preparing for 2012

the construkt has been busy behind the scenes taking a step back from events and focusing on the business end of things. we appreciate all the feedback this year as well as the support and follow ups on our progress. we can give the excuse that times are hard and our passion for what we do doesn’t pay the bills, but instead, we’d like to thank all of you for your patience and hope to find a good balance in the coming year between our lives and the construkt.

a little teaser on something we’ve been working on our spare time with a new friend above. most of our professional portfolio is under wraps due to privacy but a few updates should be following in the next few days.

time has been flying right by and we have been hitting events and fundraisers nearly every week since 4th of july! big shout outs to the k fest stlyin’ out 2v2 battle over the recent weekend. the energy and turnout was amazing and we hope enough people got one of our limited posters we made only for that day. pictures and videos to be posted to our blog in the upcoming days.

original syn creator marcus salinas has joined the team full time and new videos and pieces are already queued and on the way.

urban.construkt’s near non-existant page on facebook has just been reconstructed with new additions everyday. a new shop on etsy is available to purchase items and most everything we have made free shipping! visit the page here and don’t forget to like!

new quarterly update

it has been a crazy couple of weeks at the construkt and i’m proud to introduce our newest member danny ponce. limited edition posters and t shirts will be made available as we travel around the city handing out free art on the streets the following weeks into summer. thanks for all the old support and welcome to everyone new, this has manifested into something larger than we imagined and it is time to open the doors. more of ponce’s work will be updated in the portfolio section as well as new material around the site in the upcoming weeks, stay tuned!
