Copy the patched file 'AlarmServer.ini' back to your phone (to dir 'C:\Private\101F5027\').
Immediately restart your smartphone.

Great tricks by gabika for UIQ3 smartphones users on how to add the ability of apps to autostart when phone turned on. Really guys, you all should appreciate him and contribute him for many of his great works!

Download SIS Contents 1.0.5 build 31
Open SIS file with SIS Contents
Go to Tools, then select Edit Package and click on Contents button.
Double click the "exe" file to add four (4) capabilities: ReadDeviceData, WriteDeviceData, ReadUserData, WriteUserData [THIS IS MINIMUM CAPABILITIES].
Open notepad, and write app name eg.: AutoCam.exe and save as AutoCam.ast
On SIS Contents, click Add Entry then select Add file Entry
Choose AutoCam.ast. Target: c:\private\10274b9f\import\AutoCam.ast. click OK.
Save as SIS File...
Install on your phone!

SOME CLUE :

here in this tutorial, Gabika intended to make autocam to be autostarted on phone boot. I tested it to make linkboy autostarted, it works great buddy!
Of course, you can apply it for other apps, just don't forget to change the name of "exe" and "ast" file resemble the apps you modified.
Look at the pic on step 1 to get the name of the "exe" file. In my case, I used LinkBoy.exe and LinkBoy.ast
The target location is the same as mentioned above, c:\private\10274b9f\import\
Ask me if you still have any problems, or just request me the apps to be autostarted and then I'll make it for you ^_^

Instruction :

Go to C:\private\10003a3f\import\apps or D:\private\10003a3f\import\apps
Edit ***_reg.rsc with Xplore or PC hex editor
Find app name
After app name se 2 byte: usually 05 00
Replace 05 00 to 05 02
save.

A small program created by Ninjalandpirate to remove icon packs from c:\resourse apps, this is for only for icon packs that have not been compiled into sis files.

Instruction : REMEMBER TO INSTALL ON D:\ !

REMEMBER some icon packs have many files! and i have designed this based on a list of 54 icon file names from the "g700 full icon pack" so there is a chance some icons wont be removed, if this is a big issue for you, contact me with the excact file names for your most comprehensive icon pack an i shall add them to the app.

Also remember do not use this app if you are using sis icon packs as they can be removed easily from uninstall menu.

How to create startup & shutdown animations for UIQ3

This is a great tutorial of making startup & shutdown animations for Sony Ericsson UIQ3 smartphones (P990, P1i, W950, M600, W960, etc) by Base, translated by Diapason.

To do this tutorial, you'll need :

startup.mpg4 & shutdown.mpg4
audio file which starts with startup.mpg4 and another witch starts with shutdown.mpg4.
Elecard Converter Studio ProHD and Xilisoft Video Converter 3

Creating Video files :

create your video clip - with duration up to 10 seconds- and save it with highest quality...(you can use Windows Movie Maker to separate desired part of video or use other video editing softwares)
Use Xilisoft Video Converter 3 to convert your video file. Set profile section to MP4 - MPEG-4 Video (*. mp4). In size section, type 320*240 if you want your video shown horizontal, or 240*320 for vertical.
Convert your file again with Elecard Converter Studio ProHD (you should produce a silent video). In track section there are our video and its audio. Remove tick of audio file and from stream type parameters select Elementary.

From Video encoding parameters select Stream copy in Video encoding format

Now select Save to batch list

and start converting

Done. It's your first video file. Create the second video with the same way. Rename them to startup.mpg4 & shutdown.mpg4

Creating Audio files :

You can use Xilisoft Video Converter to extract audio files from video and then rename them to startup.mp3 & shutdown.mp3

The duration of audio should be up to 9 seconds and with specifications of: 128kb / sec , 2 channels (stereo), 48000 Hz.

That's all! You've successfully creating your files.

Copying to phone :

Copy the four created file to C:\private\102030FD.
Copy some required files to C:\SYS folder. Download the required files here from ziddu or sendspace.

Tricks For Slick Apps

Slick is a great IM application for our Sony Ericsson UIQ3 phones (P990i, M600, W950, W960, P1i, etc) that can save message history. Here is the tricks to save the message history and modify the config file.

Make sure Slick doesn't run.
Run Capswitch and Off the Capabilities.
Run X-Plore or other file manager, then go to X:\Private\a0000bcf\Messenger (X is the drive where you installed slick)
Inside the folder we could find folder History. We could just copy the whole folder to save our message history.
If you want, you could also modify config.txt (config file). Inside slick we could change message history max to 50 messages and history max week to 16 weeks. If we change from this config.txt, we could get more than the maximum value. I change history_num_lines from 50 to 100 (inside config.txt) and then save it. * Run Slick and here we are, having more history message for our Slick.

MIDlet permissions changer Installation :

Applied Signing hack if you haven't applied yet.
Run Capswitch and OFF the capabilities
Install midperx.sis.

MIDlet permissions changer instruction :

Run MIDLET permissions from Tools.
Choose the java apps that you want to change the permissions.
For example, you want to get rid off the annoying Read permissions, then tap on User permissions and choose Read User Data. Change the Interaction Mode to Ask Once. Remember, SAVE IT BEFORE YOU CHANGE OTHER PERMISSIONS.
After you sava it, you can change other permissions. for example, now you want to get rid off the annoying Write permissions, then tap on User permissions and choose Write User Data. Change the Interaction Mode to Ask Once. SAVE.
You can change other permissions if you need to.

REGISTRATION METHOD:

Step 1 :

Register with serial generated by the given keymaker (Enter your IMEI in "Owner name" box and press Enter)
Run it once then exit

Step 2 :

Copy hosts file from hosts1 folder to: C:\Private\10000882\hosts (This folder does not exist on C:\Private, so just create it. If you have created it for LCG Jukebox already, then no need to do this step)
Restart app with internet connection available (wifi or gprs).
It will ask for online authencation check. Press Yes to allow.
After checking, a message will show authentication sucessfull.
Now you can use it forever. It will never check again. (If authentication fails by hosts1 file, replace by hosts2 file)

Attention : Your PC antivirus maybe will get rid of the k*yg*n. It's common that cr*ck program or k*yg*n are identified as a virus by Antivirus. So disable the antivirus if you will extract and using the keygen.
