I always found coding books intimidating and wordy. But HTML & CSS takes a more visual approach instead of the typical manual approach. This would have been extremely helpful in my beginnings of learning to code, and at $16.89 on Amazon - that's a steal!

For his BFA thesis project Colin Pinegar charted his friends on Facebook based on how close he was to each of them, assigning the darkest purple to his closest friends and lightening from there to pink. He then created a wax portait of himself to create a 3D chart with 451 figurines.
