re asking for trouble.

Tyrone: Yeah exactly, you guarantee trouble. You just get to test them. Give them a run usually within the first two weeks or so, once you’ve hired someone you’ll know if they’re right for your business or not. If it’s not right, move on to the next one and just have to move on as quick as you can but once you’ve get them on board and they’re part of your team, nurture them, look after them, make sure you have lots of communication with them at the beginning, train them well and then just really give them lots of encouragement support. Everyday, when I get something back from them, I always thank them and say that they’re doing an excellent job and also that they’re doing excellent work. I always just compliment them and just give them a lot of encouragement and I find that they grow a lot faster and also they’re really committed to your business. That’s really a key-point I think.

West: And I find when you do that, because I give bonuses as well, they actually take more initiative and when you’re supposedly haven’t had time because you’re having a holiday and you haven’t had time throwing a few more things in the project management system, they’ve already done this and this. You’re like hey great job, keep it up!

Tyrone: Compliments always take you further so just remember they can never ever get to me in compliments. Always give them a good high-five, or just a nice compliment by saying thanks to them and keep up the great work always works.

West: Definitely. So tell us about how you kind of structured your week and possibly your interaction with your staff. I know Tyrone you have many interests outside of the Internet and I know you love what you do online but you also tell us before you’ve been bodybuilding, you like playing sport, you like going to places and experiencing new cultures that sorts of stuff and obviously you need time to do that. So tell us how you’ve managed to get that balance because many Internet marketers and people working online, they really don’t have that balance and it’s a skill and art itself.

Tyrone: Okay, let me just start off with I tried to stay healthy and as fit as possible and that’s something that it’s crucial to success because looking after yourself, eating right, training well and staying healthy basically by doing exercises is a key. I’m usually a pretty early bird type of person and I usually meet my gym buddy in the gym to train pretty early. I’m usually down by about 7 o’clock in the morning training for an hour and a bit. After I do that, that’s my first session just to get my energy levels up and really get started on my day. I’m kind of having bit cozy breakfast and I’m not doing much first thing in the morning. I’m kind of lazy around and watch a bit of TV and afterwards I probably hop on and start around 10 o’clock just to catch up with virtual staff to see what they’re doing. I hop on to the project management system and just look up and see what the progress is and if there’s anything that needs to be done urgently or they need to follow up, I’ll just save it if it’s been done and followed up. The majority of time, I don’t have to worry much because they do follow up all that for me and I just leave them on their hands.

West: So you inspect what you expect but you don’t get your hands dirty in the technical stuff. Beautiful.

Tyrone: Yep exactly, there’s no need for me to do that because that’s why you’re hiring them for. And, really most of my times I’ve spent time building relationships with people like yourself, and other Internet marketers, bloggers online and also I love to do interviews with people. Just really socialize with people to catch up and to see what things are going on. From there, onwards, I just produce content. It’s pretty flexible in my schedule, it’s not like rock-solid stuck in there where I have to go at 10 o’clock I get to do this, or 11 o’clock I have to do that. I only probably do that about 3-4 hours a day by choice that I wanted, because that’s what I enjoy doing. When you do something that you enjoy and you’re passionate about, it just becomes natural and you just have fun doing it. It does not feel like work for me, other people say that it’s work well for them it’s work. But for me, it’s just something that I love doing and I love helping people and I love teaching, I love sharing with people what I do. Then rest of the time we plan holidays. We plan to go to Bali in the next month or so, there’s a lot of things that we’ve got up and coming. Been just doing a lot of chilling out, catching on my hobbies that I enjoy doing as well.

West: Definitely because a launch especially is pretty time expensive isn’t it?

Tyrone: It is, it is. I think the things is you’ll put on the hard yards at the beginning and you make sure you have the systems in place. Once the systems are in place, it’s very easy for anyone to follow. For example, producing content from my blog, you might think that I do it everyday but I don’t. I spend probably once a month and I produce the content in bulk and just get it all done, and once it’s all done, I get my virtual assistants to get it posted for me on those days. I basically have a calendar which I put into place and that calendar lists out exactly which days I want these posts to be going on. All they do is they upload, produce the content and syndicate the content online for me and they manage the comments and so forth for me too.

West: I actually do the same thing with WordPress. There’s a scheduling tool where you basically you may get your guide as you schedule in the content. I’ve got content on my blog coming up until I think December this year.

Tyrone: Fantastic.

West: I don’t have to work on any more content until December this year if I walked away. That’s one of the automation tools that I really like but I’m sure there’s another ones that you use as well for marketing.

Tyrone: There is. There is something that I’m going to mention as well. It’s great to be able to use WordPress for scheduling for text posts and potential audio posts but for video posting it’s a little bit difficult because YouTube, Viddler haven’t had a scheduling tools. To overcome that, I use an online tool called TubeMogul and what I can do is I can upload and majority of my posts are videos so everything that you see is mostly in video online for my blog. I use TubeMogul and I upload all the videos up there but it doesn’t get sent out all on one day. It gets sent out on a scheduled time or scheduled date according to your calendar. That allows you to syndicate the content at the time or the date that you need it to be. If you use that tool, you can distribute to YouTube, Blip.tv, Vimeo, Viddler, all those big services, you can get the content out there distributed very quickly as well. It doesn’t cost anything, it’s free actually to that on a monthly basis as well. So that’s what I use to distribute content and have it syndicated out to lots of networks so people can check out the content too.

West: Sure. A great idea is to teach your virtual staff how to use the automated software so you name it on how to do it yourself.

Tyrone: Well yeah, I was going to say that as well. I’ve got the training materials and I’m not giving it if I haven’t already done it. I have already trained them how to do it, it’s already in the project management system. I’ve got if I remember correctly, 5-step process which they just follow step by step how to do; they take the content from the video site TubeMogul, click on the day to distribute it then after that they’ve got the audio file which they grabbed from Amazon for me. The transcript sorry, was previously done because that’s something that they have to do and they just schedule the post for me. Once it’s done they manage the content posting for me. Actually that post that you just saw that came out that was really scheduled previously and I forgot that I’ve done that and you saw it. Thanks for reminding.

West: No, it’s great when you log into your own blog and there’s new content up there and you’ve completely forgotten about.

Tyrone: It can be a problem actually sometimes because you go, “I thought I did that 6 months ago.”

West: Yeah but it’s definitely a good sign that what you’re doing is automated and you know, you’re free to live your life out however you want and you’re pretty comfortable that it’s going to carry on. Those are really good tools Tyrone and you can plug the same content for articles, with article distribution with lots of article distribution software, and there’s lots of automated article rewriting software particularly because Google and other sites tend to penalize duplicate content so you want to give it a different spin. I like to get my virtual staff to use the automated software and just check it, give it a human flavor so for me, English is important when hiring someone. For the most part of the Philippines, I found that English are pretty good but there are obviously people who specialize in it more than sort of the college graduates which Tyrone recommends staying away. I’m nothing against college graduates, we’re all college graduate ones but if you’re looking for fast results, you don’t want to be de-experienced for those college grads. You want them who’ve already had their experiences before they come working for you.

Tyrone: It saves you time to retrain them again because if they’re fresh out of college, you’ll spend a lot more time training them than someone who’s already had bit of experience and also who’ve worked in a workforce situation. They already know what a schedule’s like whereas with a college grad they might be going “It’s my life and I can do whatever I want.” so sometimes work is not getting done properly and that’s the reason why.

West: Then there are some online PHP type of automation programs that I’m seeing like for example the pop-up on Tyrone’s page and the “invite your friends” sort of viral invites, all these tools kind of save you tons of time doing it automatically. If you were to email each of that people and ask them to invite a friend, that would just take you ages but there are tools that we have at a disposal that we could just give to our developers for example just to implement and it’s all automated.

Tyrone: And that’s the beautiful thing. A lot of things here because WordPress is such a widely used system out there, they’ve got so many free plugins that you can just install, get it up and running straightaway. For example the TweetMeme plugin and the FaceBook share button, and also all these other excellent tools out there, it just automates everything for you. So as soon as a blog post comes up online, it automatically tweets onto your Twitter account, sends it to your FaceBook and you don’t have to physically have someone there posting it. Actually talking about that as well, what you need to do before you do hire someone as a tip to let you know how to streamline and get automation much faster, is look at the systems you currently have in place and see what you can automate with the technology and system without having to hire someone to do it first. If you can do that, it would also save you ample amount of time getting people to do. That’s what I think I also learn as well was with my Dragonboat business. There’s a lot of manual processing that I used to do until I got someone to program and create a software and automate it, it just blew my away that I could automatically send invoices to people without me doing it myself.

West: And one other program brings to mind Tyrone is a Macro program where basically you can automate any tasks down on a computer. Correct me if I’m wrong Tyrone but it remembers sort of the pixel that the cursor is on the screen. It clicks in sequence that the sequence teaches you to click. Anything that you have done online, you can schedule and it can remember the cursor clicks. It’s basically anything that you do online can be automated to a certain extent. Obviously I always have someone to check it later, you know if you’re using it to paste stuff, if you’re pasting it for $10,000 extra that’s going to cost you so you’re not going to do that. Sort of things like that.

Tyrone: Yeah I think if you can actually implement something like that, like Macros and so forth, those things will really, really save you a lot of time. Imagine if you sat there and you got someone to click through there 10 hours a day just clicking through to post articles and so forth that you can have a system to do that automatically for you. Wow, you could have saved yourself a lot of money too.

West: Absolutely, one of the things I’ve just done recently is I bought an extra computer. I don’t ever intend to use it. It’s used for 2 things, it’s used for automating tasks that I don’t want happening on my working computer and it’s also used when my virtual staff need to login remotely. If I have a big video that I get edited or big video file, on my end I don’t want to upload 2GB DVD video so I have my video on my computer and they basically edit and upload it from there. I give them access, I teach them how to do it and that computer is pretty much for my virtual staff to login once they had problems with getting in cPanel from their IP. When their IP is having problem with getting blocked from my webhost, we just go through all these hassle and I’m going to login to cPanel from here. By the way I use Teamviewer and LogMeIn for that, both free software that work fantastic. Teamviewer if it’s only a one-off login, LogMeIn if you want to get permanent access and they can just login whenever they want. The only catch is you have to leave your computer on all the time, obviously you’ll not get access to a computer that’s switched off.

Tyrone: Of course, that’s a really good idea. That’s something new that I just learned from you today. Actually that’s not bad to setup a separate computer to do this specific type of stuff. Yeah, if you can give them to click through and do that for you, you can just leave the computer on but obviously if you’re traveling, you won’t be able to do that too often.

West: Yeah, the thing is if you need to access anything while you’re traveling, I just use my iPhone. I have a Teamviewer app on my iPhone and LogMeIn in that and I can access my computer from wherever I am on the world. It’s beautifully on the iPhone and you can check on them if you want to as well so it’s something that’s kind of worked for me and it’s good little thing that I just thought I have implemented.

Tyrone: That sounds interesting and kind of give it a shot but whenever I travel anyway, I don’t usually take any technology stuff with me.

West: Well, that’s fine, I mean obviously you put on your computer only with what’s relevant on the virtual staff. One other thing I wanted to mention just before we wrap up because it’s been pretty content-packed call, is the fact that Tyrone before we actually we went live, we were actually talking about implementation. You’ve heard a lot of good things on the call today. What Tyrone does because he tends to forget what he’s learned on a call or calls so he basically implements it immediately. So Tyrone tell us sort of your process around that because one of the things I’ve noticed about you is when you hear something or something comes by you that you know that’s going to work and you’d like to even test, it’s happening almost immediately.

Tyrone: For me, I’m not the type of person who doesn’t like to put things off for too long. When I said too long is it happens on a day and I forget about it. It’s not multi-tasking as well but seeing that’s something is going to be important and something is going to be important in the business, I’m going to implement it straightaway. I’m emphasizing “get to implement it”, not me but someone else to implement it for me. What I did was recently I was reading up I think John Chow’s new e-book that was distributed around and I saw this e-book which has 3 new components that I was recommended to implement which would help increase my subscribers and possibly double it. The first one was to implement that pop-up box that would pop up in front of my blog which would encourage people to subscribe to my newsletter. There was a saying that as soon as you put that in, you’ll probably get at least double the subscription rate so I thought all right, let’s give that a shot. I thought okay I’ll send that straight over to my programmer so I created a new ticket inside my system.

West: Let’s just preface this by saying Tyrone and I both are huge fans of pop ups. We actually think it’s a little bit rude but what we also do is we implement and we test the measure and we decide based on the results. So tell us what happened Tyrone.

Tyrone: What happened was I was getting pretty sign ins anyway because I have my subscription box just above my post so people look at them and they subscribe and so forth but I thought I’ll give this a shot and see how it goes for a week. To my amazement, it was true, it did double my subscription and opt ins to my subscriber base and a lot of people have been also commenting as well on the feedback and content that I’ve been providing for them. I did give value to them straightaway and also that they did come on to my database. But the key thing that I wanted to emphasize was I didn’t implement it myself. I implemented that by getting my programmer to do it. All I said to him was just in the ticket, “Please just go over here to do this. Copy this code in and implement it straightaway.” Because I didn’t want to go in and look at all that code and see where to paste that little snippet of Javascript.

West: Absolutely and if you’re even less technical when you do what I do and I don’t know whether he’s cheating or not, I say go to this URL and copy what they’ve done. Don’t copy it exactly and put your own spin on it but I want this to happen on my blog. You don’t even have to know how it works and you don’t have to know anything about coding.

Tyrone: I’ll be honest to you, I have copied a lot of people’s type and styles of blogs. When you see my blog, you’ll notice that it’s quite similar to another program that I have been mentored and coached by. He says it’s no problem because he thinks it’s great that his system works really, really well.

West: I like to use the word modeling. Let’s just edit that copy Tyrone. We model great people with people who actually have succeeded in the past and why would you don’t want to reinvent them.

Tyrone: Exactly, what I do is I just get onto Jing. If I like something that looks good and it works, and I found that it works well for my system, I just hop onto Jing and I’ll just point it out to them and say please just model off this type of style or this font, etc. and when you get it implemented. Once it’s done, just send it to me, make sure it’s right and when it’s done, it’s done. I don’t have to physically go in there and change the code and other stuffs on programming.

West: You want to do Tyrone but you’re holding yourself back from.

Tyrone: I don’t. I don’t see myself doing that ever again so once I’ve had my programmer, I’ll never ever jump back to coding myself. I love talking to people and I love communicating and doing videos and just building relationships with people so I focus on them. That’s where I succeed best.

I can guarantee you if you just take that little small action and take those baby steps, you ‘ll achieve a lot more than not doing anything at all. I’ve just taught a lot of people in my course and members that you just need to take action with what I teach you. If you follow the systems, I guarantee you that you’ll get there and just do it. That’s all I can say, like Nike, just do it.

Hi, it’s Tyrone from Tyroneshum.com. In today’s video, I want to share with you how you could actually outsource your video creation and also video making. And as you probably know, Gideon Shalwick is going to be releasing his new Rapid Video Blogging course in the next few hours or very, very soon so I wanted to give you some information on how I’ve been able to outsource all the things that he teaches inside that course. And also, just to give you an idea how you can implement these things yourself as well.

It’s not that hard to do because if I can do it and provide you with the blueprint for it, then you could just take these action steps away and just implement it straightaway. So the first thing I want to do is just hop in and show you exactly how I go about doing and give you a quick overview of what needs to be done and setup so that you can outsource it easily, fast and quick.

Okay so in front of me right now, you’ll see me logged into a software called LogMeIn and you can access this software and use it for free for any computer. It allows you to do remote access from anywhere in the world so all you have to do is to make sure that you’ve got your computer on, and have this little piece of software installed in your computer and you can access your computer from anywhere in the world. And, the reason why I do this is so that I allow my virtual assistant or my video guy to be able to log in and access any of the videos I have, and export it out and set it up for me the way I needed to be and most of that stuff is the back-end or administration side of things which I don’t need to be involved in. That’s why I’ve outsourced it.

So it’s pretty easy to do, get a free account at LogMeIn.com and once you get in there, I just want to show you right now how my whole setup is working. So basically what I’ve done is I’ve got two computers: one computer that I use and one computer that I’ve setup for my virtual assistant. My virtual assistant simply just uses this computer and logs in anytime when she needs to do the work. And, once I’ve given her access to it, she’ll just simply log in through LogMeIn.com. You’ll probably see right there, there’s my little computer and also her computer as well on there and that’s my little workstation we’ve got in here. Then, once they’ve logged in, this is how easy it is. All they have to do is log into the control panel of whatever computers you’ve called in and just simply click on the button there.

So what I’ve done is now I’ve logged into the other computer that I’ve got in front of me and you’ll see that with this computer, it’s got pretty much all the things that she needs to do to be able to do anything with regards to setting up, exporting and uploading all the videos online for me. This is a very, very quick way to do it because once it’s outsourced, all I have to do is make sure that the videos are on the computer so she can upload it, export it, convert it, do whatever she needs to do to get into the Internet for me and onto YouTube straightaway. And that’s a hands-off approach for me and that allows me to be able to create more video content like I’m doing right now for you. So it’s pretty easy to do. I’ve just logged into the system and she’s just completed finishing an exportation for me for the particular file that I’ve got. So I’ll just minimize this for you.

But the most important things that I have on this computer are three pieces of software that she needs. First one is Screenflow if you’re using a Mac, another one is called VisualHub and the third one is called BucketExplorer which allows me to upload all the files onto Amazon S3. Also there’s another piece of software that I use as well to convert any format from HD into Mp4 which is called Exile Soft HD Video Converter. And those are the four main tools that I need and use on the computer to be able to do all that. Furthermore, she’s got training tutorials which I’ve created for her and I’ve gone through step by step telling her exactly where to click, do this, do that. And once you’ve got all these things in place, it just becomes a streamline system which she just does everything for me and that’s how easy it is.

I let her access my computer that she’s got there, upload the files for me and once she’s uploaded the files for me, she basically has them all distributed out to the sites I needed them to be and post them on my blog. That’s how simple it is.

All right, so that’s all I wanted to share with you. That’s how you can outsource it so easily and if you want to know more details, I can provide a blueprint in it for you.
