Also, Series Two Records(USA) and Eggnog Records(New Zealand) have released their second edition of the EP club. One of the cd is mine and it features songs from the Blue EP and some from the After The Blue EP. This was suppose to be released a while ago, but better now than never! It’s very cool if you want a very limited 3” cd from Under Electric Light. Looks really nice with the sleeve and all.

For those that contributed an EP to this Club you are due to receive 5 free copies of your release and for those that contributed one song for the compilation you are due to receive 1 free copy of the release that contains your song.

So that we can send to you your copy(s) please write me your postal address and will try to get it off to you sometime soonish.

These days, I am a little bit obsessed with Scott Walker’s music. I knew about him, I was listening occasionally to his music. But recently I have been listening to his songs almost everyday.
Here’s one of the songs I really like. This is a fan video not the original.

My new favorite band is a band from LA called Best Coast. I just love their Beach Boys/JAMC sound. Beautiful melodies. Perfect for this summer. The only problem is that I only have two songs from them, which I share with you today.

New Depreciation Guild song. It’s called Dream About Me. The new single will be out on July 7th on Kanine Records. I hear old shoegaze band Chapterhouse when I listen to this track. Nice.

I really like the new Sally Shapiro track. The chorus is amazing. So pop and so sad at the same time.

Here’s a another song that is in heavy rotation in my Ipod. This one is from Crocodiles and it’s called I Wanna Kill. Perfect pop song for the summer. Very Jesus & Mary Chain, Automatic era.

I really like this song from the new Au Revoir Simone album. Very nice melodies. The feel of the track and the keyboard sounds makes me thinks of old New Order stuff, which I really like.
