I am writing on behalf of the Creative Writing Programme Director, School of English, Drama and Film, University College Dublin  to invite students to submit their work to our once-off flash fiction contest sponsored by the Dublin Review of Books. Final decisions will be made by authors James Ryan, Éilís Ní Dhuibhne and an editor from the drb.     With a fee of only 10 euro, the ease of electronic submissions will aid students submitting their flash fiction pieces by 1 June. In addition to a 1,000 euro grand prize, publication of the top three entries in the prestigious Dublin Review of Books will undoubtedly add to the budding portfolios of the winning writers. Not only will this prize help to advance the recognition of programmes of winning students, it will also bring international recognition to young writing.     An entry form, with the contest rules and guidelines can be found at http://www.drb.ie/competition.aspx Please contact me at James.Stafford.1@ucdconnect.ie if you have any concerns not covered by the guidelines
