Florida resident Autumn Bardisa has been arrested and accused of pretending to be a nurse, as well as treating over 4,000 patients with a stolen nursing license.

According to a message posted on Facebook by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, police arrested Bardisa following “an investigation conducted in coordination with AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway and multiple state and federal partners.”

The “seven-month investigation” into the Florida woman started in January 2025 after hospital administrators alleged they fired her “for impersonating a registered nurse” by using another person’s license number and entering fake documentation “to be employed as an advanced nurse technician at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway in Palm Coast,” the sheriff’s office reported.

AdventHealth said she was hired on July 3, 2023, as “an advanced nurse tech, working under the supervision of a registered nurse.”

When she applied for the position, Bardisa suggested that she was an “education first” registered nurse, which meant that she had passed the necessary schooling to become a registered nurse but had not yet passed the national exam to acquire her license.

“During the hiring process, Bardisa then informed the hospital that she had passed the exam and provided a license number matching an individual with her first name, Autumn, but with a different last name,” the sheriff’s office continued. “Bardisa attempted to explain the discrepancy, stating that she had recently gotten married and had a new last name. Bardisa was then asked to provide her marriage license to AdventHealth, which she never did.”

In January 2025, the woman was given a promotion, which provoked “interest among her colleagues.” At the time, a fellow employee examined the status of her license and discovered that she possessed “an expired certified nursing assistant license,” and the employee mentioned this to administrators.

After they opened their own investigation, AdventHealth found out that Bardisa never gave her marriage license as requested to verify her identity.

“On January 22, 2025, Bardisa was terminated after she failed to confirm her identity,” the sheriff’s office confirmed in the Facebook post. “After terminating Bardisa, AdventHealth contacted the FCSO to conduct a criminal investigation. During the seven-month investigation, detectives and investigators with the Florida Department of Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reviewed documents and conducted interviews with AdventHealth employees and the nurse whose identity Bardisa stole.”

The investigation confirmed that Bardisa shared a first name with another nurse who AdventHealth had employed, but at a different hospital, and had attended school with her.

Despite this, she and the other nurse did not know each other personally.

“During the criminal investigation, detectives determined that Bardisa had participated in medical services to 4,486 individuals from June 2024 through January 2025, despite never holding a valid nursing license,” the sheriff’s office went on to say. “On August 5, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Bardisa for seven counts of practicing a health care profession without a license and seven counts of fraudulent use of personal identification information.

“The FCSO Fugitive Unit located Bardisa at her residence and arrested her on her active warrants,” the office reported. “She was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where she is being held on a $70,000 bond.”

Sheriff Rick Staly said that the arrest “is one of the most disturbing cases of medical fraud we’ve ever investigated.”

Staly also said that Bardisa “potentially put thousands of lives at risk by pretending to be someone she was not and violating the trust of patients, their families, AdventHealth and an entire medical community.”

“Thanks to great investigative work between our detectives and State Attorney, Florida’s Seventh Circuit R.J. Larizza’s Office and AdventHealth, along with our state and federal partners, she’ll now be held accountable for her reckless and dangerous actions,” he declared.

Max Ehrich, the former The Young and the Restless actor and Demi Lovato’s ex-fiancé, was placed on psychiatric hold after his fans grew alarmed by his online behavior and reported him to the police. He was taken in an ambulance to a facility in southern Florida for treatment.

This comes after he was arrested last month for domestic violence on one charge of battery of a person 65 years or older, who is his mother. Max was on a livestream, allegedly using nitrous oxide, before attacking his mother.

Ehrich told the cops that her son “heavily abuses inhalants,” and “chased her outside into her neighbor’s backyard, pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the thigh.”

In the livestream, which one viewer recorded, Max demands his mother’s phone while his mother cries in the bathroom, leading to him shoving her. Max was held on a $1,000 cash bond and released.

Max’s mom, Rhonda Ehrich, took to Instagram to deliver a lengthy statement in her son’s defense.

Alongside a screenshot of an old post of Max’s that featured Rhonda and the caption “I LOVE MY ANGEL MOTHER SO MUCH I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR HER PURE HEART,” she told followers that the attack was “completely fabricated.”

She began, “A short video clip of an altercation that is being exaggerated for clickbait does not discern the truth of what did and didn’t happen.”

“The only villain in this is the fact that my son was kidnapped and forced to ingest a dangerous substance. My son is my best friend and one of the best people I know. My son lives a clean, healthy and sober lifestyle. All my son has ever wanted is a platform to share love and goodness with the world. These public exaggerations are harmful to my family. Falsely stating such is also defamation.”

“I am pursuing all legal avenues to clear my son’s name and to move beyond this instance where forced substance abuse created these conflicts. In a short amount of time, I watched substance abuse take over his entire daily life because he was kidnapped and forced to do drugs with a group of bad characters, and I struggled as any mother would with the demand to keep him safe as a grown man and protect him. He now is in rehab, and he is getting the treatment he needs.”

“Those who know the real Max Ehrich know him for the kind, respectful, loving and talented young man that I’m proud to say is my incredible, inspirational, brilliant, clean living, amazing son. Max is devastated and extremely apologetic that the world had to watch him fall from grace.”

After his release, Max reposted Rhonda’s statement, with the caption, “LOVE YOU MOM.” He also issued his own statement on Instagram: alongside a photo of himself in the car throwing the camera a peace sign, he wrote, “On my way to rehab…”

Miss Universe Mexico Fátima Bosch clashed with Miss Universe Asia and Oceania President Nawat Itsaragrisil in a now-viral clip.

In a livestream of the pre-pageant sashing event for the 74th annual Miss Universe Pageant, Itsaragrisil reprimanded the contestants for failing to maintain a social media presence. He eventually called Bosch directly, reprimanding her for five minutes.

Itsaragrisil insisted Bosch now answered to the Thai pageant officials rather than the Miss Universe Mexico delegation. The executive ordered security to remove her from the conference. This prompted reigning Miss Universe, Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, to walk out in solidarity. Several other women followed suit.

Bosch responded to the situation on TikTok afterwards, criticizing the pageant. “We are empowered women, and this platform is meant to give us a voice — no one can silence us,” said Bosch, “I came here to be a voice for all the women and all the girls who fight for causes and to tell my country that I’m completely committed to that.”

Raúl Rocha Cantú, president of the Miss Universe organization, issued a public statement decrying Itsaragrisil’s behavior. “I will not allow the values of respect and dignity of women to be violated,” said Rocha.

Rocha has also “restricted Itsaragrisil’s participation” in the pageant events “as much as possible or eliminating it entirely.”

Rocha has since been dismissed from the pageant.

Director William Means and actress Rocky Shay spoke exclusively to uInterview about their new film, Junkie, which follows a meth-addicted mom on the run from rehab. Shay, a recovering addict, brought a fresh perspective to the project. “My thought was like, what if a drug addict was a superhero?” Means told uInterview founder Erik Meers of the film, which recently had its American Film Institute premiere. “And they were shot in a widescreen aspect ratio doing crazy s— in order to try to just do something right. Retired star quarterback Tom Brady recently revealed that his current dog, Junie, is a clone of a past pet he shared with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. The original dog, Lua, died in late 2023.

Brady “revived” his former pet with the help of Colossal Biosciences. Colossal created Junie using a blood sample obtained from Lua before her death, as well as the technology they acquired from the biotechnology company Viagen.

The company had previously made headlines for successfully cloning Dolly the sheep in 1996. “In a few short months, Colossal gave my family a second chance with a clone of our beloved dog,” said Brady, an investor in Colossal.

Brady is among several public figures who have cloned their pets. Colossal has also worked with Paris Hilton and Barbara Streisand, both of whom are investors in the company, to clone their dogs.

Streisand shared Brady’s sentiment toward her deceased dog, having cloned her pet Samantha in an effort to “keep her with [Streisand] in some way.” “It was easier to let Sammie go if I knew I could keep some part of her alive, something that came from her DNA,” said Streisand in a 2018 essay for the New York Times.

Although Viagen offers its services to everyone, the cost of cloning a pet may deter many owners. Preserving a pet’s genetics with Viagen costs $1,600, and cloning a cat or dog costs $50,000.

Colossal has also made headlines recently for its “de-extinction efforts.” The company has successfully cloned over 15 species of animals, including the endangered Przewalski’s Horse, the black-footed ferret, and the dire wolf.

While pet cloning is advertised as an effort to preserve a pet’s memory, critics emphasize that the new pet will be totally different from the prior one. The pet will have little in common with its predecessor aside from its genetic makeup.

Former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan shared his comments about the fiscal crisis in the United States and how the nation can get back on track.

During a summit in Saratoga, Wyoming, Ryan was asked whether America’s $37 trillion of national debt is “imperiling America’s future.”

He acknowledged the Republican Party’s failures to budget and spend responsibly, as well as the price the U.S. might pay if Washington cannot get its fiscal house in order.

He then recalled the budget that the House of Representatives passed in 2014, when he was chair of the House Budget Committee, which claimed to balance the budget for over a decade and pay off the national debt in 30 years.

“We now have these populist parties who believe that the end justifies the means,” the former GOP House speaker stated. “Both parties use moral relativism as the main tool. … The question is, when this crisis hits, what does it look like? And what can you do about it?”

Ryan then described a scenario for how a fiscal crisis could unfold.

“I assume it’s a bond market episode, an auction failure, where basically the Treasury calls up the primary dealers and puts a gun to their head and says to [JP Morgan Chase Chairman] Jamie Dimon, ‘buy the rest of these bonds,'” he mentioned. “The market will know it, yields will spike, and we have a crisis.”

Ryan said that the U.S. would need a bipartisan congressional commission empowered to decrease the national debt.

“We had enough of a crisis to scare us into action,” the ex-house speaker recalled, referring to the failure of the 2010 National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, also known as Simpson–Bowles.

This commission was established by Former President Barack Obama in 2010 to identify policies that would improve the fiscal situation in the medium term and achieve fiscal sustainability in the long run. Ryan was an appointee for this commission.

“The last meeting of Bowles-Simpson, when we were all shaking hands, saying how nice it was to work with each other, the aides came in with the press release from Obama and the press release from [Nancy] Pelosi, then speaker, saying, ‘We’re not doing it,'” Ryan added. “It was dead before we left the room in the last meeting.”

However, he also said he believes a consensus is growing in Washington that now is the time for a strong bipartisan commission to deal with the problem of the deficits and the debt.

“That idea is starting to percolate back again,” he stated. “Trump’s against anything that’s deemed unpopular, but perhaps after the midterms, in 2027, if the last person talking to him in the room can convince him – legacy-defining; preserving the dollar; stopping a debt crisis; helping the world – maybe a commission could happen. There are Democrats and Republicans in the House and the Senate who are getting serious about this idea.”

Deputy State Coroner Derek Lee has disclosed new information about an Australian fisherman, Paul Barning, who was dragged overboard by a Mako shark in February.

Earlier this year, police in Australia stated that Barning, who fell overboard during a fishing competition on February 23, was dragged by a shark that got entangled in his fishing gear.

According to the authorities, the search for the fisherman began one day later, after they were alerted around 1:00 p.m. on February 24 that he had fallen from his boat, the Dark Horse, nearly 34 miles off the coast of Newcastle near Port Stephens.

Marine Area Command Commander Superintendent Joe McNulty told various local news outlets that investigators think the shark was “quite large” compared to Barning’s 6.8-meter-long vessel.

“During that process of bringing the shark alongside, he’s become tangled in the fishing line, and the shark has taken off, and that fishing line was pulled taut and maybe contributed to him going over the side of the vessel,” McNulty mentioned during a news conference. “There’s no evidence to say that shark has attacked the person in the water.”

The superintendent also stated that the fisherman was not wearing a life jacket.

At the time of the incident, Barning was participating in the New South Wales Game Fishing Association (NSWGFA) Interclub State Championships, the game fishing organization mentioned in a statement posted to social media.

Last month, Depute State Coroner Lee heard from crew members of the Dark Horse, who talked about the moment their friend had been pulled over the side as they tried to pull the shark aboard.

“The shark moved quickly into deeper water, pulling the line away from Paul [and a friend],” the deputy state coroner mentioned in an inquest, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. “As Paul’s hands were entwined in the trace line, he was heard to yell words to the effect of, ‘Oh no’, as he was pulled to the edge of the boat. This impact caused him to flip approximately 180 degrees over the side of the boat and be pulled into the water whilst still holding the trace line.”

The crew offered evidence that the Dark Horse was put into neutral and the shark was reeled back in, in the hope that Barning was still attached to the line, but he was gone.

While 27 nautical miles offshore, south-east of Newcastle, a crew member activated the “man overboard” function on the boat’s GPS tracking device and called the authorities.

Lee said that Barning, whose body has still not been found, died over eight months ago.

“In some circumstances, a conclusion may be reached, on the balance of probabilities, that a … person died from drowning,” he pointed out.

“Further, the crew of the Dark Horse had been using baits and burley earlier in the day to attract sharks,” the coroner added.

Search efforts involved 40 boats from the game fishing competition, as well as Marine Rescue NSW, and the NSW Police Marine Area Command and helicopters.

The inquest noted that drift modelling was conducted calculations suggested that “that due to sea conditions, the search area had expanded considerably to 1,500 square nautical miles.”

This particular area covered an estimated distance from Newcastle to Terrigal.

The inquest also heard from Paul Luckin, a specialist anesthetist and expert in search, rescue and survivability.

Luckin told the inquest that there was an “extremely small chance that he could survive for some hours.”

“Dr Luckin considered that there was no possibility of Paul surviving beyond 12:00pm on 24 February 2025, by which time he would have been in the water for some 22.5 hours,” Lee realized.

He also discovered that since Barning’s body was never found, a cause of death could not officially be confirmed, despite the fact that he may have drowned.

While describing the fisherman as an experienced individual who managed a trace line various times without incident, Lee said he could determine the death as “sudden and unexpected.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) shared that she believes in demons and claimed they might be aliens who fell from heaven.

Greene, known for her controversial views, has recently been slamming her fellow Republicans.

Greene made this claim during her guest appearance on HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher.

“Do you think demons and the devil are real?” host Bill Maher asked her.

“Absolutely,” the congresswoman replied. “I’m a Bible-believing Christian. I definitely believe. And I believe those could be fallen angels. All these things could be real.”

Earlier on the show, Maher asked another one of his on-air guests, filmmaker Dan Farah, to discuss his newest documentary, The Age of Disclosure. He also wanted Farah to discuss how it focuses on the way some senior U.S. military officials have theorized that “demons” might be responsible for unidentified flying objects, or UFOs.

“So in the film, one of the senior intelligence officials named Jay Stratton – he was the director of air and space warfare at the Defense Intelligence Agency, and then he ran the US government’s UAP task force – he tells a story about how he was trying to run this issue up the flagpole and bring attention to it, at the Pentagon, in a serious office space,” the filmmaker recounted.

“And his superiors told him that they thought these things were demons, and that he was doing the devil’s work by looking into it,” he added.

“And on camera in the film, he says, ‘I can’t believe these words were coming out of their mouths,'” he also recalled. “He’s like, ‘I’m briefing them on an advanced aerospace vehicle that’s absolutely there. It’s been spotted by trained observers like our Navy fighter pilots in their $80 million airplanes that we trust them with, right. It’s been spotted on data collection systems like satellite and radar.'”

“And this guy is telling me, ‘It’s a demon,'” Farah noted. “It’s insane. And he’s like, ‘My mind was blown, and this is something I’m dealing with inside of the government.'”

Earlier this week, Greene slammed the co-hosts of The View during an appearance on the show, claiming that they had attacked her various times in the past.

Tesla shareholders have approved CEO Elon Musk‘s pay package, which could reach $1 trillion if he hits specific performance targets during the next ten years.

In September, the Tesla board of directors chose to offer Musk this $1 trillion pay package.

The possible shares would be worth $148.7 billion, as suggested by the closing price on September 5.

However, assuming Tesla shares increase as predicted, they would be worth closer to $1 trillion as Tesla goes beyond various milestones.

Musk would only receive his $1 trillion if Tesla becomes worth $8.5 trillion, which is eight times its current value, and twice as much as the largest corporate pay package in history.

On November 6, over 75% of voters approved the plan as shareholders gathered in Austin, Texas, for their annual meeting.

“Fantastic group of shareholders,” Musk stated after the final vote was tallied. “Hang on to your Tesla stock.”

The board of directors that designed the pay package stated that he must hit several ambitious financial and operational targets, such as increasing the company’s stock market value nearly six times its current level.

Musk also needs to deliver 20 million Tesla electric vehicles to the market over the next ten years, despite new, stiff competition, which is more than double the number since the company’s founding.

Critics claimed that the board of directors was too indebted to Musk, his behavior was too reckless lately and the compensation offered was far too much.

“He has hundreds of billions of dollars already in the company, and to say that he won’t stay without a trillion is ridiculous,” Sam Abuelsamid, an analyst at research firm Telemetry who has been covering Tesla for nearly 20 years, stated. “It’s absurd that shareholders think he is worth this much.”

Supporters stated that Musk should focus on the company as he works to transform it into an AI powerhouse, utilizing software to operate hundreds of thousands of self-driving Tesla cars and Tesla robots deployed in offices, factories, and homes, performing various tasks now handled by humans.

The home of Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra was destroyed by an early morning fire on Thursday, November 6. Video released by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue shows crews responding to the scene. The footage shows firefighters using large hoses and a crane to douse the smoldering home, which partially collapsed. In a statement, the fire department said that crews arrived on the scene at approximately 4:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a fire. Conservative playwright and author David Mamet angrily exited a podcast interview after having a tense exchange about the U.S. Capitol attack.

During an appearance on the Talk Easy podcast, Mamet and host Sam Fragoso discussed the January 6, 2021, insurrection.

It ended with Mamet accusing the podcast host of antisemitism and then storming out of the room.

“Do you think there should be any accountability for the behavior on January 6?” Fragoso asked the playwright.

“Well, people went to jail,” Mamet answered. “People are still in jail on January 6th.”

“And you think that’s OK,” the host then asked.

“I don’t know if it’s OK or not, but there was accountability,” his guest replied.

“Do you think that it was an appropriate response for them to be jailed and to be prosecuted as they have been,” Fragoso wondered.

“Look, there’s an old saw that says where there’s law, there’s injustice,” the author mentioned. “I think that Donald Trump said to those people, ‘Go and protest peacefully and patriotically.’ And some of them were doing that, some of them were rioting, and some of them were just walking around. And some of all [the] three groups ended up in a joint.”

“How are you able to offer such a generous reading to what happened on January 6?” Fragoso asked.

“Wait, wait, wait, what – generous,” Mamet stated.

“You’re saying – you’re saying some people – some people were there peacefully,” the host mentioned.

“Yeah,” Mamet confirmed.

“Some people may not have been so peaceful,” Fragoso pointed out. “Some people were just walking around. Your capacity for empathy and generosity is on full display around January 6, but it seems limited to January 6.”

“Let’s stop for a second and take an overview,” the author stated. “Why do you have me here today?”

“I am here to talk about all manners of things, right?” Fragoso said.

“But it seems to me that what we’re talking about here is a little bit more toward an inquisition rather than a dialogue,” the playwright claimed.

Fragoso then tried to calm things down, telling Mamet that he was “genuinely curious how” the author appears to be “open and openhearted about what happened on January 6.”

“That is a fairly more generous reading than you gave, especially [with] the Columbia protesters and all of that,” the host noted.

“I’m talking to a guy who never got punched in the face,” Mamet asserted. “I was born – just a little bit of time – like 20 months prior to my birth – they were throwing Jewish kids into the ovens. So American Jews of the midcentury, our main tactic of accommodation was to keep our heads down and work harder and try to be liked,” he stated.

“You know what,” he then told Fragoso. “I’m not going to debate the Columbia riots with you.”

Later on during the interview, the author claimed that for Fragoso to say that, unlike the Jan. 6 rioters, the Columbia protestors “were involved in [a] peaceful protest is [a] loathsome piece of antisemitism.” He then claimed that the host does not “know what the f— [he is] talking about.”

He then proceeded to leave the room, ending the interview.

A radioactive wasp nest had been found at a nuclear waste and weapon site in South Carolina.

According to a report by the U.S. Department of Energy, the contaminated nest was discovered at the Savannah River Site on July 3, located next to tanks used to store liquid nuclear waste.

This site was once involved in manufacturing nuclear weapons and is currently used to store nuclear waste.

“RCO probed the nest and discovered it was probing 100,000 disintegrations per minute/100 square centimeters beta/gamma,” the report stated. “This contamination level is greater than 10 times the total contamination values in 10 Code of Federal Regulation 835 Appendix D.”

The report, which said that the nest was the result of “onsite legacy radioactive contamination” and “not related to a loss of contamination control,” also mentioned that the nest was “sprayed to kill wasps, then bagged as radiological waste.”

It said testing confirmed radiation levels “greater than 10 times the total contamination values,” which federal regulations permit.

“The ground and surrounding area did not have any contamination,” the department’s report mentioned.

It stated that the incident had no impact on other activities and operations, and no additional action is required in the field.

The report was delayed “due to time needed to investigate previous contaminated wasp circumstances and gather information for ORPS criteria evaluation,” it stated.

It also mentioned the delay was “to allow time for reviewing previous wildlife contamination for consistency in reporting criteria.”

“Radiological Control personnel discovered a wasp nest in F Tank Farm at the Savannah River Site while performing routine radiological monitoring activities,” according to a statement from the Savannah River Mission Completion. “Per procedure, the nest was sprayed, and the nest was surveyed for contamination. While no wasps were found on the nest, the individual insects would have significantly lower levels of contamination.

“Upon discovery of the contaminated nest, the immediate area was secured and surveyed; no contamination was found in the area,” the statement added. “There were no impacts to workers, the environment, or the public.”

“F Tank Farm is centrally located inside the 310-square-mile Savannah River Site,” it noted. “Generally, wasps travel only a few hundred yards from their nest.” 

The wasp nest was viewed as onsite legacy contamination, which refers to the residual radioactivity that remains due to historical nuclear weapons production and other connected activities carried out during the Cold War era.

Frequent monitoring is being conducted to ensure that any contamination is effectively managed.

The F-Area Tank Farm features 22 underground carbon steel tanks, measuring 80 to 100 feet in diameter and approximately 23 feet in depth. Each of the tanks has the capacity to hold 750,000 to 1,300,000 gallons of radioactive waste.

A judge has allowed the suspect arrested for the murders of the married Arkansas couple, Clinton and Cristen Brink, to wear civilian clothes in court.

Prosecutors say that Andrew McGann, a 28-year-old teacher from Springdale, Arkansas, admitted he killed the married couple who were both found stabbed to death on a walking trail in an Arkansas park in late July.

McGann was charged with two counts of capital murder in the killings of Clinton and Cristen on July 30.

Police mentioned that the couple had been “fatally attacked” while out hiking with their two daughters, ages 7 and 9, at Devil’s Den State Park on July 26.

The assault happened approximately a half mile into the park, with the husband being attacked first, police reported.

Authorities also noted that the children had not been harmed in the incident with the help of the mother.

“We believe that the mother took them to safety, and then returned to help her husband,” Maj. Stacie Rhoads with the Arkansas State Police stated during a press briefing.

After a day-long manhunt for the suspect, McGann was arrested at a barbershop in Springdale, nearly 30 miles north of the park, police stated.

During an interview with police, the teacher confessed to killing the couple, Arkansas State Police Director Col. Mike Hagar said.

DNA from blood recovered from the crime scene was a match to McGann’s DNA, Hagar noted.

He sustained cuts on his hands during a struggle with the victims, a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation reported.

The colonel also said that items found in his residence were “consistent with being involved in this particular crime.”

When asked about a motive in the double murder, Hagar stated that while it remains under investigation, he did say it seemed to be a “completely random event.”

“We have no reason to believe that there was any known association between our suspects and our victims,” he declared.

He also said on Thursday that the victims died from stab wounds, and the murder weapon was a knife.

Knives were found in the residence’s home, but it is unknown if any had been the murder weapon, Rhoads stated.

Hagar mentioned police received more than 500 tips and credited the public’s help with bringing McGann into custody.

Arkansas State Police also released a composite sketch and photo from behind of a man who had been seen in Devil’s Den State Park on the day of the double homicide.

Authorities had already stated that the suspect had been seen leaving the area of the park in a black, four-door sedan, most likely a Mazda, with a license plate obscured by tape.

Rhoads mentioned that the vehicle description had been “critical” in identifying the suspect. She also said that the suspect took steps to hide his identity, but was “very sloppy.”

Police do not believe he was trying to change his appearance in getting a haircut, according to Rhoads, saying, “Could chalk that up to school starts next week.”

The Brinks’ children are safe and in the custody of their relatives, according to police reports.

Hagar mentioned that the Brinks were a loving couple, and credited their two daughters with helping in the case, stating that they are “in awe” of them.

“The information that they were able to provide to start us down this path, to be able to make this arrest, it all started with those two little girls,” the colonel said. “It’s incredible.”

He said the couple has a third daughter who was not on the trial that day.

“It is my intention to use the full weight of my office to bring this defendant to justice for the Brinks family,” Brandon Carter, the prosecuting attorney for Washington County, mentioned during a press briefing.

Carter stated that the prosecutor’s office is not going to waive the death penalty in this case.

The Central Park Conservancy, a nonprofit organization, is supporting a New York City Council bill that would ban horses and carriages from the famous park.

Animal rights advocates have been working to ban carriage horses from operating in Central Park for years. This effort gained greater attention after a horse named Ryder collapsed on a Midtown street three years ago.

In a letter to Mayor Eric Adams and Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, the non-profit organization’s President, Elizabeth Smith, stated that recent runaway horse incidents, road damage and sanitation violations made the carriages incompatible “with the realities of a modern, heavily used, and shared public space.”

“We do not take this position lightly, but with visitation to the Park growing to record levels, we feel strongly that banning horse carriages has become a matter of public health and safety for Park visitors,” Smith added in her letter.

“It has also become increasingly evident that the 68 carriages licensed to operate in the Park inflict enormous damage to its Drives, to the detriment of the Park’s other, 42 million users.”

There are 68 carriages currently permitted by the city, and almost 200 licensed horses, according to a spokeswoman for the Transport Workers Union’s (TWU) Local 100, which represents nearly 200 drivers and stable-hands.

The group pointed out two incidents in May in which horses ran from their handlers and were loose in the park, with one injuring a pedicab driver.

The conservancy also cited “manure” left behind on park drives and moments of carriages unlawfully lining up near Columbus Circle.

It also mentioned that the heavy carriages and steel horseshoes are ruining newly repaved roads within months.

“We believe it’s time to turn the page, as most major cities already have,” Smith said.

City Council spokesperson Benjamin Fang-Estrada said, “We welcome feedback from the Central Park Conservancy and all stakeholders on this bill that continues to go through the Council’s legislative process, which is deliberative and allows for thorough public input.”

John Samuelsen, the TWU’s international president, called the conservancy’s claims absurd.

“Conservancy President Elizabeth W. Smith’s claim that slow-moving horse carriages pose a threat to public safety is absolutely ridiculous,” Samuelsen said in a statement. “The Conservancy has failed miserably to manage the swarming hordes of unlicensed and illegally motorized pedicabs, e-bikes and electric scooters that pose the real threat.”

“The corporate aristocrats at the Central Park Conservancy are now outrageously supporting a measure that would throw about 200 blue-collar workers in the carriage-horse tourism industry out of work, with no regard for how they will pay their rents, mortgages, send their kids to college, put food on the table or meet other expenses.

Now, with the election of Zohran Mamdani, who has advocated for the ban, as Mayor of New York City, the measure is expected to be enacted soon after he assumes office in January.

President Donald Trump‘s planned monument, nicknamed by critics the “Arc de Trump,” is expected to cost at least $100 million.

Sources told Axios that the Arc de Trump, a “new arch at the entrance to Washington at the terminus of the Memorial Bridge,” inspired by Paris’ Arc de Triomphe, is estimated to cost $100 million.

“It’s what he’s talking about,” an aide close to Trump said.

The aide recently spoke with the president, as he was considering models of differently sized arches.

“There’s a small arch. A middle arch. A large arch,” they said. “And he likes the large one, of course, as long as it’s big and gold and white.”

The president raised almost $1.9 billion from many corporate donors to help finance his political committees, White House construction projects and celebrations of the United States’ upcoming 250th anniversary.

More money is to come.

“The midterms are paid for,” a source in Trump’s fundraising operations said. “He’s been at this since taking office, and he’s not stopping.”

The plan, which includes a variety of small models on a map, shows the arch in a traffic circle next to the Arlington Cemetery, across the Potomac River from the Lincoln Memorial and towering over the monument’s 99-foot height.

A larger model of the arch sat on Trump’s desk, featuring a gold angel atop the structure, flanked by white eagles.

In September, the “Donald Trump for President” Facebook page posted a drawing of an arch with a similar design, placed in the same spot, connecting it to the celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary.

Oscar Lesage is a French actor and director, known for playing the role of Chartres in the BBC and PBS series Marie Antoinette (2022) and The Substance (2024). He is also known for his roles in Bardot (2023) and Dangerous Liaisons (2022). 

Oscar Lesage was born on October 23, 1996 (Oscar Lesage age: 29) in Mulhouse, France. He grew up in Haut-Rhin. His mother is Sarah Lesage, and his father is Eric Lesage. He has two siblings – sister Demelza and brother Max. 

Lesage’s debut as a leading actor in a feature film was his work in Le Choix Du Pianiste (The Pianist’s Choice), which put him on the industry’s radar. Lesage studied at the Théâtre Municipal de La Grange and the Théâtre du Nord. 

Lesage revealed to uInterview that he first considered acting as a career when he was nine and took an “improv class.” He loved it so much that he decided he wanted to do that “for the rest of [his] life.” “It was probably a silly improv exercise—something like, ‘You’re selling soap and you’re a bee’, but I remember the feeling. It felt right, fun, and life-changing. That’s when I knew,” Lesage said.

Lesage has acted in several films, including La Tagente (2016), Ailleurs (2017), Atomic Ed (2018), The Room (2019), Forever Young (2022), and Les Damnés (2016). He has played the role of Brigitte Bardot’s husband, Jacques Charrier, in the French mini-series Bardot (2023). 

In an exclusive interview with uInterview, Lesage revealed his first acting experience, his experience on the set while filming the second season of Marie Antoinette, as well as his dynamic with Demi Moore while filming The Substance.

On his character, Chartres’ role in the second season, Lesage told uInterview:

“So, at the end of season one, Chartres was banished from Versailles because he’s being accused of having fled the battle against the English. So he’s now relocated to the Belle-Royale, where he’s basically just sulking and being bitter—bitter about Marie Antoinette—because he’s still madly in love with her,” Lesage said. 

“He’s got a new mistress called Felicity, who kind of, I guess, manipulates him into seeking power. And I think the whole of season two is him trying to have the shoulders for that, but struggling with the love he still feels for Marie Antoinette. I think as much as he wants to be king and be in a position of power, his emotions will always take control of him and prevent him from succeeding in his goals.”

When asked about his approach to researching a character, Lesage explained that historical research is “not usually the most useful thing” for him.  

“Honestly, it’s more about just reading the scenes over and over again and getting to understand the character’s motivations—how he behaves, how he feels, what he’s thinking the whole time, his relationship to the other characters. That’s usually what helps me the most as an actor.”

He revealed that after doing some research, it seemed evident to him that the one thing motivating him was Marie Antoinette. He describes his character as someone “so obsessed” in love that it blinds him.

“It’s always going to be the thing that makes him trip, even though he’s so close to achieving his goals,” Lesage said, nodding. “I think he’s a bit of a coward as well—always has been. But again, you don’t want to judge the character, because as an actor, that’s a nightmare. So it’s more about understanding. I think he’s just really bitter, and that makes him behave in such a selfish and horrible manner. But I think it’s all related to his relationship with Marie Antoinette.”

When asked about a scene that was most challenging, Lesage mentioned one in episode three where Antoinette wants to buy a house and then realizes Chartres is the owner. “I try to set a marriage up between our two kids, and she’s like, ‘Are you crazy?’ That was, I guess, the longest scene—and it was the first one I shot. So I think that was kind of a challenge for me—to come back after two years and be like, okay, the first scene of the day is the one with eight pages of dialogue. So that was for sure quite a challenge. Trying to think of another one, but honestly it was so much fun. That was probably the only one where I was a bit insecure or stressed, really.”

When asked about a memorable moment behind-the-scenes of the historical locations on-set, Lesage mentioned a moment at the Belle-Royale where several extras were “hoisting” him up on a chair while screaming his name. 

“Obviously, there was some part of my ego that really enjoyed that. It was just so absurd and bizarre—because also, it’s all French extras, because the show is being shot in France. So I’m trying to be all British, and then you just hear these French people talking about the “Frenchy” and pretending to be English even though they’re French in the story. Yeah, it gets a bit confusing sometimes. That was quite a special day in such an amazing setting.”

When asked about the historical resonance of Marie’s story, Lesage said: “I feel like for foreigners—I mean non-French people, which I will then call foreigners because I’m French anyway. I think there is a sexiness to the character and a decadence that draws people to them. But for the French—I was raised with a quite Republican mindset, not in the American sense, but more in the sense that the French government became a republic. To this day, the French often talk about “the Republic, the Republic,” and how the French Revolution changed it all. So we don’t hold a very special place in our heart for royalty. I do feel we also have quite a conflicted relationship with Marie Antoinette. I’m not saying French people hate her—I’m just saying she was the last queen of France. There’s the famous “Let them eat cake” line, which isn’t even real—she never actually said that.”

“But yeah, I forgot the question. Basically, what I’m saying is that for French people—even though Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette weren’t horrible people—they were the ones who got their heads chopped off. And to this day, I think the French people have a very special relationship with power. I mean with the government—literally. I don’t think there’s been a president in the last 300 years that we’ve all rooted for. I think we’ve all hated each of them—maybe except for De Gaulle for like two brief years after the war. But other than that, yeah, it’s not been a great relationship.”

When asked about his experience filming The Substance with Demi Moore, Lesage praised his co-actor and the recognition she got for her role, adding that she was “incredibly good.”

“Being with Margaret Qualley and Demi Moore—it’s not your typical French TV show. I knew it was going to be special. I didn’t expect it to be that huge. It was well-deserved, but I didn’t realize it would resonate that much in the industry and with the public. I had one scene with Demi, so I couldn’t fully judge then, but when I saw the final film, I was like, Wow. She was so right for the part—and just incredibly good. Unbelievably good. I’m really happy for her.”

Lesage enjoys cinema, music and literature. He has reportedly been in a relationship with actress Ella Pellegrini. Apart from being an actor, Lesage also works as a director.

Actress Tori Spelling announced that she and her ex-husband, Dean McDermott, have finally reached a settlement in their divorce.

The couple has faced years of drama and financial uncertainty during their tumultuous marriage – even moving into an RV for months last year.

According to court documents filed on November 3, Spelling told a judge that she and McDermott had settled their divorce. The former couple allegedly signed a written agreement covering the division of property and financial support.

Specific terms of the agreement are yet to be revealed, but it marks the last step in ending Spelling and McDermott’s 18-year marriage. 

The case is currently awaiting a judge’s signature to make the separation official.

The actress filed for divorce in March 2024, citing irreconcilable differences, after the couple had separated nine months prior. 

In her petition, Spelling requested spousal support for herself while asking the court to deny any support to McDermott. 

She also sought physical custody of their minor children, with joint legal custody between the parents.

The actress and McDermott both share five children: Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 13, Finn, 13, and Beau, eight.

In his response, McDermott claimed that the date of separation was July 7, 2023, which was weeks after Spelling declared that they had broken up.

He had been against his ex-wife’s request for sole custody and asked for joint custody.

The actor also asked that she be ordered to pay him monthly support.

In an income and expense report filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on September 5, McDermott stated that Spelling earns between $3,000 and $75,000 per month, “depending on the job.”

The actor claimed to have a monthly income of approximately $3,800. He mentioned that the SAG/AFTRA strikes and “change in the industry” over the past year have had a massive impact on his pay.

“My acting and producing work has decreased drastically,” he stated.

The report lists McDermott’s average monthly expenses as $3,980 and reveals that he is past due on a $200,000 loan from City National Bank. He is also $12,000 in debt to Care Credit, as well as $2,500 in debt to Capital One, both of which are past due. He even has a balance of $1,200 for dental work he received.

President Donald Trump responded to Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, being stripped of his titles by sharing that he pities the British Royal Family.

During a press conference, Trump answered questions from reporters on Air Force One.

While speaking to one reporter, the president replied to a question about King Charles III‘s choice last week to effectively banish Andrew from the royal family for his connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The move was also due to allegations suggesting that he sexually abused an underage girl years ago.

“Prince Andrew has had his royal title stripped away because of the Epstein scandal,” the reporter said to Trump.

“I know you’re close to the royal family there,” he went on to say. “Do you have any thoughts on that?”

“I feel very badly,” Trump shared. “I mean, it’s a terrible thing that’s happened to the family. That’s been a tragic situation, and it’s too bad. I mean, I feel badly for the family.”

On October 30, Buckingham Palace announced that Andrew “will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.”

“His lease on the Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in his residence,” they added. “Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”

Andrew previously revealed his intention to relinquish his titles.

“With his majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further,” he stated. “I will therefore no longer use my title or honors, which have been conferred upon me. As I had said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”

Buckingham Palace considered these changes to be important.

“These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him,” they declared.

Smoke billowed from Kentucky’s Louisville International Airport on November 4, after a United Parcel Service (UPS) cargo plane crashed into a ball of flame moments after takeoff. Natasha Crown, a Serbian glamour model who is obsessed with getting plastic surgery, has shocked her fans after she shared photos of how she looked before her surgeries.

While speaking on an episode of the documentary Hooked On the Look, Crown discussed her journey of receiving surgeries.

She mentioned she first realized she wanted larger buttocks at the age of 17.

“When I was 17 – 18, I saw a girl who had a really big bum and I was sold,” she stated during the interview. “I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to have a bigger bum than her.'”

“So, the first procedure I did, I was 20 years old, and it was a Brazilian butt lift,” Crown then stated.

“Since then, I’ve done four Brazilian butt lifts, one breast augmentation, some botox, some fillers, everything,” the model added.

“I’ve added about 100 to this big bum,” she went on to say. “I’ve spent around $150,000 on my surgery.”

A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a surgical procedure where fat is removed from the stomach, lips, lower back, or thighs and transferred to the buttocks.

This leads to an hourglass figure and larger buttocks.

This particular surgery is not just costly, it is also quite dangerous, as it has, in some cases, been fatal.

Crown mentioned in the interview that she does not have any fears regarding the impact of plastic surgery procedures on her health.

“I don’t have any concerns about my health,” the model stated.

“When I’m out, people just stare, but that’s it,” Crown shared. “But online, people can be mean, but it doesn’t affect me.”

However, she did bring up that having enlarged buttocks can come with issues in her personal life.

“Some things that are difficult having this enormous butt is when I fly, I need to have two seats,” the model pointed out.

“I bump into people when I’m at [a] restaurant,” she continued.

The interview was posted on YouTube, and users in the comments shared how shocked they were by Crown’s surgery transformation. Some of them also expressed how amazed they were by her “before” photos.

“I wish she knew how beautiful her natural self was,” one wrote in the comments.

“The before is better than the after,” another user declared.

“She was so beautiful before the procedures,” another stated. “Sad women will do this and say it’s because men want it.”

Hannah Caldas, a transgender swimmer, received a five-year ban from World Aquatics and had her swimming results disqualified after she refused to participate in a gender verification test.

She competed at the World Aquatics Masters Championships in Doha, Qatar, last year, finishing first in her age category in the women’s 100m freestyle.

She also finished second in the women’s 50m freestyle and third in the women’s 50m breaststroke.

Earlier this year, the swimmer finished first in the five different events she entered at the United States Masters Swimming (USMS) Spring National Championship.

In August, USMS determined that Caldas is eligible to compete in the women’s category after a review, claiming that “the documents the swimmer submitted all demonstrate that she was assigned the female sex at birth and that she identifies as female, although she swam in the male category at USMS events 2002-2004,” according to the British news outlet, Metro.

However, World Aquatics revealed that Caldas has been suspended until October 2030 and her results from the last three years were disqualified after she refused to undergo a gene test, which determines whether an athlete is biologically male or female.

During the investigation, World Aquatics required the swimmer to undergo a genetic or chromosomal test, albeit at her own expense, to “prove” compliance with the organization’s “chromosomal sex” requirement under its Gender Policy to participate in the older-adult recreational World Aquatics Masters competition, the swimming news organization called SwimSwam reported.

This test was necessary even after Caldas provided World Aquatics with her birth certificate, which identified her as female.

“Chromosomal tests are invasive and expensive procedures,” Caldas said, according to the organization. “My insurance refuses to cover such a test because it is not medically necessary. No U.S. state requires genetic tests for recreational sports events like these. Not even U.S. Masters Swimming, the national governing body for recreational adult swimming in the U.S., demands this for any of its events.”

Caldas was cleared of misconduct by USMS arising out of her past participation in the organization’s sanctioned events.

She personally paid thousands of dollars in order to travel to Doha and compete.

She also experienced frequent violent threats in recent months just for participating in swimming events.

“I understand and accept the consequences of not complying with a World Aquatics investigation,” the swimmer stated. “But if a five-year suspension is the price I must pay to protect my most intimate medical information, then it’s a price I am happy to pay – for myself, and for every other woman who does not want to submit to highly invasive medical testing just to swim in an older-adult competition.”

Caldas also stated that she has no plans to participate in sanctioned USMS or World Aquatics Masters meets in the future.

“I have been swimming in sanctioned events for over 30 years, and I am prepared to let it all go,” she declared. “My life and privacy have been invaded enough. It is time to prioritize my health and personal safety.”

FBI Director Kash Patel fired a senior official, believing he was responsible for reports that showed Patel using his jet to attend an event where his girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, was singing.

In August, Wilkins took to social media to deny that she’s an Israeli spy after rumors circulated online.

Steven Palmer, a 27-year veteran of the FBI, became the third head of the critical incident response group, which includes FBI pilots, to be fired or removed in Patel’s brief tenure. He was fired and ousted without explanation.

Palmer’s exit was made official on October 31, and a replacement to lead the bureau’s crisis management operations, including hostage rescue and bomb detection, was already posted on the FBI’s website.

Patel was upset this week by social media posts and news stories noting his use of an FBI jet, which arrived in State College, Pennsylvania, where Wilkins, a country music artist, sang the national anthem at a wrestling match, according to the individuals who spoke anonymously due to fearing retaliation.

Palmer was told he had to resign immediately or be fired, which the individuals mentioned was at least partially connected to the FBI director’s fury regarding the negative media coverage of his personal travel.

The former FBI official’s position included looking over the FBI’s aviation units, but Patel’s flight schedule had been readily traceable through online tracking services. Additionally, he reposted images of himself with Wilkins from the event on his personal X account.

The people familiar with the situation declared that they were shocked as to why Patel may have blamed Palmer for the travel details.

Last month, Patel fired an FBI agent in training for displaying an LGBTQ Pride flag on his desk.

According to multiple people familiar with this termination, the trainee had been undergoing new agent training at the FBI’s academy in Quantico, Virginia, when he received a letter from the FBI director notifying him of his immediate dismissal.

The trainee, who worked as an FBI support specialist in Los Angeles, got a letter, dated October 1 and signed by Patel. It is alleged that the ex-employee displayed an improper “political” message in the workplace during his assignment in California under former President Joe Biden.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) criticized the co-hosts of The View, claiming that they have attacked her multiple times in the past.

“I’ve got to tell you, I’m sitting here just stumped, you know, because you are a very different person than I thought you were,” View co-host Sunny Hostin, stated during Greene’s appearance on November 4.

“Well, you’ve only seen me in clips and headlines, and that’s not fair,” the Georgia congresswoman declared.

“And that is true,” Hostin admitted. “Now, you’ve broken from the Republican party in a number of issues, including, besides the shutdown, such as the war in Gaza, tariffs, [Donald Trump‘s] desire to expand AI, foreign aid, but you’ve also had these clips highlighting the public – very public spats that you’ve had with your colleagues, were your behavior, some say, is just unbecoming for a congresswoman.”

“And you were promoting conspiracy theories like QAnon in the past, but you seem to have grown past that,” she noted. “And I feel like I’m sitting next to a completely different Marjorie Taylor Greene. Why the change? How – why the evolution?”

“All of this – this two-party fighting you guys, you are all victims of the political-industrial complex,” Greene claimed during her appearance on the show. “And it’s built on fundraising and fighting and toxic, just garbage. And that exists all over social media. But that’s not going to solve our problems in this country.”

“You’ve changed,” Hostin once again pointed out.

“Well, no, I haven’t changed,” Greene declared. “I was a victim, just like you were, of media lies and stuff you read on social media. You all have attacked me many times on this show.”

“We have,” the co-host admitted.

In September, Greene once again demanded on X that the United States should be split up between the red and blue states.

During an interview with The Washington Post last month, the congresswoman slammed the Republican Party and asserted that Republican men in Congress are “weak.”

Singer Kid Rock has garnered backlash from the Special Olympics for using a slur to describe his Halloween plans. In an interview on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime, the singer joked that he wanted to go as a “a r—-” for Halloween, covering his mouth with a face mask as he made the comment.

Loretta Claiborne, chief inspiration officer of the Special Olympics, released an open letter to Kid Rock regarding the interview. “The R-Word deeply demeans and harms people with intellectual disabilities,” wrote Claiborne. “I’m writing to you personally with an urgent request: please acknowledge the hurt caused and use this moment to stand with us in rejecting that word and the prejudice it represents.”

She went on to describe the harm the slur has caused and continues to cause. “Language plays a crucial role in that fight. Words like ‘retarded’ and ‘retard’ have a long, painful history of being used to belittle and dehumanize. When anyone, especially someone in the public eye uses them, it reopens wounds that so many of us have worked so hard to heal,” wrote Claiborne.

She implored Kid Rock to consider the weight of his actions as a public figure and the consequences they may have on others, before offering to speak with him in the future to “use this moment to build a world where each person is valued and respected.”

“You have the chance to turn this incident into a statement of strength, to acknowledge the harm, to stand with people with intellectual disabilities, and to help lead the conversation toward greater understanding and respect,” wrote Claiborne.

Kid Rock has also attempted to spark controversy through his support for President Donald Trump and his comments on pop culture.

Kid Rock said artist Kendrick Lamar turned the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime show from “DEI” into an “IED.”

Former Fox News Host Kimberly Guilfoyle took office as the U.S. ambassador to Greece on November 4. Guilfoyle is the first U.S. female ambassador to Greece.

While hosting Fox News’ The Five in 2008, Guilfolye called Greeks “freeloaders” and accused them of “retiring too early” while Greece recovered from its economic crisis.

The former fianceé of Donald Trump Jr., who was dumped by the president’s son months before the 2024 election, celebrated her new position with a lavish welcome party in Athens on November 2. Guilfoyle attended the party, hosted by Greek pop icon Konstantinos Argiros, with Vivid Seats co-founder Eric Vassilatos and other members of her close personal circle.

She wore a glittering dress, encrusted with rhinestones, and a white, cropped parka. The party drew over 300 guests, including several prominent figures from Greece’s political and business spheres.

“I will not disappoint you,” said Guilfoyle. The new ambassador joined guests on the dance floor for traditional Greek Syrtaki and Kalamatiano dances.

Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas officially accepted Guilfoyle’s credentials on November 3. The newly installed ambassador joked that she would “work on getting a new husband” in reference to her last visit to Greece, her honeymoon in 2004.

Guilfoyle visited the country to cover the 2004 Olympic Games. At the time, she and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) were married.

Guilfoyle has filled her schedule with photo ops and VIP appearances, including the 250th anniversary celebration of the U.S. Marine Corps on Saturday night. She plans to make her first appearance at the 6th Transatlantic Energy Cooperation Conference (P-TEC) in Athens. She will be accompanied by Energy Secretary Chris Wright, Interior Secretary Doug Bergham and over 20 European energy ministers.

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell has asked her fans for support after her oldest daughter, Chelsea, was sentenced to prison.

Chelsea was arrested and sentenced after violating the terms of her probation for possessing drugs.

Last year, she faced three different arrests in Wisconsin. Chelsea was arrested on felony charges as well as possession of illegal drugs, including amphetamines. O’Donnell’s daughter pleaded guilty on three felony counts of felony bail jumping, resisting and obstructing an officer, and possession of methamphetamine in February 2024.

She received six years of probation on March 31, on the condition that she stayed sober, did not possess alcohol or controlled substances without a prescription, did not own or possess a firearm and did not contact drug users or sellers. For possessing drugs, Chelsea had her probation revoked and was sentenced to prison on October 22.

O’Donnell expressed her concerns to her social media audience in a past Instagram post. In her caption, O’Donnell wrote about the challenges of raising Chelsea and supporting her in the face of her addiction.

“I have compassion for those struggling with addiction. Chelsea was born into addiction, and it has been a painful journey for her and her four young children,” O’Donnell said. “We continue to love and support her through these horrible times.”

In the comedian’s most recent post, a photograph of a young Chelsea “before addiction took over her life,” O’Donnell asked for her fans’ support. “I loved her then, I love her now as she faces a scary future – prayers welcomed,” wrote O’Donnell.

Chelsea is a mother of four, having daughters Skylar, Riley and Avery Lynn with ex-boyfriend Jacob Bourassa. She gave birth to her son, Atlas, with her new boyfriend, Jacob Nelund, in October 2023.

O’Donnell has recently made headlines for her opposition to President Donald Trump‘s policies. Regarding Jimmy Kimmel‘s suspension in September, O’Donnell stated that “America is no more. O’Donnell moved to Ireland in January 2025 and began the process of applying for Irish citizenship.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated that he did not think there had been any significant successes among U.S. health agencies.

During a recent interview with Fox and Friends, Kennedy was asked to cite the last major success by federal health agencies.

“I don’t think there have been any successes,” he answered.

The Health and Human Services secretary stated that this lack of achievement was due to what he termed as decades of excessive influence from pharmaceutical companies.

“We’ve seen a 30- or 40-year decline in the [HHS] because, you know, it’s been infiltrated by the pharmaceutical companies, and they’ve made a series of bad decisions,” he said.

In particular, he pointed to the opioid crisis as an example.

Kennedy also asserted that the HHS and its sub-agencies have, during the last several decades, strayed from their scientific goal due to “corrupting entanglements” with the pharmaceutical industry.

“What we want to do now is put an end to it, to end those entanglements, those corrupting entanglements with the pharmaceutical industry, and make this again a gold standard science agency that is protecting the American public,” the HHS secretary claimed during his interview.

On September 4, Kennedy sat before the Senate Finance Committee in Washington, D.C., facing a series of pointed questions regarding his leadership and controversial choices.

During his interview with Fox News, he described the grilling he received at the Senate Finance Committee hearing as an attempt by senators to grab attention for themselves rather than engage in a legitimate discussion of health issues.

“I’ve come to realize that those hearings are performative,” he stated. “They’re theater. And, you know, they’re not the kind of debate or open conversation that democracy would give us at its ideal.”

Kennedy went on to blame senators involved in his confirmation of being bound to pharmaceutical interests, but he did not offer evidence for this claim.

“They don’t want to hear the answers to the questions that they ask me,” the HHS secretary declared. “They want to make a little speech and then shut me down.”

During a 40-minute private speech to the Food and Drug Administration in late April, Kennedy made comments ridiculing the agency’s past decisions, claiming that the “Deep State” is real and referencing previous CIA experiments on human mind control.

He then claimed that the FDA’s proximity to the food industry had caused it to neglect to address food contamination.

On August 5, Kennedy attempted to scale back federal investment in vaccine research and development by having the HHS cancel nearly $500 million in grants and contracts for creating mRNA vaccines.

After Spanish-language artist Bad Bunny was selected to perform at the upcoming NFL Super Bowl’s halftime show last month, a petition began circulating aiming to replace the singer with country artist George Strait. Today, it passed an impressive milestone with 100,000 people signing on.

Last week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reiterated his support for the choice of Bad Bunny.

This petition, created through Change.org, argues that Strait is the better option because his music “embodies unity, tradition and timeless American music,” according to the petition’s description.

The description also says the reasoning that Bad Bunny shouldn’t perform is due to his outspoken criticism of President Donald Trump.

“His drag performances and style are the opposite of what families expect on football’s biggest stage,” it reads.

Although performances at the Super Bowl are not political, Bad Bunny has previously expressed his desire not to go on tour for his album, Debi Tirar Mas Fotos, in the U.S. to protest the ICE raids.

He told interviewers that “ICE could be outside [my concert].” In response to his upcoming performance, the Trump administration emphasized that ICE will be present at the Super Bowl set for February.

Angelynn Mock, a former TV news anchor, has been charged with murder after she allegedly stabbed and killed her 80-year-old mother, Anita Avers.

Mock, who anchored and reported for Missouri’s St Louis local station Fox 2 from March 2011 to February 2015, was taken into custody on October 31 in Wichita, Kansas, for reportedly killing her mother.

Officers with the Wichita Police Department replied to a report of a stabbing at around 8:00 a.m. on October 31 to find the former anchor standing outside a home while her mother was found in a bed with multiple stab wounds. 

According to authorities, Avers was taken to a hospital where she later died. 

Mock was also treated at the hospital.

She was then booked on a charge of first-degree murder.

Alyssa Castro, a neighbor who saw the aftermath of the alleged murder, told the Kansas TV news outlet, KAKE, that Mock approached her and her boyfriend with blood all over her.

“There was a woman who approached our vehicle with like blood, like her hands were filled, her body was filled with blood, asking to call 911,” Castro told the channel. 

She mentioned that Mock summoned her boyfriend, begging him to use his phone to call 911.

Castro also said the alleged killer took the phone and ran back to her home with it. Police later returned the phone to Castro’s boyfriend. 

The neighbor said that after the 911 call, she attempted to help the woman in any way she could. 

“I asked her if she was OK, and she was pretty [shaken] up, and she seemed scared, and she just ran off,” Castro recalled. 

“I’m just glad we were able to help you know what I mean,” she stated. “Like, we never know what anyone is going through. This happened randomly, but as long as we were able to get 911 and see what we can do, that’s all I really care about.”

Mock was booked into Sedgwick County Jail, where she is being held on a $1 million bond.

Jonathan Van Ness, a TV personality best known for his role on Queer Eye, recently lost around 70 pounds and publicly addressed the criticism he received regarding his weight loss, which was influenced by his use of GLP-1 medication. Van Ness is a strong advocate for body positivity, which has contributed to some controversy surrounding his weight loss journey.

In a TikTok video he posted on October 30, he responded to his followers when asked if he still maintained his prior body-positive stance. “What do you mean? I’m all about body neutrality,” he declared. “The way that you look does not define your worth, doesn’t define your loveableness. You are worth love and worth celebration, no matter what your body looks like.”

In the clip, Van Ness explained that he began using a GLP-1 medication, which is intended for Type 2 diabetes but has also gained popularity as a weight loss drug. He mentioned starting this medication after experiencing a medical issue in 2023.

Van Ness noted that the medication has helped him manage a binge-eating disorder that he previously described as “out of control.” This struggle had led him to make decisions he “regretted with compulsive eating.”

“I, for the first time in my life, had control over my food intake. It has just helped me so massively, and that’s part of why I wanna be honest with you about it because I know how important asking for help is, and how much asking for help can change your life in terms of healing.”

He credited many of his body changes to improved lifestyle choices, such as dieting, reducing alcohol intake and attending group Pilates classes through Solidcore, a fitness program focused on muscle building, which he claims helped him achieve defined abs.

“I feel like a f— minx right now,” he added. “I was always cute, and I always felt cute. But I just didn’t feel good, and now I feel good.”

Last year, Van Ness was confronted with allegations that he was “a monster to work with” on the set of Queer Eye.

Dean Lewis, a 38-year-old Australian singer known for his hit songs “Waves” and “Be Alright,” issued a statement following allegations made against him by multiple female fans who claimed he made them uncomfortable.  In his statement, Lewis said, “In the past few days, social media has made public a decade-plus of private conversations with a number of women, all of adult age.”

The three-time nominated actress, Diane Ladd, has died at 89, just three months after her husband, Robert Charles Hunter, passed away at 77.

On November 3, Ladd’s death was announced by her daughter, Laura Dern, who delivered a statement saying her mother died at her home in Ojai, California, with her daughter at her side.

Dern called her mother an “amazing hero” and a “profound gift of a mother” in her statement.

“She was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,” she went on to say. “We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”

The actress did not immediately mention her mother’s cause of death.

Ladd had a lengthy career in television and on stage before she broke through as a film performer in Martin Scorsese’s 1974 film Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore. She earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress due to her performance as Flo.

The late actress also appeared in films like Chinatown, Primary Colors, and two other movies for which she received Best Supporting Actress nominations: Wild at Heart and Rambling Rose, both of which co-starred Dern.

She also worked in television, with appearances in ER and Touched by Angel.

Ladd was married three times and divorced twice, first from Bruce Dern and then from William A. Shea, Jr.

Ladd’s third marriage to Hunter, an author and former PepsiCo executive, lasted from February 1999 until his passing on July 31.

On this day, he passed away in Fort Worth, Texas, while visiting his children, according to a statement from his family. 

“Robert always loved Texas,” the executive’s family wrote in their statement. “The wide skies, the bold spirit and the warmth of Fort Worth were part of his soul. Returning home brought him peace and joy — a feeling he often described as ‘like coming back to the rhythm of my heart.'”

Hunter and Ladd initially met in Sedona, Arizona. The actress wrote in her 2023 memoir, Honey, Baby, Mine: A Mother and Daughter Talk Life, Death, Love (and Banana Pudding), that he was there for self-introspection as he was divorced two years at the time and retired at age 50.

The late couple also co-founded Exxcell Entertainment in 1999 to produce films. He would then play Detective Hutchinson in David Lynch‘s 2006 thriller Inland Empire, which also featured Ladd and Dern.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina), known for her controversial behavior in Congress, cursed at and berated police officers at the Charleston International Airport in South Carolina.

In June, Mace introduced a bill to defund “sanctuary cities” in response to the anti-immigration protests in Los Angeles. In February, she accused her ex-fiancé of assault on the House floor.

Two Charleston County Aviation Authority police officers had been informed at 6:00 a.m. that they would need to escort the congresswoman from the curb to her flight, the incident report noted.

Officers were told she would arrive at 6:30 a.m. in a white BMW, according to the report.

At 6:20 a.m., three officers went to the ticketing curb area and waited for her car. They were told that at around 6:35 a.m. that she was running 15 minutes late and they kept waiting for the car, they said, not seeing a white BMW.

Security footage shows Mace arriving at a sidewalk entrance area at 6:50 a.m. in a dark gray sedan. No additional people were visible in the video.

Some time before 7:00 a.m., officers were informed that Mace had been waiting at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) entrance for known crew members, and the officers made their way over “in less than a minute,” the report added.

When officers met the congresswoman to escort her, they said she was “very irate” and “began loudly cursing and making derogatory comments to [them] and about the department.”

“She repeatedly stated we were ‘f—ing incompetent,’ and ‘this is no way to treat a f—ing US Representative,'” one officer mentioned in his report. “She also said we would never treat [Sen.] Tim Scott [(R-South Carolina)] like this.”

Another security video shows the TSA security checkpoint, with Mace speaking with two airport officials at the designated crewmember entrance.

It seems an airport employee called an unknown person. Almost three minutes later, the two officers arrived to escort Mace.

The video also showed that it took about seven minutes from the time she appeared at the known crewmember entrance and started interacting with airport employees to when the escorting officers arrived, the video.

The recollection of one officer mentioned Mace reportedly kept cursing at the officers and into her phone while they walked with her to the gate.

The officer then stated that after she boarded her flight, an airline employee and several other TSA agents expressed shock and upset over her behavior.

“Any other person in the airport acting and talking the way she did, our department would have been dispatch (sic) and we would have addressed the behavior,” one officer stated in their report.

“Apparently, simply arriving at an airport now makes headlines if you’re leading the race for governor,” Mace’s Director of Operations Cameron Morabito said in a statement.

“We are forced to take the congresswoman’s safety extremely seriously,” Morabito added. “After the world watched Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the threats against her have only intensified. Our security procedures are based solely on legitimate safety concerns, and any attempt to politicize this reality is both dangerous and reckless.”

Mace also spoke with The New York Times, saying she had complained to the airport since she is concerned about her safety, given recent death threats against her.

“We all get frustrated when it’s not taken seriously,” she told the publication.

On the latest episode of The Kardashians, business mogul Kim Kardashian claimed the 1969 moon landing was fake.

Kim told her All’s Fair co-star Sarah Paulson her point of view in between takes. “I’m sending you a million articles with both Buzz Aldrin and the other one,” said Kardashian.

Kardashian casts doubt on the statements of former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, 95. In the article Kardashian referenced, Aldrin responded to a question about the “scariest moment” from the Apollo 11 expedition. Kardashian commented that Aldrin has “gotten old” and “slurs” his speech. “So, I think it didn’t happen,” said Kardashian. The reality television star later admitted to “[centering] conspiracies all the time.”

A producer asked the SKIMS owner if she really “didn’t think we walked on the moon” in her confessional.

“I don’t think we did. I think it was fake,” said Kardashian. She supported her argument by referencing various factors, including the billowing American flag and the lack of stars in the footage. Kardashian told her producer to “go on TikTok” and “see for yourself!”

Several days later, NASA responded to Kardashian’s comment. In a post on X, NASA Acting Administrator Sean Duffy reposted the clip of Kardashian talking to Paulson, accompanied by the caption, “Yes, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times!” 

Duffy went on to promote the NASA Artemis program. “We won the last space race, and we will win this one too,” wrote Duffy.

TV host Dr. Phil, whose full name is Phil McGraw, has lost the legal battle for his media company, Merit Street, which will now be liquidated.

McGraw had asked Justice Scott Everett to keep the case in Chapter 11, but the judge found that McGraw had deleted incriminating text messages during the trial.

“Mr. McGraw’s actions violated not only the discovery order… but also a broader principle that the debtors, board members, or de facto officers or agents should not destroy property of the estate to help them in pending litigation,” said Everett.

The progression of the case to liquidation will enable McGraw’s creditors to recover the funds from the liquidated assets.

“The debtor’s business was as dead as a doornail when they filed bankruptcy, and nearly all the debtor’s employees were fired on day one,” said Everett. “Creditors can have faith that the process will play out fairly and neutrally.”

A trustee will oversee the sale of Merit Street’s remaining media library and the litigation regarding whether Christian broadcaster Trinity Broadcasting breached its contract with the company.

McGraw’s production company, Peteski Productions, and Trinity established Merit Street.

The latter filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July, claiming that Trinity had breached their contract and cost Merit Street nearly $100 million.

McGraw said that he didn’t choose to file for bankruptcy, but “capitulated” instead. He also emphasized the lengths he went to keep Merit Street operational, likening himself to the “little engine that could.”

The judge stated that McGraw’s texts revealed his intention to “pay favored creditors and not pay disfavored creditors.”

Maksim Chmerkovskiy, a former professional dancer on Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) for 17 seasons, publicly criticized Jan Ravnik, a DWTS pro who joined the show in Season 34. On October 24, during an episode of the podcast The Penthouse with Peta, hosted by his wife and former DWTS pro Peta Murgatroyd, Chmerkovskiy remarked on Ravnik’s ballroom technique.

”I’m sorry, Jan had absolutely no business being a pro on Dancing with the Stars. There’s zero foundation technique, quality and understanding of the partnership. Bro, I’m getting emotional. It is absurd, and this is unreal how blind we have to be and, God forbid, say what’s obviously there,” said Chmerkovskiy.

Following his comments, backlash ensued, prompting the former DWTS pro to issue a public apology. In his Instagram statement, Chmerkovskiy said, “I want to apologize to Jan for the way my words hurt your feelings. I would love to meet and talk about this, bury the hatchet.”

Ravnik also responded to the controversy, stating, “I have no comment on that. Look, I got all the love on this show. Whoever is saying, outside, the people who [are] trying to stay relevant and spreading the hate, this is not a way to do it. And I never will spread or take the hate.”

Three people in California have been diagnosed with a new and potentially more fatal strain of the Monkeypox virus, now known as Mpox.

Mpox is an infectious viral disease that can be passed through humans and animals. The symptoms include fever, swollen lymph nodes, rashes and blisters. The illness is often mild, and many infected individuals recover within a few weeks without treatment.

Three weeks ago, the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services confirmed the first case through testing at a state lab, while Los Angeles County health officials reported a second and similar case.

According to United States officials, these two individuals, who had been diagnosed last month, might be the first U.S. cases resulting from the local spread of a different version of the virus. The officials also noted that the risk to the public is low.

The two infected individuals were hospitalized and are recovering at home.

Officials refused to provide more details, but Jennifer Ann Gonzalez, the acting public affairs officer of the Long Beach health department, stated three weeks ago that “at this point in our investigations, we have not identified any association between the two cases.”

Although Long Beach is located in Los Angeles County, it has its own city health department.

Investigators in Long Beach stated that they have not identified a close contact who has traveled abroad, nor have they confirmed any additional cases.

A few of the person’s close contacts were given a vaccine, Nora Balanji, the Long Beach department’s communicable disease coordinator, reported.

“We don’t have any proof that there has been ongoing community transmission,” she said. “It’s something we’re looking into. That’s something we’re concerned about.”

Health officials in Los Angeles County said on October 17 that they are investigating a possible local spread of a more severe strain of mpox.

This announcement follows the discovery of the first U.S. case of the more severe mpox strain without known travel history in a patient from Long Beach, California, bringing the total number of cases in California to three.

No specific connection has been identified between the Los Angeles cases and the Long Beach case, according to Los Angeles County health officials.

“The confirmation of a third case with no travel history raises concerns about possible local spread in Los Angeles County,” Dr. Muntu Davis, a Los Angeles County health officer, stated in a press release. “We’re working closely with our partners to identify potential sources and understand how this potentially more serious type of the mpox virus may be spreading.”

In November 2024, California reported the first domestic case of the severe strain in a traveler from Africa who faced a mild illness.

As of now, the Jynneos vaccine, a two-dose vaccine approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to prevent smallpox and mpox, is the only vaccine being used in the U.S.

The Jynneos vaccine is recommended for adults who are at high risk for mpox, such as people who are gay and bisexual.

Isaiah Rodgers, 27, a cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings, has shared screenshots on social media from his direct messages on Instagram after receiving multiple racist comments after the Vikings’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rodgers posted multiple screenshots released with offensive messages, including Rodgers being called the n-word, even with one user saying he is “worse than Hitler.”

In response, the cornerback said on X that, “That’s not even the worst I’ve seen,” and to “stay solid or stay silent.”

Rodgers was the primary defensive player during the Eagles game, where he was involved in two key plays that contributed to Philadelphia’s win. After the game’s conclusion, Rodgers told interviewers, “I put it on me,” after feeling responsible for the team’s loss.

The Vikings released a statement, saying, “We are disgusted by the racial slurs directed at Isaiah Rodgers following yesterday’s game… there’s no room for racist words or actions in sports or society. We support Isaiah and all players who, unfortunately, experience this type of ignorant and prejudicial behavior.”

Before signing a two-year, $15 million contract with the Vikings, Rodgers previously played for the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2024 season. In Week 3, he became the first player in NFL history to score two defensive touchdowns and force two fumbles during the Vikings’ 48-14 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

He spent the first part of his career playing for the Indianapolis Colts for about three years before signing with the Eagles.

Singer Gloria Estefan recently shared her views on the immigration crackdown in the U.S. and the trial of Sean Combs. The singer released her most recent album, Raíces, earlier this year.

The former Miami Sound Machine frontwoman claimed to have never “seen freedoms being eroded in the way they are now,” after living in the U.S. for 66 years. She said this in an interview with The New York Times.

Estefan, 68, went on to share her experiences with now-deported migrants, including the girlfriend of her guitarist’s technician. Although she had lived in the U.S. for “25 years” with a visa, she was apprehended and is now being held at a detention center.

“Why? It’s inhumane, it’s scary and not necessary,” said Estefan. “We don’t have much power other than letting people know that that’s not what the U.S. stands for.”

Estefan explained how her experience escaping the oppressive regime of Fidel Castro in Cuba has informed her perspective on the Trump administration.

“I carry my passport card around just in case, because who knows what can happen,” said Estefan. The singer noted that Cuba gave her cause to be “so wary of what’s happening, because this is the way things happened there.”

The four-time Grammy winner also shared her experiences with Sean Combs, who was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison and a $500,000 fine on October 3, after being convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

Estefan said that his parties would “go on till eight or nine in the morning,” although she and her husband never “stepped foot in his house — or him in ours. We lived across the street.”

Estefan went on to share her own experiences with abuse, having been abused by a family member at 9 years old. The singer kept the information to herself for years, fearing for her mother’s safety.

“I wanted to talk about it, for other women, but I waited till my mum had passed,” said Estefan. “It was hard enough for her to deal with my celebrity — this would have killed her.”

Estefan’s daughter, Emily Estefan, was allegedly attacked by her partner, Gemeny Hernandez, on October 28. Hernandez was arrested on domestic violence charges after an altercation surrounding a cell phone. Hernadez’s victim was anonymous in the affidavit, but was stated to be her “domestic [partner] for approximately 8 years.” Hernandez and Emily began dating in 2016.

President Donald Trump revealed that he renovated the once “Art Deco” Lincoln Bathroom in the White House with black and white marble tiles and gold fixtures.

Trump has been devoting much of his time to renovation projects at the White House as SNAP food benefits ran out for 40 million Americans this weekend amid the government shutdown.

Trump uploaded a post that featured three images of the newly renovated bathroom to his social media platform, Truth Social.

“I renovated the Lincoln Bathroom in the White House,” Trump wrote in the caption of another post, which showed before and after images of the bathroom. “It was renovated in the 1940s in an Art Deco green tile style, which was totally inappropriate for the Lincoln Era. I did it in black and white polished Statuary marble. This was very appropriate for the time of Abraham Lincoln and, in fact, could be the marble that was originally there!”

“The Refurbished Lincoln Bathroom in the White House — Highly polished, Statuary marble,” the president stated in a separate post that featured more images of the renovated bathroom.

Last month, Trump talked about his plans for renovating the room.

“It’s a style that is not good … it is actually Art Deco and Art Deco doesn’t go with 1850 and civil wars,” he stated.

“So, I ripped it apart, and we built a bathroom that’s absolutely gorgeous and totally keeping in that time because the Lincoln bedroom is so incredible for those of you who have seen it,” Trump went on to say.

On September 28, Trump posted a 37-second video on social media in which he displayed the gold trimmings used to redecorate the Oval Office and Cabinet Room of the White House.

The camera panned over the gold medallions and other accents used to redecorate the Oval Office.

“Some of the highest-quality 24 Karat Gold used in the Oval Office and Cabinet Room of the White House,” Trump stated in the post’s caption. “Foreign Leaders and everyone else ‘freak out’ when they see the quality and beauty. Best Oval Office ever, in terms of success and look!!! President DJT.”

Demolition of the East Wing of the White House began on October 20, making way for Trump’s 90,000-square-foot ballroom, which is similar to the ballroom at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.

Christian Kane is an American actor and singer-songwriter, known for his role as Eliot Spencer in the 2008 drama Leverage as well as its 2021 television revival titled Leverage: Redemption (2021-). He is also known for his role as Lindsey McDonald in Angel (1999). In addition to acting, Kane is also the lead singer of the rock band Kane.

Christian Kane was born on June 27, 1974 (Christian Kane age: 50) in Dallas, Texas. His family moved around a lot in the south, finally settling in Norman, Oklahoma, where Kane grew up since the eighth grade. His father, Billy Michael Short, was in the oil business. His mother is Pamela Ann Short. He has a sister, Jennifer Le Ann Short. Kane is reportedly of Cherokee ancestry. 

Kane pursued his education at the University of Oklahoma, earning a degree in Art History, and was also involved in collegiate-style wrestling and football during his time in college. He then decided to become an actor and headed to Los Angeles, where he worked at a talent management company, delivering scripts in exchange for acting jobs. 

Kane began his acting career in 1997, playing the role of a country singer in MGM’s Fame L.A. (1997-1998). He went on to gain recognition through roles in Joss Whedon’s Angel as Lindsey MacDonald, Steven Spielberg’s Into the West (2005), and the MTV film Love Song. On the big screen, his credits include Just Married (2003), Life or Something Like It (2002) and Summer Catch (2001). He rose to fame as Eliot Spencer in TNT’s hit series Leverage (2008-2012), a role he reprised in Leverage: Redemption (2021). Kane starred in King and Maxwell opposite Rebecca Romijn and was once again cast with her in The Librarians (2014-2018). 

Alongside acting, Kane fronts the country-rock band Kane. Their album House Rules debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, with singles such as “Let Me Go” receiving widespread plays and recognition. He has collaborated with various artists, including Trace Adkins, Blair Daly and Jerrod Niemann.

In an exclusive interview with uInterview, Kane and co-star Gina Bellman responded to fans’ questions about Leverage: Redemption, with Kane also recalling behind-the-scenes moments with Beth Riesgraf, his co-actor on the film. 

When asked about his character’s distinctive fighting style and what inspired it, Kane said, “That’s a great question. I was a wrestler in high school out of Oklahoma, and you can’t really film that kind of stuff. I wanted to do that. They said, “No, we’re going to come in with some Kali.” I know a little bit about it, but I’m not a master of it. It’s the art of striking and hitting at the same time. He did a lot of that. A really good friend of ours, Charlie Brewer, who was a stunt coordinator on the first series, kind of showed that. Then I brought in Lex Damos, who is our stunt coordinator now, a very dear friend of mine, one of my best friends, and he kind of knows what I do and what I don’t do. We just keep it new. It’s not a fight anymore. It’s not a style. This is going to upset a lot of people. It’s more of a dance. We’re just dancing. If we do this dance and everybody doesn’t go to the hospital, which sometimes we do, we win. It’s a dance. We tried to come up with as many scenarios as we could to keep it new, to keep it fresh. We’re on Broadway every day.”

He was further asked if he had a favorite fight of the season, and he responded that he likes the episode co-star Beth Riesgraf directed, saying:

“I like the episode that Beth directed with all the Harley guys because it was one shot and it’s eight guys. Is that too much? Am I saying too much? It was one shot, and I couldn’t mess it up. Every time we got done all of us were so tired. It was ridiculous. It was fun. That was just hammering me. My favorite fighting style is just hammering people.”

His co-actor, Gina Bellman, chimed in with praise for Kane, saying:

“Honestly though, when you’re on set he’s like, “Are you OK?” And he’s always helping the guy up and dusting them off. He’s very caring and considerate. I would hate to be on a set where someone gets punched and the guy just walks away.”

“I don’t do that,” Kane said, laughing. “It’s really fun because, like I said, it’s a dance, and if you do the dance right, everybody gets to go home. The style of fighting is street fighting. I grew up in a really bad place, and that’s what I do,” he said with a smile.

Fans were also curious about the mysterious envelope hidden in John’s desk. Kane and Bellman shared a smirk, stating that the envelope contained their characters’ deaths, with Kane playfully saying that he thinks Bellman would “probably die by fashion, and [he] would probably die with too many guys to fight. I think John has respected us so much after all these years that he would give us, like, Elliot fights a hundred people and Gina to death with one of her scarves,” he says, laughing. 

Christian was asked whether his co-stars changed their mannerisms or preparation depending on which character they were playing, particularly after the transition from The Librarians to Leverage: Redemption. Kane commended co-star Noah Wyle for making the transition seamlessly, noting that he had learned a lot from him as an actor and admired his professionalism.

“It was really strange because if Noah said, ‘Go mop the deck,’ I would do it. Then all of a sudden I’m like, ‘Don’t do that.’ And he’s like, ‘OK, I’m sorry.’ There’s never been anything more flawlessly done in my life than that. I honestly think that’s because of Noah Wyle. I learned a lot from him as an actor. For him to make that transition, I learned even more. He’s really great to work with. It’s an honor.”

When asked about their favorite moments on and off camera, both Bellman and Kane had wholesome moments to share. 

“There’s an episode that takes place in a pool hall, and Sophie talks about not being able to play pool at all through the episode. Then she has a moment alone,” Bellman shared. “She has a moment alone, and she’s been made fun of about how she can’t play pool, and she’s been playing along with it. Then there’s a moment where she takes the cue and she pots the ball. I did it nine times out of nine. I got it. That’s true. That’s absolutely true. I got it in my pocket nine times out of nine. I was so happy. Gina can’t play pool, but Sophie can.”

“That’s true,” Kane said, smiling. “It’s not a spoiler because it’s in the trailer. Noah brought up something about doing a handshake earlier in the episode. Then we do it later on. We came up with it to where we should just get it wrong and do all that. I was in character at the time, but when the camera cut, I was on the ground laughing. That was one of my favorite things we shot this year.”

Kane then looked at Bellman and shared a sweet note with her. “Behind the scenes, I have to say, it’s just working with you. She’s my rock. She’s always been there. It was so much fun for everybody to be back. We’re in different places in our lives, and to see her—I love her.”

In another interview with uInterview, while in conversation with co-star Riesgraf, Kane shared more moments on the sets of Leverage, recalling the wonderful experience.

“Yeah, we never really let these characters go, and we didn’t know our first go-around that it was going to be over. We always thought we had some way to keep going forward. Beth and I, more than anyone, kept in touch with Dean. I’ve worked for Dean Dean since 2007. I’ve never stopped working for him, and Beth was very good friends and came in and did The Librarians with us. Dean always had it—it never really was gone. It may look like that to other people, but we always had a little glimmer of hope that it was going to come back in some way. Dean would always put little bites out there. The fans never let go either. I didn’t let this character go; I kept him pretty close to my heart.”

“The very first day of filming, we were all back in, and Devlin did something brilliant. He put us all in a very big scene in the first shot—a trial by fire. We all had to be in character and get it done. It took all of a minute and a half, and everyone was just comfortable again. We knew exactly whose shoes we had on and what hat we were wearing. It just clicked, and it never stopped.”

When asked about their experience working with Noah Wyle, Riesgraf talked about Wyle’s ability to “do comedy and drama effortlessly, to click into the improvising and pacing of our show, which can catch even seasoned actors off guard.” She gushed about how his comic style is similar to Peter Sellers and how her favorite moments are when he’s paired up with Gina Bellman. “The way he plays discomfort and awkwardness—it’s genius,” she said, smiling.

Kane also had nothing but praise for Wyle.

“I worked with Noah for four years on The Librarians. We were in the trenches a lot. That was his show; he was the librarian, my boss. I came on as an apprentice. He tells me to kill that monster—I go kill the monster. He was the top guy, I was the bottom guy. Then on this show, the dynamic changed. Now he’s a broken lawyer, and I’ve been on the Leverage circuit a long time. How does that dynamic play, where I used to take orders from him and now he looks to me as someone who knows the con and the job? It was a total power exchange. I don’t think we could have done it without him. He did it flawlessly. I have nothing but respect for him. That’s a tough thing to do, and he did it so well that I completely forgot the old power exchange. He was so great playing this new character. I’ve learned a lot of comedic timing from him.

Beth said it perfectly—I love the Peter Sellers comparison. He taught me, coming from playing Elliot Spencer, that it’s okay to make fun of yourself. My comedy got better once I accepted that, and I had a blast with it. I’ve carried a bit of that over, so I love working with him, both as an actor and someone you can learn from.”

When asked about a favorite moment from the season, both actors spoke excitedly about the equipment and action scenes on set. 

“Anytime I get to do action as Parker, I really love it. We expanded that role this season because she’s been off running with Elliot and Hardison, gleaning some of their fighting spirit. In the hurricane episode, we got to do physical stuff I enjoyed. Technically, I geek out over the hurricane machine, wind machines, all the effects—I loved that,” Riesgraf said, nodding excitedly. 

Kane chimed in, adding to the enthusiasm. “For me, it’s hard to pick, but I’ll give one. Beth directed it. I’m in a bar, reading across the table from LeVar Burton—it’s a piece of American history for us, and he became a fast friend. I’m having this dialogue, thinking this is cool, and here comes Noah with a cane and an eye patch—it’s too much. Elliot’s already perturbed. He and Beth came up with a bit where he drops the cane, and I knew I was going to burst out laughing. That scene felt like yesterday. Being with those two guys and her directing—it’s one of my favorite comedic timing moments. It’s too hard to pick just one; all those moments were amazing.”

When asked about how the actors decided this would be their profession and details on their first acting experience, they laughed and shared what propelled their decisions.

“My dad was in the oil business, on the blue-collar side, and we moved around a lot. I went to five different elementary schools. I was always the new kid, always having to make new friends, if I even did before we moved again. It was tough as a kid.”

“I remember my mom used to drop me off at the movies. I would see two movies and then go home,” Kane said. “The movies became my best friend. In high school, every Sunday night, I went by myself—no one else. I realized what I was imagining: I wanted to grow up and be a firefighter, a jet pilot, a cocktail waitress—whatever Tom Cruise was doing, that was going to be my profession. Then, at about 13 or 14 years old, I thought, wait a minute, I could be an actor and be them all.”

“In high school, Sunday nights were my acting class,” Kane continued. “No girlfriend, no friends, nobody was allowed to go with me. I knew I wanted to be an actor. So you move out to Hollywood, and both of us—we’re playing the roles we came out here to play.”

“He’s my favorite character by far and probably always will be. I love Parker to death too, she’s one of the best. But not only are we working actors right now, we’re getting to play characters we love. That combination is rare. And we’ve been doing it since 2007. It’s fantastic,” he said with a smile.

Kane enjoys singing, songwriting and cooking in his free time. He is a trained martial artist as well, and also loves golf. 

Kane is unmarried and does not have any children. He is currently single. He has reportedly been in relationships with Whitney Duncan, Sofia Pernas and Linda Brava.

Adrianne Curry, the winner of the first season of America’s Next Top Model in 2003, claims that a makeover directed by Tyra Banks “permanently damaged” her scalp and hair, leaving her “partially bald” 22 years after the show’s filming.

Curry alleges that Banks instructed the stylist to apply a weave to her hair, which ultimately caused significant damage to her hair. In Curry’s words, “The reason is, when I was on Top Model, Tyra Banks told them to put a weave in my hair.” She followed with, “The Black Stylists that were putting it in pulled her [Tyra Banks] aside. I heard them tell her, ‘This white chick’s hair is too fragile for this.”

Despite their concerns, Banks reportedly told them to “just do it,” which led to her scalp to begin “oozing” and resulted in her claim that, “half my hair had been ripped out.”

As a result of this experience, Curry had to visit a specialized salon to have the weave removed; however, she was unable to disclose where she received the weave due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Curry’s experience on the show profoundly changed her perspective. She stated, “I think most of these makeovers were done just to torture us.”

The show, which aired from 2003 to 2018, has been criticized for the emotional and physical abuse experienced by contestants. Many former participants have spoken out about the excessive exploitation and harsh working conditions they faced during their time on the show. Eugenia Washington, a contestant from season 7, expressed, “I felt like my life was being put on the line for ratings.”

There have also been accounts of distressing incidents during “Ty-Overs,” the term used for makeovers orchestrated by Banks. Contestants have reported being pressured, with remarks such as, “This is what Tyra wants — this is how we have to do it,” according to Aminat Ayinde, a contestant from season 12.

Prince Andrew, Duke of York, has lost all his titles, including the title of prince, and has been asked to vacate his residence at Royal Lodge. He will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. This decision was made by his brother, King Charles III, following significant controversy surrounding Andrew.

On October 30, Buckingham Palace released an announcement stating, “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on the Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in his residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”

These significant changes in Andrew’s role within the Royal Family are linked to allegations against him involving the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his connection to Virginia Giuffre, a woman who accused Andrew of assaulting her when she was 17 years old.

This statement came as a shock to the public, as Andrew is the son of the late Queen Elizabeth and the brother of the current King Charles III.

Andrew previously announced his intention to relinquish his titles, stating, “With his majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or honors, which have been conferred upon me. As I had said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”

Buckingham Palace, in connection with this previous statement, deemed these changes to be crucial, saying, “These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”

In light of these recent events, confusion has arisen regarding the royal titles of his two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, raising questions about their rights to hold these titles. The palace has confirmed that the two will retain their titles.

On October 30, Julia Fox attended a Halloween event in New York City dressed as Jackie Kennedy, dressed in a blood-stained suit reminiscent of the outfit she wore when her husband, John F. Kennedy, was assassinated. This costume sparked significant backlash, as many viewed it as insensitive and offensive given the tragic real-life event it references.

Jack Patten, Lauren McQueen and Lydia Peckham, the stars of the new MGM+ series Robin Hood, opened up exclusively to uInterview about how they brought a fresh take on the classic tale. “When we first did the chemistry read in London, it was just like a sort of gut feeling thing,” Patten, who stars as Robin, told uInterview founder Erik Meers about co-star McQueen, who plays his love interest Marion. “I thought, ‘If they don’t pick Lauren, I don’t know what they’re doing.’ We became fast friends.
