Eighteen Flights Delayed, Theories Abound

BEIJING, July 14, 2010 An unidentified flying object (UFO) forced Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China to cease operations on July 7. A flight crew preparing for descent first detected the object around 8:40 p.m. and notified the air traffic control department. Aviation authorities responded within minutes, grounding outbound flights and diverting inbound ones to airports in Ningbo and Wuxi.

 Eighteen flights were affected. Though normal operations resumed an hour later, the incident captured the attention of the Chinese media and sparked a firestorm of speculation on the UFO’s identity.

 ”It is a hidden U.S. bomber flying toward China,” one Internet user wrote on Monday. Another wrote on Sunday night, “In my opinion, the UFO is neither a U.S. missile nor a Russian satellite. Suggestions that it is extraterrestrial are even more preposterous. Everyone, use your head. This is clearly a man-made phenomenon. Would the U.S. or Russia risk provoking China’s anger by firing a missile or satellite rocket in Chinese skies, without warning? I believe the Chinese military is responsible for the UFO. It is a new missile or aircraft being tested out.”

 Fueling speculations further, Hangzhou residents released photos, taken in the afternoon before the delays, of a hovering object bathed in golden light and exhibiting a comet-like tail. Less than an hour before the Xiaoshan airport shut down, residents said they also saw a flying object emitting red and white rays of light.

 Resident Ma Shijun was taking a nighttime stroll with his wife when he saw the object.

 ”I felt a beam of light over my head. Looking up, I saw a streak of bright, white light flying across the sky, so I picked up the camera and took the photo. The time was 8:26 p.m. However, whether the object was a plane, or whether it was Xiaoshan Airport’s UFO, I don’t have a clear answer,” Ma told the Xinhua news agency.

 The photos taken by Hangzhou residents may be unrelated to the UFO that shut down Xiaoshan Airport. According to Hangzhou meteorological authorities, residents in the afternoon probably saw light reflecting off of an airplane. As for Ma’s nighttime photo, Beijing Planetarium curator Zhu Jing told Xinhua that the object looks just like a plane shining its strobe lamps.

 Investigating the Phenomenon

For now, the UFO’s identity remains shrouded in mystery. A spokesman from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) confirmed to ABC News that the matter is under investigation. He declined to disclose further details. A day after the sighting, however, an anonymous source told China Daily that authorities already discovered the identity of the UFO after an investigation but could not publically disclose the information because “there was a military connection.” An official explanation is expected to be released on Friday, the source said. Today, five researchers from the Beijing UFO Research Society and the Shanghai UFO Investigative Research Center traveled to Hangzhou to study the phenomenon.

 ”We have several places to visit on our agenda, including the Xiaoshan Airport and the CAAC East China Regional Administration,” the director of the Shanghai UFO Investigative Research Center, Lou Jinhong, told ABC News. “I cannot offer an opinion on this case, because we have not yet collected all the relevant documents and data. It’s not clear how long the investigation will take.”

 The Hangzhou incident comes after a string of recent UFO sightings in China. On June 30, residents in Xinjiang province saw a flying object bathed in a fan of white light. Sightings have also been reported in Hunan, Shandong and Jiangsu provinces.

Ominous reports are leaking past the BP Gulf salvage operation news blackout that the disaster unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico may be about to reach biblical proportions.

251 million years ago a mammoth undersea methane bubble caused massive explosions, poisoned the atmosphere and destroyed more than 96 percent of all life on Earth. [1] Experts agree that what is known as the Permian extinction event was the greatest mass extinction event in the history of the world. [2]

55 million years later another methane bubble ruptured causing more mass extinctions during the Late Paleocene Thermal Maximum (LPTM).

The LPTM lasted 100,000 years. [3]

Those subterranean seas of methane virtually reshaped the planet when they explosively blew from deep beneath the waters of what is today called the Gulf of Mexico.

-Now, worried scientists are increasingly concerned the same series of catastrophic events that led to worldwide death back then may be happening again-and no known technology can stop it.

The bottom line: BP’s Deepwater Horizon drilling operation may have triggered an irreversible, cascading geological Apocalypse that will culminate with the first mass extinction of life on Earth in many millions of years.

The oil giant drilled down miles into a geologically unstable region and may have set the stage for the eventual premature release of a methane mega-bubble.

Ryskin’s methane extinction theory

Northwestern University’s Gregory Ryskin, a bio-chemical engineer, has a theory: The oceans periodically produce massive eruptions of explosive methane gas. He has documented the scientific evidence that such an event was directly responsible for the mass extinctions that occurred 55 million years ago. [4]

Many geologists concur: “The consequences of a methane-driven oceanic eruption for marine and terrestrial life are likely to be catastrophic. Figuratively speaking, the erupting region “boils over,” ejecting a large amount of methane and other gases (e.g., CO2, H2S) into the atmosphere, and flooding large areas of land. Whereas pure methane is lighter than air, methane loaded with water droplets is much heavier, and thus spreads over the land, mixing with air in the process (and losing water as rain). The air-methane mixture is explosive at methane concentrations between 5% and 15%; as such mixtures form in different locations near the ground and are ignited by lightning, explosions and conflagrations destroy most of the terrestrial life, and also produce great amounts of smoke and of carbon dioxide…” [5]

The warning signs of an impending planetary catastrophe—of such great magnitude that the human mind has difficulty grasping it-would be the appearance of large fissures or rifts splitting open the ocean floor, a rise in the elevation of the seabed, and the massive venting of methane and other gases into the surrounding water.

Such occurrences can lead to the rupture of the methane bubble containment—it can then permit the methane to breach the subterranean depths and undergo an explosive decompression as it catapults into the Gulf waters.  [6]

All three warning signs are documented to be occurring in the Gulf.

Ground zero: The Gulf Coast

The people and property located on the greater expanse of the Gulf Coast are sitting at Ground Zero. They will be the first exposed to poisonous, cancer causing chemical gases. They will be the ones that initially experience the full fury of a methane bubble exploding from the ruptured seabed.

The media has been kept away from the emergency salvage measures being taken to forestall the biggest catastrophe in human history. The federal government has warned them away from the epicenter of operations with the threat of a $40,000 fine for each infraction and the possibility of felony arrests.

Why is the press being kept away? Word is that the disaster is escalating.

Cracks and bulges

Methane is now streaming through the porous, rocky seabed at an accelerated rate and gushing from the borehole of the first relief well. The EPA is on record that Rig #1 is releasing methane, benzene, hydrogen sulfide and other toxic gases. Workers there now wear advanced protection including state-of-the-art, military-issued gas masks.

Reports, filtering through from oceanologists and salvage workers in the region, state that the upper level strata of the ocean floor is succumbing to greater and greater pressure. That pressure is causing a huge expanse of the seabed-estimated by some as spreading over thousands of square miles surrounding the BP wellhead-to bulge. Some claim the seabed in the region has risen an astounding 30 feet.

The fractured BP wellhead, site of the former Deepwater Horizon, has become the epicenter of frenetic attempts to quell the monstrous flow of methane.

The subterranean methane is pressurized at 100,000 pounds psi. According to Matt Simmons, an oil industry expert, the methane pressure at the wellhead has now skyrocketed to a terrifying 40,000 pounds psi.

Another well-respected expert, Dr. John Kessler of Texas A&M University has calculated that the ruptured well is spewing 60 percent oil and 40 percent methane. The normal methane amount that escapes from a compromised well is about 5 percent.

More evidence? A huge gash on the ocean floor—like a ragged wound hundreds of feet long—has been reported by the NOAA research ship, Thomas Jefferson. Before the curtain of the government enforced news blackout again descended abruptly, scientists aboard the ship voiced their concerns that the widening rift may go down miles into the earth.

That gash too is hemorrhaging oil and methane. It’s 10 miles away from the BP epicenter. Other, new fissures, have been spotted as far as 30 miles distant.

Measurements of the multiple oil plumes now appearing miles from the wellhead indicate that as much as a total  of 124,000 barrels of oil are erupting into the Gulf waters daily-that’s about 5,208,000 gallons of oil per day.

Most disturbing of all: Methane levels in the water are now calculated as being almost one million times higher than normal. [7]

Mass death on the water

If the methane bubble—a bubble that could be as big as 20 miles wide—erupts with titanic force from the seabed into the Gulf, every ship, drilling rig and structure within the region of the bubble will immediately sink. All the workers, engineers, Coast Guard personnel and marine biologists participating in the salvage operation will die instantly.

Next, the ocean bottom will collapse, instantaneously displacing up to a trillion cubic feet of water or more and creating a towering supersonic tsunami annihilating everything along the coast and well inland. Like a thermonuclear blast, a high pressure atmospheric wave could precede the tidal wave flattening everything in its path before the water arrives.

When the roaring tsunami does arrive it will scrub away all that is left.

A chemical cocktail of poisons

Some environmentalist experts are calling what’s pouring into the land, sea and air from the seabed breach ’a chemical cocktail of poisons.’

Areas of dead zones devoid of oxygen are driving species of fish into foreign waters, killing plankton and other tiny sea life that are the foundation for the entire food chain, and polluting the air with cancer-causing chemicals and poisonous rainfalls.

A report from one observer in South Carolina documents oily residue left behind after a recent thunderstorm. And before the news blackout fully descended the EPA released data that benzene levels in New Orleans had rocketed to 3,000 parts per billion.

Benzene is extremely toxic and even short term exposure can cause agonizing death from cancerous lesions years later.

The people of Louisiana have been exposed for more than two months—and the benzene levels may be much higher now. The EPA measurement was taken in early May. [8]

Doomsday

While some say it can’t happen because the bulk of the methane is frozen into crystalline form, others point out that the underground methane sea is gradually melting from the nearby surging oil that’s estimated to be as hot as 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Most experts in the know, however, agree that if the world-changing event does occur it will happen suddenly and within the next 6 months.

So, if events go against  Mankind and the bubble bursts in the coming months, Gregory Ryskin may become one of the most famous people in the world. Of course, he won’t have long to enjoy his new found fame because very shortly after the methane eruption civilization will collapse.

Perhaps if humanity is very, very lucky, some may find a way to avoid the mass extinction that follows and carry on the human race.

‘I would not hesitate to make my birth certificate available’

Late-night radio host George Noory

Applicants for the Oval Office in 2012 already have begun lining up, just one year into President Obama’s term, amid CBS poll results that overwhelming flunk the first-term Democrat and show a majority of Americans opposed to Obama’s No. 1 agenda item – nationalized health care.

Among the possible candidates is Coast to Coast AM radio talk-show host George Noory, who told WND right away that there would be no questions about his eligibility as there are about Obama’s qualifications under the Constitution’s requirement that a president be a “natural born citizen.”

“I was born in Detroit, Mich., in 1950, and I would not hesitate to make my birth certificate available to every member of the media,” he said.

Obama has faced a long list of legal and other challenges alleging he either was not born in Hawaii as he has stated, or that he was not qualified because of his father’s foreign citizenship at his birth.

Several of the challenges still are pending in various appellate level courts, and there has begun a move among the states to require candidates for the office of president to provide documentation of eligibility before being allowed on state ballots.

 Noory previously told WND he would respond if drafted as a candidate for presidential and later repeated the promise.

“I have never run for political office,” he said, “but every night I am reaching out to millions of Americans on the radio and I am deeply concerned that the middle class of the United States is being sold out to multi-national corporations with a globalist agenda.

“I have historically remained non-partisan, but as long as the United States remains a two-party system, it’s increasingly hard to tell the difference between Republicans and Democrats. People are looking for someone in government to tell them the truth – we need that now more than ever,” he said.

One of his concerns is energy independence.

“We need to free ourselves right now, not 10 years from now, from our dependence on foreign oil,” Noory said. “We are being strangled by the oil cartels.”

Further, the income tax is hurting the nation, he said.

“The income tax needs to be abolished or greatly restructured,” Noory said, “because Americans deserve to get 100 percent use of the money they work hard to earn.

“I would do away with the federal withholding taxes on income and go to a sales tax as an alternative,” he said. “Americans who work hard for their money have a right to keep what they earn.”

Noory, who Noory served nine years in the U.S. Naval Reserve, also worries about the influence of a globalist agenda on the U.S. He has devoted shows to casting a spotlight on efforts to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

“We need a government that does not give in to a globalist agenda,” Noory said, “an agenda I am now convinced seeks to bring America as a sovereign nation and the middle class to their knees.”

The economy further causes him concern, he said.

“Why are we outsourcing millions high-paying jobs to China and India?” he asked. “Why don’t we secure the border and stop the country being flooded with millions of illegal immigrants? These are important questions on the mind of middle class voters all over America who are worried the politicians aren’t listening.”

“Jobs, jobs, jobs – that needs to be our national focus right now.”

On health care, he said true reform can only come about when a bipartisan plan is developed.

Will he actually join the race?

“That’s a huge question,” Noory answered. “Right now, I’ll continue to focus on ‘Coast to Coast AM.’ But, who knows? I’m certainly not convinced that professional politicians in either the Democratic or Republican parties have what the majority of American voters want in a president.”

His “Coast to Coast AM” contract with Premiere Radio recently was extended another year, to run until 2013. But he has told his audience he considers 2012 a threshold year in which worldwide politics will transform into a new era of freedom.

“The current crop of political candidates looks out of touch, saying nothing new or genuine. By 2012 people are going to be saying, ‘We cannot continue down the path we have been going as it will lead us only back to the familiar dead end we now see in Congress and the White House,’” he said.

In Britain, the truth really is out there as the government declassified more than 6,000 pages of reports on people’s experiences with unidentified flying objects.

One of those documents includes a police officer reporting that he spotted a UFO hovering over Chelsea Football Club’s stadium in the British capital.

The unnamed officer said he saw bright yellow lights over Stamford Bridge in March 1999. He said the lights moved with sound over the football pitch, and changed from a square to a diamond-shape before disappearing.

The reports cover the years 1994 through 2000 and were released under a three-year project between the Ministry of Defense and The National Archives.

The documents include some people’s drawings of what they saw, and in at least one case, video.

A UFO sighted by police in northeast England was filmed, and the coast guard was informed.

The coast guard also reported the UFO and an unidentified object was recorded on radar.

Roswell, NM, February 08, 2010 –(PR.COM)– His new book is the closest thing to jumping in a time machine and witnessing first-hand the alleged 1947 crash of an unidentified flying object near Roswell, New Mexico, says author Noe Torres, a UFO researcher and member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Torres’s book, “Ultimate Guide to the Roswell UFO Crash,” uses maps, photographs, and eyewitness accounts to direct Roswell enthusiasts on an exhaustive, self-guided tour of more than 35 places that have been linked to the world’s foremost UFO case.

With this book in hand, travelers can locate and visit some of Roswell’s most mysterious and infamous places, including the military aircraft hangar south of town where, allegedly, the flying saucer and the bodies of its unearthly occupants were taken by the U.S. Army following the crash. Witnesses described the creatures as three to four feet tall with unusually large heads, slanted eyes, thin arms, and only small “slits” or “holes” where their mouths, nose, and ears should be. According to Torres, one of the beings was allegedly alive when brought to the Roswell Army base and may have led guards on a frantic chase across the compound before being shot.

Torres’s book also blazes a path to the site of the old Roswell Army Air Field hospital, where a witness reported seeing military doctors conducting a bizarre autopsy on the strange beings. Allegedly, the autopsy attempt was abandoned when a foul stench from the creatures’ bodily fluids caused everyone within smelling distance to become intensely ill.

A short distance away from where the hospital stood, Roswell visitors can sit in the very room where one of the nurses present during the alien autopsy allegedly drew sketches of the creatures for Roswell mortician Glenn Dennis. “She described the beings as about three and a half feet tall with a disproportionately large head, deeply-set eyes, concave nose with two holes, a narrow slit for a mouth, and ears consisting of a small hole with a flap of skin. The creatures had no hair at all, and their skin was black, possibly from exposure to the sun after the crash. Instead of teeth, they had heavy cartilage, and their skulls that were ‘flexible’ rather than rigid. The nurse’s attention was especially drawn to the hands of the creatures, which had only four fingers with each finger having a pad resembling a suction cup at the end,” Torres writes.

Although most of the locations featured in Torres’s new book are located in and around Roswell, a few of them are farther away, such as the former Foster Ranch in nearby Lincoln County, about 100 miles from Roswell. It was there that rancher Mack Brazel reported finding strange debris and bodies that he believed to be extraterrestrial in origin. He reported his discovery to a number of civilians before the U.S. Army allegedly pressured him to keep quiet about what he had seen.

Among other UFO landmarks unveiled in the book are the still-existing homes of a number of key Roswell eyewitnesses, including Roswell Army Air Field intelligence officer Jesse Marcel. Marcel’s son, Jesse Jr., assisted Torres with the book and also wrote the book’s foreword. “Here you will read about my former home, which still stands in Roswell and where we examined the strange wreckage. You will also read about many other places, including the mysterious RAAF aircraft hanger, where UFO wreckage and bodies were temporarily stored. Through a clearer understanding of the Roswell event, we discover greater truth about the universe and our place in it. We are not alone,” Marcel, Jr. writes in the foreword.

Resulting from three years of intensive research into the Roswell Incident, “Ultimate Guide” contains over 120 photographs, including historical shots of what these UFO landmarks looked like in the 1940s and recent photos showing what the locations look like today. Torres designed the book to be used either as a field guide to take along on an actual Roswell visit or as a means of taking a “virtual tour” in the reader’s mind. The book is organized in a manner that facilitates a driving tour, starting with sites that are closest to the center of Roswell and then moving south toward the former Roswell Army Air Field, before finally taking readers out to a few out-of-town locations.

Roswell historian John LeMay, author of the acclaimed Images of America: Roswell, a photographic essay of Roswell’s past, also collaborated with Torres on the project. LeMay said, “Here, for the first time, is the story of every historic building and eerie site that plays an important role in the story of the Roswell Incident. Armed with this information, you the reader are able to walk where the witnesses walked, retrace their steps, and experience for yourself exactly what they experienced.”

In the Afterword, LeMay points out that although many books have been written over the years about the Roswell Incident, Torres’s is the first to carefully and systematically analyze the key sites linked to the case. “Prior to the publication of this book, few visitors to Roswell had access to the information required in order for them to actually see the sites where the Roswell Incident took place. Thanks to ‘Ultimate Guide,’ exploring these places will no longer be a problem. The book has even been helpful to me, a lifelong Roswell resident, who should have probably already known where all this stuff supposedly happened.”

“Ultimate Guide” author Noe Torres has been a regular guest speaker at the Roswell UFO Museum, having appeared at its annual festival in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Torres and colleague Ruben Uriarte presented a number of lectures on their UFO research and on their two UFO books, “Mexico’s Roswell” and “The Other Roswell.” During these visits to the museum, Torres met other Roswell UFO researchers who later were instrumental in the writing of his newest book. He also met and formed a friendship with museum employee E. J. Wilson, who took all of the photographs of contemporary Roswell that appear in the book. Historical photos were acquired under license from the Historical Society for Southeast New Mexico.

Bringing Roswell’s UFO landmarks out into the light of day turned out to be an arduous task for Torres. “It’s definitely not the kind of information that’s just out there, floating in the ether. It was extremely difficult to pinpoint where everything happened, exactly what happened, and precisely how to visit all those places today. I basically had to read, cover to cover, about 20 different books, talk to a number of colleagues in the field, talk to a local geologist knowledgeable about the Foster Ranch debris field, spend time at the Roswell UFO museum and in several libraries, and look at photos and documents from the 1940s provided to me by other researchers and by the good folks at the Historical Society for Southeast New Mexico. The end result is the kind of book that I myself was hoping to find three years ago when I first visited Roswell – a guide to retracing the mystery of 1947 by visiting the very places where everything happened.”
